Macdonald Margaret (nee Hamilton) After a long and courageous battle, Margaret Amelia Macdonald nee Hamilton passed away on Friday June 19th, 2009 at the Maison Aube-Lumière, Sherbrooke, QC. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Douglas, her son Bruce, her daughter Sherry and her grandchildren Shawn, Sabrina, Jordan, Kristina, Scott and T.J. Margaret found great pleasure and pride volunteering with several organizations such as the West Island Volunteer Bureau, the Lakeshore Hospital on the West Island and the Lennoxville Community Aid. She enjoyed sports, playing golf and curling with her friends. Arrangements entrusted to the Cass Funeral Home, 819-564-1750 A funeral service will be held at the Lennoxville United Church, 6 Church St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), QC on Tuesday June 23, 2009 at 2 pm. Rev Jim Potter officiating. The family will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery. Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Henderson and cherished father of : Barry (Carol), Scott (Lena) and Randy (Niki); Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Precious son of Josephine and (the late Gordon Sr.) : Loving brother of: Marjorie (Eddie), Muriel (the late Herbie), the late Gordon Jr. (Shirley) Kenneth (Mildred), Isobel (Austin) and Gary (Claudette). Velmore will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honouring his wishes, there will be cremation, and no service. The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to the personnel on the 4th floor of the Magog Hospital and Dr. Whillelmy for the wonderful care given to Velmore, As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the Canacian Cancer Society, 3330 King Ouest, Bureau 130, Sherbrooke, QC. Mrs. Estelle Payeur passed away at the Coaticook Hospital on February 1, 2017, at the age of 90, formerly of Stanstead. Wife to the late Roger Marcoux and daughter of the late Philippe Payeur and the late Rosilda Paquet.
Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral Home, 545, Dufferin St, Stanstead, on Saturday February 11, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Sacré-Coeur Church in Stanstead.
Mrs. Payeur leaves to mourn her brother Joseph (late Georgette Demers) and her 2 sisters : Thérèse (Léandre Audet) and Irène (late Roger Boisclair). She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Gérard (late Émilia Cayer), Raymond (late Agathe Poulin), Lucille (late Donat Bédard), Jeanne d’Arc (late Émilien Rouillard), Marie-Rose (late Victor Lemay), Simone (late André Lamay) and Ludger (Gaétane Vanasse). She also leaves her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Marcoux family : Paul (Marie-Paule Gagnon), René, Robert (Denise Matteau), Clémence (Réjean Dupuis) (late Réjean Blouin) (late Aurèle Robert), Guy, Ti-Jean (Rachel Cournoyer), Lorraine (Benjamin Arroyo), Yvon (Francine Desaindes), Marcelle (Late David Arroyo), Claude, Gérald, Raynald, and Réal. She also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Sandra Palmer Watson of Ayer’s Cliff passed away suddenly at the CHUS-Hôtel Dieu in Sherbrooke on January 30, 2017 at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Stella Sylvret and the late Wallace Palmer.
She leaves to mourn her children Melanie and Jamie (Lea-Anne); her grand-children Evan and Erica, her sisters Joy Trayers and Anne White and their families, and many great friends near and far. She was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed.

MacLeod Smith, Evelyn
(1926 - 2015) Evelyn Smith of Cornwall Ontario, passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Daughter of the late Gordon and Mary MacLeod of Scotstown, Quebec. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Smith and loving mother of the late Karen Smith. Sister of the late Flora, Ann, John, Arnold, Murdo, Jessie, Christine, Agnus, and Catherine. Leaving to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6th at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 28 Second Street East, Cornwall, Ontario. Rev. Ruth Draffin officiating. Sadly we announce the passing of Betty Mueller Dickson on October 27, 2015, at the CHUS Fleurimont. Betty was predeceased by her husband C. Wynne Dickson. She is survived by her brother Hannes Mueller (Doris) and her sister Rosa (Beni Hassler), her sister-in-law Helena Mueller and many nieces and nephews in Switzerland. She leaves her stepchildren Karen Dickson-Ingimundson (the late David) and Robert Dickson (Carol) of Kingston, ON, her nephew Kurt Mueller (Linda) in South Carolina and their children Sacha, Michaela and Melissa. Betty will be missed by her many friends in Switzerland and Canada, especially Simon and Margot Langeveld of Melbourne, QC. Family and friends will be welcomed in the Wales Home on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2 p.m. to celebrate a life so well lived. Gwenith leaves to mourn her daughters Sheila (Bruce Blackley), Debbie (Sandor Goldstein) and Linda (Richard Beaulne); and her grandchildren Jonathan, Jeremy and Gillian Goldstein. Mrs. Anne Pibus passed away peacefully at La Maison Aube-Lumière in Sherbrooke, QC with her family at her side on Thursday, August 20th 2015 after a five month battle with Lymphoma. Loving wife of Wayne Pibus. Daughter of the late Ronald and Marjorie Miles. Dear mother of Heidi (Florian Charrette), Heather (Mathieu Larue), Lloyd, Lynda (Karl Fandrich) and Lois (David Thibert), and dear Grandmother of Jeanne, Benjamin, Lorianne Charrette, Jacob, Alyson, Philip Larue, Corey Fandrich, Samuel, Sierra, Kevin, Kayla Thibert. She also leaves to mourn her sister Sandra (Paul Fandrich) and children Stephen (Jillian), Sharon (Michael), Aunts and cousins as well as in-laws Winnie Pibus, Stanley Pibus (late Rena Aiken) children Troy and Tim, Brenda Mitchell (Robert), and George Pibus, and many friends and colleagues.
