Suddenly at the Hôtel Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, Que on Sunday March 28, 2010. Helen Beatrice May Friend beloved wife of the late James William Anderson in her 83rd year. Dear mother of Sandra (Jim), Douglas (Nancy), Shelley (Mike) and Kathy (David). She is survived by her sisters Barbara (Maurice), Hazel (Earl) and Audrey (Alan). She was the dear grandmother of Nicholas, Ryan, Jordan, Brittany, Jason and Courtney and the great grandmother of Payden. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) (819) 564-1750 where friends may call on Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Passed away at the White House in Stanstead on Sunday, February 20, 2011, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest and cherished mother o John of BC and the late Paul. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Marlington Cemetery.
McGee, Hazel
Peacefully at the Connaught Rest Home on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 in her 93rd year. Hazel Elizabeth McGee was the beloved sister of Evelyn (the late James Joyce) and Dorothy (the late Garth Montgomery). Cherished aunt of Brian (Nancy), and also to her great-nieces and nephews, Brent, Jordan and Danica Montgomery, and Mark and Kim Sarasin. She was pre-deceased by her brother Ashton and sisters Doris (Pierre Sarasin) and Irene (the late Francis Paige). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) 819-564-1750 , where friends may visit on Wednesday October 15th, 2008 from 1 to 2 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Farfan, Harry Wickham
1961-2011
Died suddenly in Cobourg, Ontario, at the age of 49. Predeceased by his father Dr. Harry Farfan, he leaves behind his loving mother Aurelie, his sisters Leslie (Terence Hawes) and Penny, his brothers Frank (Jean Dalton), James (Aura Andrade), Matthew (Josiane Caillet) and Gareth (Amanda Gleave), all of whom loved him dearly. Harry was the beloved uncle of nieces Aurelie, Lily, and Sophia, and nephews Tom, Mark, Terry, Eric, Nando, and the late Paul. Harry was a kind-hearted man who loved his family deeply. He was a talented designer, artist, musician and composer. More than anything, he loved to entertain others with his fabulous wood, snow and sand sculptures, his rocket shows, fireworks displays, art work, songs and guitar playing. He has left us with an amazing creative legacy. Harry will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, Jan.12, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday afternoon, Jan. 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Cass funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13, in Ste. Thérèse de l’enfant Jésus Church, Beebe, QC. at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment in Marlington Cemetery in Ogden, QC.

June 14, 1945 - December 27, 2010
With great sadness our cherished mother, grandmother and best friend has departed us after a long and courageous battle. Surrounded by her loving family at the Palliattive Care Center at the Santé et Service de Memphremagog. She is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law who were there until the end. Maryse (Lance Dubois) and Nathalie (Walter Bridges). Lisette will also be sadly missed by her 6 adoring grandchildren: Kyle, Adam, Damien, Ashley, Nathan and Kassandra; along with her former spouse Roland Maclure, 7 sisters, 5 brothers, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cherished daughter of Rose-Hélène Richard and the late Charles Edouard Fortin. she was predeceased by her brothers Julien and Jean-Pierre. In honor of Lisette, a memorial service and celebration of her life will be held in the spring at St-Ludger de Beauce. The family would like to thank the staff of the Santé et Service de (Stanstead) Memphremagog for their compassion and great home care. Also the 3rd floor Soins Palliative in Magog for all the wonderful care they provided through this difficult time. Passed away at La Providence Hospital in Magog, Quebec on Friday September 26, 2008 at the age of 77 years. John Edward Bayne MacDonald dear father of Joy (Alain Carignan) and David MacDonald, he was also the cherished grandfather to Ivon, Brennan and Torin.

Passed away at the Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane Alberta, on Friday, August 1, 2008, at the age of 92 years. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Charles (Suzanne) of Calgary, Alberta and Gerald (Sandra) of London, England; five grandchildren, Cindy, Mike, Norma-Jean, Scott and Tanya; one great-grandchild as well as her brother, David Wood and nieces and nephews. Beloved husband of the late Jean Kennedy and cherished father of Trudy (Denis), Lauren, Tracey (Gaston) and Robin (Lucien). Dear grandfather of Mélanie, Joanne, Eric, Patrick, Dominique, Samuel, Richard, Anne-Marie and Jean-Sébastien. Great grandfather of Morgan, Emery, Erika, Jacob and Ayva. Erving was predeceased by his son Ricky. He also leaves to mourn his sister Hazel Davio (the late Carroll Westover) along with many relatives and friends. Passed away peacefully in his sleep into the Loving Arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the age of 97. Harold Archibald Donaghy, beloved husband of the late Beatrice Ellis and dear father of Beverly Sousan and Olive (Keith Ort) and step daughter Bunny Tiley, and is survived by his sister Alma Quinn. Cherished grandfather of Crystal and Maia Sousan and Kelly (Rob Dykstra), Carrie (Ivan Gosselin) and Steven Harris and step grandfather of Jeff and Jennifer Mahoney, and great grandfather of Andrew, Joshua, Liam, Elaina Dykstra and Riley and Hailey Gosselin and step great grandfather of Jay, Leila, Matthew and Owen Mahoney. Passed away in the presence of her loving family at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Kenneth Powers and the late Clarence Flanders. Cherished mother of Betty (the late Dougy), the late Victorine (Arthur), and Gail (Peter). Lillian will also be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dundin, Donald
Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Hotel Dieu on July 12, 2010 days after his 103rd birthday. Born in and long time resident of Lennoxville, Donald Dundin son of the late Howard and the late Margaret (Rankin) Dundin. He had served in the Second World War mainly stationed in Halifax, NS. He had then been employed with A and P for 32 years, then later for Marche Raymond for 19 years until his retirement. Donald is survived by daughters; Nancy Cameron (Glen), Glace Bay, NS., Judy Dundin, Hemmingford QC.; grandchildren Donald Cameron (Sharon) Halifax, NS., Bruno Dominque, Montreal, QC., Tammy Dominque, Hemmingford, QC; 8great-grandchildren; several cousins. He was predeceased by wife Louise (Broderick); sister Margaret. Arrangements under the care of Cass Funeral Home 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) where visitation will be held Thursday July 15, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m., Friday July 16th 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment in St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
