Dubuc Duffy, Katherine

In loving memory of Katherine (Kathy) Duffy (nee Dubuc), of Claresholm AB, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 9 2015. She is survived by: her husband Wendell; her brother Robert Dubuc; and her 3 children - Warren (Rita-Mae), Donald (Cori), and Shirley (Alan). She also leaves to mourn: 3 grandchildren - Clint, Nora, and Alyson and great-grandson Blake. She was predeceased by her parents May and Henry Dubuc, her sister Shirley, and brother Lawrence. No service is planned at this time. A graveside service and interment will be planned for Spring of 2016 in South Durham QC, time and date to be determined. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St James Cemetery South Durham, or Windsor Protestant Cemetery through Cass Funeral Homes.

Davio Lachance, Trudy

Trudy (Davio) Lachance passed away peacefully at the CSSS Memphremagog on May 1st, 2015 at the age of 63 years, loving wife of Denis Lachance from Stanstead. Beloved daughter of the late Erving Davio and the late Jean Kennedy. Dear mother of Mélanie and Joanne (Alexandre Montour) and proud grandmother to Morgan O'Rourke and to Emery Jane Aubé. She leaves to mourn her sisters Lauren, Tracey (Gaston Morin) and Robin (Lucien Noiseux). Dear sister to the late Ricky. She also leaves to mourn her sisters and brothers-in-law: André (Gisèle), Thérèse o.s.u., Lucien (Jeannine), Eugène (Suzanne), Jeannette (Gaston), Rita (Raymond), Henri-Louis (Lina), Marcel (Thérèse), Guy, Réal (Rollande), Raymonde (Réal), Hélène (André), Simonne (Claude) and Réjeanne. She was sister in law to the late Raymond. She also leaves to mourn numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, other parents and friends. The family will receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin Street in Stanstead, on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday May 23, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by internment at the Mont Sainte-Marie Cemetery. The family would like to thank the personnel of the CHUS, the CSSS of Magog and the CLSC from Stanstead, as well as her family doctor, Dre Anne Surprenant for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Lachance. Donations in Mrs Lachance’s memory to the Heart & stroke foundation, 1434, rue Ste-Catherine Ouest, bureau 500, Montréal, Québec, H3G 1R4, would be appreciated by the family.

Heath, Leslie

Leslie James Heath died at home on November 28th, 2008 in Hatley, Quebec in his 97th year. He was born in East Angus and lived most of his life in his beloved Townships. Veteran of the Second World War. Predeceased by his cherished wife Doris Guild. Survived by his loving step-children Sandra McDannold, Carolyn Kezar and Winslow Sampson (Diane) and 10 devoted grand-children and 20 great-grandchildren, his niece Sharon (Bill), his nephews Brian (Patricia), Forrest, (Elizabeth), Dale Heath and his sister-in-law Marguerite Heath.
No visitation and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Anglican Church in Hatley. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the adjacent hall.

1919 - 2008

Passed away peacefully at the Grace Christian Home on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Hatch and cherished mother of David (Tina), Rodney (Darlene), Linda (Francisco), Ernest (Kathy), Kathryn (Almon) and Sharon (Roy). Survived by her sister Winnie and sister-in-law Ann. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Alice Lamey, brothers Leonard and Jack, sisters Dais, Dick, Doll and May. Grandmother to Marlene (Alain), Tony, Justin, Melissa (Ed), Penny (Francois), Frankie, Andrew, Richard, Sandra (Gary), Laurie (Mike), Robert, Jennifer (Bradley), Steven (Crystal), and Megan. Great grandmother to Kim, Alex, Allison, Jake, Heather and Madison. Edna will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family also expresses special thanks to Doreen, Barbara and the staff of the Grace Christian Home for their care and compassion for Edna and her family. Suddenly, after a brief illness, at the C.H.U.S. Hotel Dieu on Thursday October 30, 2008 at the age of 80 years. May Margaret Falle beloved wife of the late Malcolm Herbert Hodge and dear mother of Carol (Jacques Morency), Brenda (Dareth Fowler), Milton (Valerie Nutbrown), Doris (Gary McBurney) Kathy (Ernest Hatch), Mark (Joyce Ord) and Murray (Cathy Alden). May is the cherished Grammie of 13, Sean (Lindsay) Robert (Jan), Joshua (Sarah), Jacob, Matthew (Em), Michael, Emily, Nicholas, Tyler, Andrew, Richard, Mitchell and Shelby and Great- Grammie of Malcolm and William Morency. May is also survived by her sisters, Anne and Pearl and her brother Carl, and was predeceased by her sister Alice, her brothers Clarence, Earl and Charlie, her brothers and sister- in -laws Raymond (Edythe), Alethea (Dave Taylor), Gordon (Brenda), Lawrence (Carol), Gwen (Ted Fleming) and was predeceased by Graydon (Laurel) and the late David. May will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and many friends. Dezan Mosher, Leila Doreen pPassed away at the CSSS Memphremagog on Monday, May 20, 2013. She would have been 90 years old on Oct 14, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Raymond Mosher and loving mother of Lorraine (Martin), Sandra (Daniel), Bert (Elizabeth) and Marsha. Leila will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jonathan, Jeffrey, Tammy, Crystal, Stacey, Jason, Curtis, Ramzi and Jaime, her 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. One of 15 children, surviving siblings are Ida Hoyt, Maurice Dezan, Roger Dezan, Marilyn Dezan, Ruby Buttemar, Edwin Dezan and Edwina Crowe. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough St. Ayer's Cliff, QC on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev Barbara Wintle officiating. Interment at the Ayer's Cliff Protestant Cemetery. Dubois, Claude

Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Friday, May 10, 2013, at the age of 72. Cherished husband of Geraldine McComb and adoring father of: Tracy (Lyle Hauff) and Denis. Loving grandfather of Caitlyn and Taylor. Claude will also be sadly missed by his sister Andrée (Bob Schoning), brothers-and sisters-in-law along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. There will be visitation at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, where friends and family may come to visit from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., also on Thursday, May 16, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by the service in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Barbara Wintle officiating. Interment will take place in St. Michel cemetery in Sherbrook. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the Palliative Care unit on the 3rd floor of the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Duquette, Marc

It is with sadness that we annouce the accidental death of Marc Duquette on March 6th, 2013 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of Louise Spooner and dear son of Marie-Anna Lambert and the late Yvon Duquette. Dear father of David and Samuel (Nadia Savard et Nathan). He leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters, André (Sylvie Lussier), Claire (Réal Ethier), Lise (Suzanne Lapointe) and Alain (Suzie Dupuis). Marc also leaves to mourn his mother -in-law and father- in-law Cécile Charest and Marcel Spooner as well as his brother-in-laws Pierre (Lucie Charbonneau) and Alain (André Boulanger) along with his nieces and nephews, Annie (François), Marjorie, Jean-Marc, Denis, Carolanne, Kevin, Marie-France (Chattan), Pierre-Luc (Judith), Marc-Antoine and Anne-Josée (Étienne) and many friends. The family invites you to celebrate Marc's life at the Golf Course in East Angus, 171 Angus North, East Angus, QC J0B 1R0 on Saturday April 27, 2013 from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late George Cronin and loving mother of: Diane (Leo Paul Lagueux), Pauline, Carole (Maurice Gilbert) and Madeleine (Gérald Surprenant); Cherished grandmother of; Daniel, Michèle Lagueux, Maryse and Joanne Distéfano, and Jennifer Young; great grandmother of:Léa, Enya, Antoyne, Cloe, Tommy, Lyana, and Liam. Dear sister of the late Beatrice (the late Jean Paul Garneau), the late Dorothée (the late Henri Blouin), the late Thérèsa (the late Joseph Simonu) and her brother Arvelin Duquette. Irene will also be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Rita (the late Olivier Cronin) Jeanne-D’arc Roy (the late Jean Paul Garneau), along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, where friends and family may come to visit on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. also on March 23 from 9:00 until 10:40 a.m, followed by the service in Ste. Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will take place in Mont.Ste.Marie at a later date. Dillon Matthews, Murdina

Passed away at the Wales Home on November 20, 2012, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's. Murdina was the beloved wife of the late Wallace Matthews and predeceased by her infant daughter Karen and will be sadly missed by her loving son Garnet and his wife Penny Hodge and their 4 children Victoria (Mathew Bollig), Daniel, Stephanie and Kimberly (Randal Eigenburger) and four great grandchildren Mathew, Nathaniel, Autumn and Victor Bollig. She is survived by her sister Dora (late John Bowen) and her brother Carl (Ruth) Dillon. A funeral service will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2 p m. Rev. Canon Ron West officiating and will be laid to rest at the Cookshire Cemetery. As a tribute to her memory, donationsmay be made to the Wales Home, 506, Rte 243 N.
