John passed away at the West Island Palliative Care Residence, after a courageous battle with cancer, on March 27, 2004. Beloved husband of Linda Young. He is also survived by his niece Melanie and her family, his dog Brewsky, his cat Simba, as well as other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years Germaine, his son Robert, his daughter-in-law Johanne, his beloved granddaughter Laurence, his niece Nicole, her husband Leslie, their three sons, Scott, Ian and Jason, as well as other relatives and friends. The visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514-685-3344), on Saturday, March 27 from 3:30-4 p.m., followed by a Memorial Celebration in the Chapel at 4 p.m.
