Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on Wednesday December 2nd, 2009 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Omer Mallette, and dear mother of Virginia (Andre Gingras), Morris, Karen (Larry McCourt), Charles (Celine René), Dennis (Madeleine Leclerc), and Helen (James Orr) and was pre-deceased by her son Richard Mallette. Dear grandmother of 12, great-grandmother of 10, and great-great grandmother of 2. Mabel also leaves to mourn, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond (819) 826-2502 , where friends may visit on Sunday December 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, and on Monday from 1 to 2 PM. A funeral serice will be held in the funeral home on Monday December 7th, 2009 at 2:00PM with the Rev. Valerie Vande Wiele officiating. Interment in the Ulverton United Church Cemetery.

Laroche, Donald
Donald Laroche of Sawyerville passed away on Saturday January 30, 2010 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Lillian Hover. Dear father of Harley (Gayle) of Campbellford Ontario and Bonnie (Alton) Fowler of Sawyerville. Grandfather of Dareth (Brenda) Fowler, Deanna (David) Parnell of Sawyerville, Troy (Barb) Laroche and Tina (Tom) Sykes of Georgetown, Ontario. Great Grandfather to Jacob, Emily, Abigail, Owen Laroche and Spencer Sykes of Georgetown, Kendra, Skylar, Zachary Parnell, Jake and Josh Henderson. Brother of Jean (Ken) Patrick, the late Rita Forgrave, late Wendell, late Fortis, late Hilda Laroche. Brother-in-law of Vera Hover. Leduc, Yvon
Passed away at the CHUS Fleurimont in Sherbrooke, on Thursday January 21, 2010, at the age of 49, Mr. Yvon Leduc, son of André Leduc and Jeannette Vermette. Yvon leaves to mourn, his children Christine (Terry Lloyd) and Michel (Aky Mikami), his grandchildren Trisha, Heidi and the late Katelyn and his loving companion Sylvie Fontaine. Yvon also leaves to mourn, his brothers Claude (Lyne Poulin), Alain (Isabelle Pelletier), Yves (Martine Boisclair), and Stéphane, his sisters Aline (Sylvain Viau), Guylaine (Claude Cadrin)and Sylvie (Jean Filion), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station, Sawyerville, 819-564-1750 , on Tuesday January 26, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday January 27, from 10 to 10:45 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am at the Notre-Dame-du-St-Rosaire Catholic Church in Sawyerville. Riley, John
Passed away on August 12, 2013 in his 97th year. Born in Wigan, England, son of John Riley and Edith Jarvis. Widow of the late Mary Harriet Flynn, and the late Gertrude May Goffrey. Predeceased by his son David Riley. John leaves behind his children: Peter (Jean) of Hyde England, Kenneth of Manchester England and all his Grandchildren and great-grandchildren in England. John will be greatly missed by Peggy and Leigh Grapes. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), where friends may visit on Monday August 19, 2013 from 1 to 2 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Father Pierre Doyon officiating. Interment in St-Michel Cemetery. A special Thank-you to the staff of the St. Francis Manor in Lennoxville.

Patton, Bruce
Passed away at La Maison Aube-Lumière, on August 22, 2012 in his seventy-fifth year. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Haseltine, daughter Sharon, (Paul), and their three children Will, Kath and Kim Merchant; his sister, Beverly (Henry Musty), brother-in-law, Ron Haseltine (Paulette), his cousin, Sandra Taylor, (Emmett) and dear son of the late William "Bill" Patton and the late Rosa Taylor Patton. Also to miss him are several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home in Lennoxville where friends may call from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 on Monday, August 27th. The funeral service will be held in the Lennoxville United Church on Tuesday, August 28th at 2 P.M. with Rev. James Potter officiating, following which the burial will be held in the Moe's River Cemetery. Donations to La Maison Aube-Lumière, 220 Kennedy North, Sherbrooke, QC J1E 2E7 or to the Lennoxville United Church Memorial Fund, 6 Church St. Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1S9 would be appreciated by the family.

Pye, James Stevens
1930-2012

On July 28 at the Asbestos Hospital after a long struggle with cancer. James Pye loving husband of Joan Blair, son of the late Lewis Pye and Nancy Davidson. He was the dear father of Glendon (Mary-Lee Pratt) and Steven (Lisa Ranger). Proud grandfather of Raven, Shawn and Mackenzie. James is also survived by his siblings Jane Ann (Laurent), Davidson (Marguerite) and Nancy Lee (late Richard). Predeceased by his sister Joyce (late Steuart). Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and families. Visitation on Friday August 3 at St. Augustine Church, Danville, 7 to 9 pm and Saturday August 4 one hour prior to the funeral service at 2:30 pm. A very special thank you to Dr. Michel Daniels and Josée Lacourse for their help and care. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to a charity of your choice.

