Beloved husband of the late Gladys Ashman, Dear son of the late Elgin Haskell Sr. and the late Gertrude Joslyn. Loving father of: Lynn (Danny), Paula (David), Norval (Joyce), and Wayne (Becky); Cherished grandfather of: Kylee, Tanya, Kimberley, Jack, Pam, Jimmy, Anthony, Richard, Jessica, Jonathan, and Jeremy; sonny will also be sadly missed by his 12 great-grandchildren along with his brother Wallace and sister Alice. many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends./He was predeceased by his son Chris. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead 819-876-5213 where friends may visit on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 7:00 t0 9:00 p.m. and also on Sunday January 30, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel. Stephen leaves behind his wife Marge (Guadagni) Heggison and his children Katie (Joe Hamel), Robert (Sarah Lebeau) and Stephen (Marie-Josée Compagna). Beloved son of Anita (Ste-Croix) and the late John Heggison. Brother to Thomas Heggison (Anita Lemieux). He leaves to mourn his mother-in-law Esther (Archambault) and the late William J. Passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu in Sherbrooke, on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the age of 62. Dear son of Gordon Herring and the late Grace Herring. Father of Scot, Pepper and Shelby. Doug will be sadly missed by his brother Brian and his sisters Rosemary and Elizabeth. Loving mother of Mildred (Lewis Sabounghi), Bainsville, ON, Valerie (Stephen Hodge), Ulverton, QC, Irma (Jean-Pierre Dostaler), Ottawa, ON, Lucille (Charles Hodge) Richmond, QC, Charlene (Keith Coote) Georgetown ON, and Teresa Hunt of Georgetown ON. Grace also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, Carolyn (Mark), and Cynthia (Toby) Lavigne, Andrea, Melanie, and Darren Hodge, Marc, Shawn and Kyle Dostaler, Pamela (John), and Christine (Patrick) Hodge, Jordan (Noelly), and Jeremy (Amanda) Coote, and Victoria (Adam) and the late Rachelle Hunt. Grace also leaves to mourn, her great grandchildren; Jake, Luke, Griffin, Julius, Rose, Hayden, Jonas, Madeleine, and Nora, her sister Vera (the late Roy Hughes), her brother Irwin (Jacky) and was predeceased by her brother Everett (the late Rose). She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Passed away suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont on Wednesday March 27, 2013, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Théberge and cherished mother of : Pierre (Lise Rousseau), Marc, Guy (Michèle Salvail), Lise (Denis Carbonneau), Lucie (Réné Dubois), Marcel (Julie Gagnon), and Paul (Rachel Marquis); adoring grandmother of Gabriel, Marie-Pier, Antoine, Philippe, Youri, Émile, the late Guillaume, Maxime, Éloise, Camille, Katherine, Charles and Samuel. Irene will also be sadly mieed by her 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is the sister of the late Ruth Laberee, the late Maurice Laberee (the lae Evelyn) the late Richard Laberee, Laurent Laberee, Rita Laberee (the late Owen Quillinan), Jeannette Laberee (the late Réal Montreuil) and Robert Laberee (Bonita). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead on Monday, April 1, 2013 where family and friends may come to visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. LeBrun, Louis David
Passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2013, in the company of people who love him, Buddy LeBrun at the age of 90. Buddy will be long remembered by many whose lives he touched. Humour, compassion and generosity filled his life. Loving husband of 66 years to Lorna Howlett, and beloved father of Larry and Louise LeBrun. Dear Grampa of Lisa, Lana, Nicholas and Matthew. Buddy was predeceased by his only brother Maurice LeBrun, and will be sadly missed by his niece Francine and his nephew Michel, along with many other dear friends. A celebration of Buddy’s life will be held at the Wales Home, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond, QC, on Monday April 1st at 2:00 PM. Lockwood, Dorothy (nee McNeill)
Peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, Dorothy May Lockwood passed away following a brief illness, in her 103rd year. Loved wife of the late Harold M. Lockwood, Dorothy is survived by her children David (Pickle Lake ON), Virginia (Ralph) Burt (Perth ON) and Andy (Darlene) (Ottawa ON). Grandmother to Lisa (John) Morison, Kimberly (Jim) Hambleton, Thomas (Crystal) Lockwood, Patricia Burt and Stephen (Sylvia) Burt. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Dorothy, born in Beverly, Massachusetts, was the only child of the late David McNeill and the late Mary O'Neil. She migrated to Canada in her early 20's to live with her cousin and best friend, Doris McNeill Olney in Montreal. After her marriage, Dorothy became a long time resident of Drummondville and was very active in St. George's Anglican Church.Dorothy spent her last years as a resident of the Wales Home where she received loving care from their wonderful staff. Special thanks to Pam Brock for all that she did for Dorothy. The family also thank Ann and the late Ron Belden for all their many acts of love and kindness. Visitation will be at 1pm March 16th in the Church of St. Agustine, Danville followed by the funeral service at 2pm. with the Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Reception to follow in the Church hall. At the CHUS Fleurimont, on February 26th 2013, passed away in her 70th year, Phyllis Lloyd, loving wife of Olier Loiselle, daughter of the Late Curtis Lloyd and the Late Iris Wood. Honouring her wishes, a graveside service will take place in the spring. Mrs. Lloyd leaves to mourn her husband Olier, her children Evelyn (Yvan Gauthier), Paul (Cheryl Colby), Lisa (Jean-Nil Charest), and Marco (Sylvie Blanchard), her grand-children Bianca (Christopher Watson), Cassandra (Ray Fowler), Priscilla (Marc-Olivier), Roger, Gabriel, Emanuel and Annabel as well as her great grand-children Jordis, Weston, Jacob and Haley. She also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters Sheila, Audrey, Doris, Curtis Jr., Larry, Ronald, Roland, Charles, Roxanne and Craig. She was predeceased by her brothers Norman and Raymond. Mrs. Lloyd also leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law and her brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, and her dear friend Agnes King. Loving husband of the late Dorothy Hughes, and beloved companion of Florence McIver. Dear father of Sandra (Alec Templeton), the late Philip Wayne, Brian (Norma Rick), Bruce (Jacinthe Hinse), Heather (the late Albert Joern) and Brent (Brigitte Hinse). Cherished grandfather of Derek, Andrew, Kimberly, Erika, Travis, Jamie, Andrea, Erin, Joshua, Justin and Jason. Ernest also leaves to mourn, his great grandchildren; Samantha, Nikolas, Celine, Albert and Olivia, along with his brothers and sisters; Diana, Lois, Norman (Elva), Marion, Barbara, Raymond and Linda (Doug), along with his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Passed away peacefully after a long battle surrounded by her family on December 7, 2008 at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC. Eileen Hayes beloved wife of Paul-Emile Babineau and the late Stanley Weare, dear mother of Milton (Carmen Samson), Jocelyne (Claude Lefebvre), William (Céline Arsenault), Sidney (Diane Lafrance) and Shirley (Rejean Moreau). Eileen also leaves to mourn many grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, her brother Merlin Hayes (Louise Boisvert), her stepmother Rita Hayes, her half-sister Dyna and half-brother Steven Hayes, her sister-in-law Doris Weare and Monique Babineau and two brother-in-laws Lloyd McCourt and Fred Batchelor. She also leaves to mourn Paul-Emile's children and grandchildren. There will be visitation on Friday, December 12th, 2008 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm in the Holy Trinity Church of Kirkdale with the Rev Andrew O'Donnell officiating assisted with Rev Reginald Jennings. Peacefully on November 2, 2015 at the CHSLD - East Angus in her 79th year. Daughter of the late Lee Dezan and the late Annie Yetter. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Buttemer. Loving mother of Sharon and Michael. She leaves behind her grandchildren Laura, Melanie, Roxanne, and Philip. Ruby will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Mahee-Lee and Charles who were her pride and joy. Ruby also leaves her brothers and sisters Ida Hoyt, Maurice Dezan, Roger Dezan, Marilyn Dezan, Edwin Dezan, and Edwina Crow, who will miss her dearly, and her sister-in-law Tillie who also had a warm place in her heart. A graveside service will be held on November 12 at 3 pm at St.John's Cemetery (near Batleys Pond) in Brookbury, QC.
Davidson, Iona
January 31, 1930-October 9, 2015 Iona passed away peacefully at the Wales Home surrounded by her nephews and nieces. Beloved daughter of the late John and Annie (George) Davidson. Predeceased by her sisters Ila Currie (Gerald) and Wilma McElravy (Fred). Iona will be sadly missed by her nephews and nieces and many friends. At Iona's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Wales Home, Richmond or the Riverside Cemetery, Kinnear's Mills, would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at the Wales Home for the wonderful care given to Iona.
