Philip Edward Pass

PASS, Philip Edward. At the young age of fifty-nine, on Saturday, January 5, 2013. He is survived by adoring wife Janice Lipson Pass, brother Lawrence and sister Carol Lynn Pass. Son of the late Joan Abbey Pass and the late Benjamin Pass. Brother-in-law of Mark Lipson and Noreen Zylberlicht, Sharron Lipson and Allan Lerman. Philip was a dearly loved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. Philip was a creative and well-respected adult educator and facilitator whose immense zest for life will be sorely missed. Funeral service at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, Toronto on Tuesday, January 8, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park Cemetery, Toronto. ROZANSKI, Sarah (née Gurycka). Peacefully, on Sunday, January 6, 2013, in her ninety-fifth year. Beloved wife of the late Matus Rozanski. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Regina and Michael Waxman. Cherished Grandma of Jeremy and Jaime Roll, and Jonathan Roll and fiancée Nicole. Beloved great-grandmother of Jake and Joshua Roll. Special aunt of Dorik and Tamara Rozanski. Cherished Bubby of Lisa and Mark, Josh and Danielle, Eric, Adam, Chad, and Shira. Proud great-grandmother of Zoe, and Max. Predeceased by her dear siblings. Survived by her sister-in-law Bunny Lecker. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. STEIN, Robert H. (Bob). It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Robert H. (Bob) Stein on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the age of ninety-one. Beloved husband of the late Irene Zisles for sixty-nine years. Most treasured father and father-in-law of Terry Cohen (Sol Levinson), Linda and Michael Senzilet, and Ron Stein. Loving grandfather of Jamie Berenbaum and Wendy Schaffer, Kelly Cohen, Casey Cohen; and Robin Senzilet. Adored great-grandfather of Kaitlyn and Jack Berenbaum. Cherished brother of Sandra Smiley, the late Natalie Hersh and the late Harold Stein, and brother-in-law of Zees and Myer Wenger, the late Mark Galler, the late Hy Smiley, the late Sam Hersh and the late Edith Stein. Sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. The family would like to thank Clerene and the staff of the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre and the staff of Park Place Retirement Residence for their exemplary care and compassion. Bob was a good man in every sense of the word. His illness robbed him of his ability to communicate, but his smile and dancing eyes said it all.
