French, Sydney

May 23, 1945 to July 8, 2014 Peaceably at the Wales Home in Richmond, on July 8, 2014, at age of 69, passed away Sydney French. Beloved son of the late Kenneth French and the late Joyce French, nephew of the late Clifford, Mary, Lois, Nelson, Westley, Winnifred, Sarah and of loving aunt Dorothy Ross of Cookshire. Cousin of James and Bonnie Wilkin of Cookshire, the late Shirley Wilkin, Edna and John Meagher of St-Thomas Ont., Arthur Wilkin of Windsor Ont., Sharon Ross of Picton Ont., Gladys Ross of Cherry Valley Ont., and other cousins and many many dear friends. Resting at the St-Peter's Anglican Church in Cookshire. The day of the funeral July 15, his friends may pay their respects from 1 to 3 pm, followed by the funeral service.The Rev. Canon Ronald West officiating. The interment will be in the Island Brook Cemetery, Island Brook, QC. In memoriam donations may be made to The Wales Home Foundation or The Children's Wish Foundation.

Fleury, Leo

After a long sickness on March 1, 2014 Mr. Leo Fleury passed away at the age of 88 years old. Leaving his first love and wife Laura Betts, also his children Owen (Caroline) and Pamela (Maurice) in dwelling. Also leaving many grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends. Mr. Fleury will be exposed at the hall under the St-Clement Church in Bishopton on Saturday the 8th of March 2014 from 1 to 3 pm followed by a celebration of Mr. Fleury's life. Rev. Wendy Evans officiating. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date in the Lakeside Cemetery Bishopton. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Forbes Cooper, Margaret

Peacefully on Friday, February 14th. Daughter of the late Samuel Forbes and Gertrude Alice Wark, born on August 23, 1927. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Everett Cooper. Loving mother of Jane(Allen Black) of Brockville, Victoria (Nicholas Stephens) of Mount Royal, David (Margaret Rynne) of Lowell Mass, Andrew (Cathy Lessard) of Ottawa, Grandmother to Emma, Andrew, and Laura Cridge, Christopher (Jessica), Kate and Caroline Stephens. Sara (Mark Kurczewski), Mary Fuller. Melissa and Meagan Fuller, Great grandchildren Abigail and Charlie Stephens, Declan, Colin, Brycen Kurczewski. The family wishes to thank the staff at CHUS who provided Mum with utmost respect, dignity, and care. A special thank you to Sharon Thompson for her compassion bestowed upon Mum. A celebration of Mum's life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center (Museum), 9 Speid St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville). Finn Laird, Lorraine

Passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu, on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Beloved wife of the late James Rupert Laird and dear mother of Bob (Claudia) and Lesley (Bob). Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Heather), Jim (Melaine), John (Samantha), Michael, Lindsay, Tristan and Sebastian and great grandmother of Carter, Ellie and Jayden. Interment at the Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of the palliative care unit at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu for the wonderful care given to our mom.

Fuller, Lloyd Gary

Fuller, Lloyd Gary Passed away peacefully, following a lengthy illness, at the CSSS Val St-Francois, Richmond, on Wednesday July 17th, 2013 at the age of 75. Loving husband of 51 years to Jeannette Anderson, and dear father of Ellen (Eric d’Allmen), David and Andrew Fuller (Samantha). Special Grandad of Alyssa, Emily and Julia d’Allmen, Sydney and Tamara Fuller. Gary also leaves to mourn his brother Terry Fuller (Ruth), along with many other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Sunday July 21st from 2 to 4 PM, and on Monday from 10 to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 22nd at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ste-Bibiane Cemetery.

Libby Burns, Thelma

Peacefully at the Grace Christian Home on Sunday September 28, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Thelma Grace Libby beloved wife the late Otis Burns and dear mother of Janet (Curtis Laroche), Dean (Lisa Webster) and the late Leigh. Thelma was the cherished grandmother of Jamie and Holly Laroche, Christina and Henry Paintin and Andrea and Corey Burns and great-grandmother of Chloe, Taylor, Colby, Miranda, Fred, Marie-Claude, Jeremy, Hillary, Sean, Connor and Logan. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), 819-564-1750 where friends may call on Tuesday September 30, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday October 1, 2008 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2pm Rev James Potter officiating. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery. As memorial tributes donations to the Dr. W. J. Klinck Foundation 1501 Campbell Avenue Sherbrooke, QC J1M 0C1) would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Fletcher Hall, Lillian

Lillian Hall passed away peacefully at the CHSLD in Magog, on February 26, 2016 in her 110th year. She was born in East Bolton on September 30th, 1906, daughter of the Late Herman Fletcher and the late Maude Gilman.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband Harry Hall and her son Donald Hall (Margaret McPherson). She will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Marilyn, Jayne, Kathy and Christy; her great grandchildren Ashley, Jenna, Lyndsay, Brandon, Megan and Erin; her great great grandchildren Xavier, Priya, Zander, Pablo and Declan as well as her step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers of the CHSLD Magog for the care provided to Lillian.

At her wishes, there will be no funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2016.

Learned French, Anna

Passed on peacefully to her Heavenly home on Friday September 19th, 2008 at the Grace Christian Home, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry French and loving mother of the late Joan (the late Elwood Rolleston) and Margaret (Duncan Eastman). Cherished "Nana" of Bonnie (Bill Muns), Andrea, Christopher (Karen Kramer), dearly loved great "Nana" of Alexander and Timothy. Predeceased by her brothers Alden, Arthur and Russell. She also leaves to mourn nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may call on Sunday September 21, 2008 at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station, Sawyerville, QC, from 7pm to 9pm. Monday September 22, 2008 at the Sawyerville Baptist Church from 1pm to 2pm followed by the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Jamie Cahill officiating. Interment in the Eaton Cemetery. Peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital Sherbrooke on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Dorothy Elizabeth Lord beloved wife of the late Arthur Daigneault and dear mother of Andre (Debra Danforth). Dorothy was the beloved aunt of Robert Daigneault. Lacasse Bergeron, Felicienne

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont Sherbrooke on July 15, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Mrs Felicienne (Lacasse) Bergeron beloved daughter of the late Hector Lacasse and the late Virginie Vachon of Saint Leon de Standon. Beloved wife of the late Roger Bergeron of Canton de Hatley. She leaves to mourn her children : Diane (David (Skip) Wright, France and the late Richard, Danielle and Carolle. She is the grandmother of Andrea, Todd, Kim, Cody, Max and the great-grandmother of three little ones. She is also survived by her sister Jeanne (feu Albert Beaudoin), Simone (feu Willy Girard) and Marie Berthe (George Pednault). Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, (Lennoxville), 819-564-1750 where friends and family may call on Saturday July 26, 2008 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment at St-Michel Cemetery Sherbrooke at a later date.

Mosher, Debra
1954 - 2016

Passed away at the CSSS Memphrémagog, on September 4, 2016 at the age of 62. She is predeceased by her parents Millard Mosher and Mandana Mosher.

Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral home, 545, Dufferin, Stanstead, QC, on Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

Debra leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: Dian (Tom), Janet (Lance), Wendy (Ronnie), Judy (Peter), Trudy (Tracy), Tammy (Brandon) and honorary brother Gord. She is predeceased by her brother David. She will sadly be missed by her nephews and nieces: Telsa (Nick), Melissa (Jean), Mandy (Sébastien), Brent (Liz), Nyla, Alexis, Miley, Haiden, Layla, Kaleb and Rylea. She also leaves to mourn many other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank the special caregivers of the Palliative care unit at the CSSS Memphremagog for the excellent care given to Debra.
