PETERS, Lois (née Ressler). Peacefully in her eighty-seventh year on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Beloved wife of Ross Peters for sixty years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Helene and Norman Braunstein, Eric and Sherri Peters. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey Braunstein and Michael Peters. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eileen and Ted Goldman, Madeleine and Gerald Ritz, Addie and the late Joseph Peters. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Dora and Irving Richer; and sister-in-law of the late Ethel and the late Sydney Fineberg, Valerie and the late Isaac Rabinovitch, Roslyn Greenberg and the late Hub Greenberg, the late Larry Greenfield. Cherished aunt of Norman and Susan, Eileen and Alvin, Beth, Warren, Brian, Renee, David and Chiaki, Jamie, Val and Elaine. Cherished grandfather of Jackie Herman and Michael Gonshor; Tara Rozen and Brad Levine, Jamie, and Sean Rozen; Brandon, and Erica Kader. Proud great-grandfather of Emma Gonshor, and Eden Levine. Predeceased by his siblings Shalom, Israel Moshe (Jack), Leibisch, Jacob, Tannachan, Gitel, Lusa Haskel (Harry), and Nathan. Brother-in-law of the late Lola Kader, the late Rose and the late Max Flamenbaum. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mother and mother-in-law of Zeevi and Rhona Rosenberg, Gideon and Mary Anne and the late Arlene Rosenberg. Grandmother of Neil and Elizabeth Rosenberg of Thornhill, Ontario, David and Sabrina Rosenberg of Southington, Connecticut, Michael and Paula Rosenberg, and Amanda Rosenberg. Great-grandmother of Kyra and Tristan Rosenberg; and Brooke Rosenberg. Sister and sister-in-law of Adi and Alisa Gutraiman of Israel, Jacob and Chana Neiman of Holland. Daughter of the late Golda and the late Moshe Gutraiman. The family would like to thank the staff of 3C at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for the wonderful care they took of Emma in the last 18 years. Proud great-grandpa of Zvi Mordechai, Liba Rivke, and Esther Chana. Brother and brother-in-law of Peggy and Saul Perelman, Harry Morris, and Marvin Morris, and Roslyn Bier. Predeceased by his parents William and Freda Morris, and by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Nat Liebman, Ruby and Bernice Avertick, Moe and Sylvia Malomet, Moe and Annie Liebman, Nathan Bier.
