Hopps, Ida
Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Monday, April 27, 2009, in her 80th year. Cherished mother of: John, Marc (Colleen), and Nancy (Richard); Adoring grandmother of Morgan, Chelsea, Monica and Kevin; Ida will also be sadly missed by Paul along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her precious pets. The family will be present at St-Paul’s United Church in Magog, QC. to receive condolences, on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Doreen Moffat officiating. Interment will take place in the Pine Hill cemetery. As a tribute to her memory, donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Hayward Wraight, Shirley
Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home on Saturday March 21st, 2009, Mrs Shirley Wraight at the age of 81. Wife of the late Frank Wraight, and dear mother of Donna (Bruce), Beverly (Hans), Susan, Cathy (Marc), Wendy (Dennis), Melanie (Ron) and of the late Kevin Wraight. Shirley also leaves to mourn, her 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brother-in-law Kenny (Maggie), and sisters-in-law Maureen and Diane (Mike) along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond (819) 826-2502 where friends may visit on Tuesday March 24th from 2 to 4 PM, followed by the funeral service at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Andrew O’Donnell officiating. Interment in St-Anne’s Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond J0B 2H0 would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Cathy Frank, Carol Arbery and the staff of Norton 2 for their wonderful care.

Page Rublee, Jean
Passed away peacefully at the Grace Christian Home on Wednesday May 27th, 2009 in her 83rd year. Loving wife of 60 years to Ronald Rublee, and loving mother of Helen (Gary), Shirley, and Arthur (Laura). Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 2. Jean is also survived by her brothers, sisters, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graveside service will be held in the Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley, on Friday May 29th at 2:00PM, followed by a reception at the Grace Christian Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Bible Society or to the Grace Christian Home would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Royer, Alan
Passed away at the CHUS site Hotel Dieu on Thursday June 12 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer in his 52 nd year. Alan Thomas Royer, beloved son of the late James Royer and the late Margaret McHardy and was the cherished brother of Mary, George, Elaine and Jim. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 554 Main St., Bury where friends may call on Friday June 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 1- 1:45 pm followed by the funeral service at the St Paul's Anglican Church at 2 pm. Interment in the Bury cemetery. As memorial tributes, the family requests that donations be made to the Hotel Dieu Palliative Care Unit 580, rue Bowen Sud Sherbrooke, QC J1G 2E8 in appreciation of their compassinate care towards their brother.,

Roy Boisvert, Claudette
Passed away peacefully at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Friday, June 6, 2008, at the age of 59. Beloved wife of Leonard Boisvert and cherished mother of Sylvain (Carole), and Suzanne (Daniel). Dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of : Rene (Sonia), Jeanne D’Arc (Jean Paul), Richard (Judy), Michel (Micheline), Marthe (John), Florent (Lise), Jacqueline (Pierre) and Daniel (Gisele); Claudette will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Albertine (Joseph), Julienne (Simon), Antoinette (the late Leonard), Rolande (the late Gaston), Yvette (Lucien), Florianne, Jeanine (Maurice); along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. There will be visitation at the Sacred Heart Church in the presence of the ashes on Tuesday, June10, 2008 beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the service at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Mont. Ste. Pope, Willard
1949 – 2017

Willard Walter Pope passed away peacefully on May 21, 2017 surrounded by his family at the age of 67. Willard was born on December 7, 1949 in Sherbrooke to the late Weyland Pope and the late Alyce Davidson.

He leaves to mourn his sisters Lois (Richard Dunbar) and Gwen (Dale Rediker), many nieces, nephews and special friends Valerie Ashman, Pierre and Darlene Beaudin. He is preceded in death by his brother Royce and sister Shirley.

Respecting Willard’s wishes a private interment will be held at a later date.

Patrick, Kenneth
(1923-2017)

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Robert Patrick on May 17th, 2017 at the age of 93.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Jean, his children Steve (Pat) and Maureen (Marcus), his sister Muriel and many close nieces and nephews. We will all miss him greatly.

Ken served in The Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in WWII.

There will be no service held at this time.

Audrey (Parsons) Dougherty of Bury, Quebec, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2017 at CHUS Fleurimont, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Dougherty. Loving mother to Robert (Linda), Mavis (Alvin Matthew), David (Hèléne) and Joyce (late Larry O’Sullivan), (late Geoff Whitley). Proud grammie to Doug (Adrianna) and Tamara Quinn, Angela, Brent (Kathie), Julie-Anne and Phil (Alaina) Dougherty and Brendan O’Sullivan. Loving great-grammie to Brayden, Owen, Carson and Abby Dougherty. Cherished sister of Fay (late Lyle Rand). Dear sister-in-law of Harvey (Eleanor), Sylvia (late Herman) and Jimmy (Betty) Dougherty. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Lynn (Gwen), (Gladys), and Tom (Doris) Parsons, Una (Wesley Leavitt), Myra (Willard Mayhew), Ruby (Percy McKelvey), Lillian (Earl Thompson), and Nina (Herbert Rowell). Predeceased by her sisters-in-law and their spouses Carmen (John Clough), Ethel (Howard Smyth), Evelyn (Everett Davies), and Muriel (Gerald Benjamin).
Visitation will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 558 Main Street, Bury, Quebec on Friday June 2, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral service follows at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s and interment at Bury Cemetery, McIver Street. Family and friends are invited to a reception after at the Bury United Cultural Centre, Main Street, Bury, Quebec.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bury, Quebec J0B 1J0.

Patrick (née Desrochers), Aurella
(1933-2017)

Passed away at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, the 5th of February 2017 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of 67 years to Percy Patrick.

Survived by her children Lynda (Bob Blampin), James (Mary Beth Johnston), Patsy, Ricky (Lori Hill), and Michael, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends. Pre-deceased by her son Bob (Johanne Bergeron).

Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S, Richmond, on Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
