Eileen Gloria Baker
BAKER, Eileen Gloria. It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend on Thursday, August 9, 2012. Cherished and devoted sister and sister-in-law of Marvin and Sonia Baker of Arizona, Albert and Toby Baker of Toronto, Dorothy (Baker) and the late Henry Winterfeld and the late Hyman Hart, Faigie and Jimmy Nurse, Irving Baker, Pauline and the late Edward Baker. Treasured and devoted aunt and great-aunt of Michael, Howard and Jonathan Hart, as well as her many other nieces and nephews. Eileen was an exceptional and generous woman always extending a helping hand and giving of her heart to others. She was a respected and devoted employee of Glazer’s Inc. for 42 years. She will be enormously missed and treasured by all those whose lives she touched. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Medical Team of the ICU and 5 South of the St. Mary’s Hospital who treated Eileen and our entire family with compassion, dignity, and respect. Beloved mother of seven children: Judith Bercusson, Debbie Lightstone, David Bercusson, Tamar Sudai, the late Carolyn Behar, the late Brian Bercusson, and the late Naomi Tzoubari. She is mourned by her sons-in-law Alexander Lightstone, Rafael Tzoubari and Moshe Sudai, and her daughter-in-law Catherine Bercusson. "Savta Libby" will be missed by her grandchildren: Yair and Dorit Behar, Naomi and Gordie Fogel, Jonathan and Vlada Behar; Sarah and Amelia Bercusson; Rachel Rudolf; Bonnie, Simon and Sabrina Lightstone; Liat, Carmit, Ofir, Eden and Maayan Tzoubari; Boaz, Oren, Dafna and Talia Sudai, and by her great-grandchildren: Elana, Daniel and David Fogel; Aliya, Jasmin and Chloe Behar; Hailey and Nathaniel Behar.
