Fitton, Michael

With great sorrow, we announce the death of Michael John Fitton, born in Sault-Sainte-Marie, Ontario and living in Fitch Bay, Québec. His children, Cassidy Breeze, (Mélanie-Rose Trépanier), Yanoé Cedar, Jasmin Oshan, their mother, Marie-Claude Roy and his companion Sue Davies wishes him deep peace. His mother Jeanette, his brother Paul, (Julie), his brother Jim, (Michelle) and his sister Vicky, (Doug Hewitt) are also in profound mourning. The visitation will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough Street in Ayer’s Cliff on Sunday July 22 from 14h-16.30 and 19h-21h. The service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in North Hatley on Monday July 23 at 16h. a potluck supper and an evening tribute will follow at the Way’s Mills community Center. Fowler Perkins, Norma

Passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday June 2nd 2012, Norma Perkins (nee Fowler) at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late John Perkins, and special aunt to John, Melissa (Stéphan), Sonia (Alex), and Ricky (Marilyne). Dear Mammy to Dylan, Alex, Elyse and Ryan Robidas and Nicholas and Meghan Léonard. Dear sister of Royce (Margaret) and Gwen (the late Victor Betts), and is pre-deceased by her sisters Marguerite (the late Albert), Ada (the late Ken), Marion (the late Jim), Shirley (the late Robert) and her brothers Neil (Shirley) and Art (Frances). Norma also leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Rita Loiselle along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Resting at the Windsor Funeral Home 310 St-Georges, Windsor, where friends may visit on Tuesday June 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, and on Wednesday from 1 to 2 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday June 6th at 2:00PM with Mr. Ellis Clark officiating. Interment in the Windsor Protestant Cemetery. Donations to the Quebec Lung Association, 855 rue St-Catherine Est., Bureau 222, Montreal QC H2L 4N4, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Fraser, Alexander

Peacefully at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the age of 76. Ian was the loving brother of Donald (Lise). Ian is also survived by his friend of many years Margaret Moore. In respect of Ian's wishes, cremation was held. There will be no visitation or service. Interment at a later date.

Fowler Jameson, Marion

Passed away peacefully at the Foyer Richmond, on Thursday April 19, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Neilson (Jim) Jameson. Pre-deceased by three infant children. Tootie is survived by her sisters, Gwen (late Victor Betts), Norma (late Ted Perkins) and her brother Royce. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley Fowler, Margaret Fowler, and Frances Fowler. Predeceased by her sisters Marg (the late Albert Smith), Ada (late Ken Barrie), Shirley (late Robert Pariseau) and her brothers Neil and Art Fowler. She will be fondly remembered by her 23 nieces and nephews, many great, and great great nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Monday April 23rd from 7 to 9 PM, and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Please note; a W.I. service will be held on Monday at 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday April 24th at 10:30, with Mr. Glen Sampson officiating. Interment will take place in St-Andrews cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s society would be greatly appreciated by the family

Peltier York, Mary

At the CSSS Memphremagog, on Monday, November 28th 2005 in her 92nd year. Betty Peltier, beloved wife of the late John A. York M.C., Mary Elizabeth was the last surviving daughter of the late Alfred Romuauld Peltier and his wife the late Sarah Webb and sister of the late Ruth and Jack Peltier, she is survived by her cousins John and Robin Gammell. A memorial service will be held at the North Hatley United Church on Friday, December 2nd 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Lynda Harrison officiating. Interment in Reedsville Cemetery. Please note the family will be at the church 1 hour prior to the service. As memorial tributes, donations to the North Hatley Library, North Hatley, J0B-2C0, would greatly be appreciated by the family. After extended illness, passed away at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, on Saturday, November 19th 2005 in his 78th year, beloved husband of Doris Maskell, dear father of Gail (Bruce Olson), Almon, Nancy (the late Gerry St. Jean), Ronald and Cindy (Dan Rynka). Devoted grandfather of Kristoffer, Jason, Nicholas, Taunya, Joshua, Alexandra and Megan. Honoring the wishes of the deceased a private family burial will be held in the Cookshire Cemetery following his cremation. Cherished grandmother of David and Ricky Johnston, and Ronald (Wendy) and Cheryl Smith, and great grandmother of Alexander and Abigail Smith and of Nina Johnston. Helen is survived by her 3 sisters, Evelyn (the late Norman Rollins), June (Origéne Boudreau) and Sybil (Gaston Gauvin), and is pre-deceased by her brother Ted and her sister Dorothy. Helen also leaves to mourn several nieces, nephews and friends. In respect of Helen's wishes, cremation was held, to be followed by a funeral service in the spring. Predeceased by her sister Betty Crouse and sisters-in-law Winnifred Dawson and Frances Doloff. Webb, Margaret Ann (nee Healy)

Passed away suddenly in Abbotsford BC, on Sunday September 14th 2014, Margaret Ann Webb (nee Healy), formally of Danville QC, at the age of 73. Margaret leaves to mourn, her 3 children; Paul, Daniel and Laura and families, including her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her extended family in western Canada. Margaret was the dear sister of Mabel (the late George Thorne), the late Kenneth Healy (Harriet), Kathleen (late Michael Baker), Helen Healy, Donald Healy (Esther), Dorothy (Ronald Evans) and Robert Healy (Nancy). A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 32823 Landeau Pl., Abbotsford, BC on Friday September 19th between 3 and 6 PM, followed by the interment of her ashes in Vancouver, next to her late husband Charles Webb, at a later date. Peacefully at the Domaine de la Sapinière East Angus, Que., on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the age of 93. Florence Jorgenson beloved wife of the late Tom Lowe and loving mother of Brian (Brenda Sylvester) and Linda (late Bill Sylvester). Cherished grandmother of Cathy and Kelly Lowe, Casey, Tammy, Dawn and Chris Sylvester. Great grandmother of sixteen and one great great granddaugher. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, Bury, where friends may call on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, March 28th from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Lynn Dillabough officiating. Interment in the Bury Cemetery at a later date. Florence's family would like to extend a special thank you to Pierre Lemieux and the other staff at the Sapinière for wonderful care given to her.
