Le 17 janvier dernier, est décédé, à l’âge de 88 ans, M. Dominique LeBlanc, époux de Mme Marie Dupuis. Il fut précédé dans la mort par son fils Donald. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil son fils Michel (Solange Bilodeau), son frère Philippe (Jeannette), ses petits-enfants François, Yann, Danièle et Marie-Ève (qui sont les enfants de Donald) ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux et amis. La famille souhaite remercier le personnel de l’hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal pour leurs bons soins. Les visites auront lieu le mardi 20 janvier de 19h à 21h au Salon funéraire Armstrong, 1640 Côte-Vertu, Ville Saint-Laurent, (514) 331-1104. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Odile, 4545 de Salaberry le mercredi 21 janvier à 14h. Des dons en sa mémoire à la fondation de l’hôpital du Sacré-Cœur seraient grandement appréciés.

DELAGE, André passed away at the Cité de la Santé, Laval on Friday, January 16, 2004 at the aged of 84 years, son of the late Alice Lefebvre and the late Dr Cyril Delage of Thetford Mines (Qc). He is survived by Simone Chouinard, his children, Michael (Vicki) of London, Brian (Ann) of Ottawa, Sandra of London, Shirley of Montreal and their mother Brenda Côté. He is also grandfather to Jason (Melanie), Darren (Tamara), Jennifer, Andrew, Timothy and Christopher; great grandfather to Alex, Lauren, Evan, Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Pierre (Rita) of Quebec. He was predeceased by his brother Dr. Marc Delage of Quebec, and sisters, Pauline Roberge of Quebec, Marguerite Ducharme of Connecticut, Claire Groleau and Monique Landry of Sherbrooke. Visitation will be held at the Armstrong-Rideau Funeral Home, 1640 Côte Vertu, Ville St-Laurent on Sunday, January 18, from 2-4 an 7-9. The service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 AM at the same address.

Brenda Glenn Walker (née Turnbull)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on November 16, 2003 at the New Infirmary, Halifax, N.S. at the age of 41, residing in Lower Sackville, N.S. Born in Montreal, Brenda was the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Miller) Turnbull. Brenda was a beloved and cherished wife, mother and devoted friend. Surviving are her loving husband, Derrick; daughters, Sharon and Denyse; son, Curtis; one niece and one nephew. Predeceased by her dear sister, Debbie. In addition to nurturing her family, Brenda was committed to helping others, especially those dealing with Crohn’s disease. Her efforts went global recently as she shared her wisdom and accumulated knowledge of Crohn’s with people in the U.S., Scotland, Ireland and Australia via the worldwide web. Brenda’s deep love for people prompted her to become a Sunday school teacher at Knox United Church, where she was a member. Her lifelong love for animals was fulfilled by caring for her menagerie at home and through her employment at the SPCA. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held from the Rideau Funeral Home Chapel, 4275 Sources blvd. (North of Hwy 40, exit 55), Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 2 p.m., visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations Crohn’s and Collitis Foundation (514) 342-0666 would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2003 at the age of 81 years, husband of Magdolna. Father of Susan, Steve and Magda, grandfather of Jessica, Ryan, Ashley and Wesley. With dignity after a courageous battle with cancer, Kay went home to be with our Lord on October 11, 2003. Beloved wife of Ronald Gamsby, devoted mother of Danny and Christine (Marcel) and cherished grandmother of Colin and Cynthia. Loving sister to the late Roseleen (late Ronald) and the late Thomas (Mary). Left to mourn are her sisters Ann (late Ronald) and Margret (late Billy) of Calgary, Alberta, her cousin Phyllis (Tommy and children) and nieces and nephews. The Cedar Park seniors will miss her sharp mind where she helped organize the membership and fun for others. Kathleen was devoted to children whose lives she touched over the years. Friends and family are invited for visitations on Tuesday October 14, from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Her life will be celebrated at St. John Fisher Parish, 120 Somerset, Pointe-Claire, on Wednesday October 15 at 11 a.m. Thence to be laid to rest at Rideau Gardens. Many thanks to the caring nurses at the CLSC (St-Louis) and the West Island Palliative Care Residence. A special thanks goes to Dr. Nancy Tozer and Dr. Ina Cummings whose support and devotion were invaluable to Kay and her family. A special appreciation to Mike (Dale) for his support and encouragement through a rush and difficult time. As per her wishes, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would greatly appreciated (514-693-1718). As your spirit soars to fly with the angels you will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives you have touched. Rest easy, you will always be in our hearts