Pashley Bradley, Ethel Joyce
Ethel Joyce Bradley passed away peacefully in Sherbrooke, Quebec on Wednesday, July 4th at the age of 96. She will be greatly missed by her children, Margaret, Michael (Suzanne), Richard (Anne) and Elizabeth, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the very caring staff at the CHUS Hotel Dieu in Sherbrooke. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Douglas Merrill beloved father of Marjorie (Daniel MacEachern), Melissa and Julie (Chris Driscoll) and cherished grandfather of Silver, Samara and Stryker. Doug is survived by his sister Dorothy of Ottawa and Ronald of Bulwer and by his aunt Jeanne (Justin Lowry). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), where friends may call on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Paterson Lockwood, Mary Louise
Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke on Friday, March 9th, 2012 in her 94th year. Mary Louise Paterson Lockwood, wife of the Late Murray Lockwood, is survived by her daughter Rita (Jean-Paul Abran), her grandchildren Bruce (Lyne), Linda (Laurent-Gilles) and Joanne (Normand), as well as 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Monday March 12th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday March 13th from 1 to 2 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 2 pm. Interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Parker Pitman, Thelma
At the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Wife of the late Douglas Pitman and dear mother of Neil and Karen (Rick). Thelma was the cherished grandmother of Charles and Iriyan. Thelma is survived by her brother Warren Parker (Faye) and was predeceased by her brother Sterling Parker (Gwen). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) where friends may call on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm followed by " a time of remembrance " at 3 pm. Peacefully at the Domaine de la Sapinière, on Monday January 9, 2012 at the age of 71. Barry Parsons was the loving husband of Wanda Greenshields and dear father of Rick (Jennifer Ward) and Robyn (Edward Jacklin). Barry was the cherished grandfather of Lillie and Grace Jacklin and Kaia Parsons. Barry is survived by his brothers Aylmer (Nancy), Gordon (Dorothy), Dale (Anne) and also by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, 588 Main St. Bury, where friends may call on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm followed by the funeral service at 3 pm. Rev. Viens, Marcel
Passed away at the C.H.U.S. Fleurimont on Wednesday, March 6, 2008, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Monique Massé and dear son of the late Rosario Viens and the late Jeanne Routhier. Cherished father of: Johanne (David Garner), Daniel (Carole Dame), Mario, France (Jim Nickel) and Robert; loving grandfather of : Isabelle, Jason and Gabrielle Viens, Matthew and Megan Garner, Geneviève and Pascale Nickel. Marcel will also be sadly missed by his brothers Raymond (Jeannine Vaillancourt) and Nelson (Jeannine Côté), along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Morehouse, Frank
Passed away peacefully November 22, 2010 at the Argyll Residence in Sherbrooke at the age of 95. Loving husband to Doris and supportive, caring father to Cheryl Hadlock (David), Debbie Parkhill (Jim), and Judy Miller. Will be dearly missed by grandchildren Darren, Shane (Marie-Pierre), Christopher (Blythe), Sarah, John and Mike; many friends and extended family members. Special thanks to the caregivers whose commitment and support eased the burden on family, and brought great comfort to Mush. Mush always enjoyed the many visitors that brightened his day. Janet Reynolds (nee MacKinnon) passed away peacefully in the presence of her Lord, at Grace Christian Home, Sherbrooke, Quebec in her 92nd year on October 28, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Reynolds. Devoted mother of Robert (Judy), Jim (Ursula), Grace and Mary (Don); cherished grandmother of Debbie (Geoff), Kim, Stephanie, Christina (Stephan), Kathryn (Wayne), Johanna, Adrian and Andrew; great-grandmother to Aiden, Chloe, Olivia, Tobias, Amanda, Alina and Tessa-Jane, also survived by her sister-in-law Jean Reynolds and her nieces. Her gentle, loving spirit and sense of humour will be missed. Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke. Muriel Bessie Moore, beloved wife of the late Edwin Basil Prescott and dear mother of Sidney (Donna) and much loved grandma to Ian. Muriel will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. MCVETTY, James Arthur 1928-2010 – On Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the age of eighty-two, Jim passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home in Sawyerville. Beloved husband for fifty years of Florence Bowker, cherished father of Lois (Fred), Kevin (Ivana), and Brent (Donna), adored grandfather of Tyson (Karie), Krista (Mike), Chelsea, Kirstie, Sofia, Caitlin, and Jessica, and treasured great-grandfather of Elliott, Delaney, and Brooklynn. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
