It is with great sadness that the family of Marcus Cox announce her passing peacefully in her sleep at home on the night of May 5. Marcus was born in Antwerp, Belguim, of Dutch parents. She and her family fled before the Nazi invasion of Holland and Belguim and spent the World War11 years in England, where she was educated. Marcus emigrated to Canada in 1952 and became a proud and commited Canadian citizen. She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, David; daughters, Mercy, (Rick), Vicki (Nathan), and Sarah (Rob); sister Eli (Rotterdam); nephew and nieces, Tim (Leiden) Clien (Rotterdam) and Marcy (Canada); eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at St. George’s Anglican church, Georgeville, Quebec, on Friday, May 10, at 2:00 p.m,.followed by a reception at the Murray Memorial Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Passed away at the CSSS Memphremagog, on April 26th 2013, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gérard Doherty of Stanstead. She leaves to mourn her children: Gloriann Stevens of Newport VT, Larry (Ghislaine) from Stanstead, Guy of Newport VT and Jerry (Cindy) from Stanstead; her grandchildren: Donna (Joseph) of Elmira NY, Erika (Brian) of Atkinson NH, Nicholas (Sasha) from Stanstead, Casey of Stanstead and Travis from Newport VT; her great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Joey, Reid; her sister: Joyce (Luc Martel); her sisters-in-law, Beatrice (late Pat Nadeau), Geraldine (late Gordon Harrison) and Rita (late Georges Bellavance) and along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Wilfrid and Richard and her sister Catherine (late Hurbert Goodwin), and her sister-in-law Thérèse (Maurice Demers). Funeral service and interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Loving father of Brian (Madeleine Fauteux), Barry (Suzanne Brown), David (Cindy Loomis), Stephen (Joy Soroka), and Wayne (June Hodge). Cherished grandfather of Bridget (Freddy), Gina (Frank), Justin, Philip, Brittany, Krystal (Jason), Melissa, Jessica (Will), Tabitha (Craig), Shawn (Faye), Jade (Riley), Kayle (Alexa), Kayne (Jamie), Kayla (Brandon), Bryson and Ryder. Treasure great grandfather of Arianna, Eva, Kaiden, Sianna, Jake, Levi, Jace, Makayla, Brooklyn, Grayson, Layla, Carmyn, Sawyer and Savanah. William also leaves to mourn his sisters and brother, Jean (Eugene Naylor), the late Phyllis (Stewart Deacon), the late Raymond (the late Pearl Allison) and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Albert (Bev Heath) Cairns and Roberta (the late Donald) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home in Lennoxville, on Friday, April 5th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 2 pm at the Waterville United Church. Peacefully at the Maison Aube-Lumière, Sherbrooke on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the age of 71 years. Joyce was the beloved daughter of the late David Nicholson and the late Ruth MacDonald. Joyce was the wife of the late Joseph Rankin and the loving companion and best friend of Paul Emile Lortitch, step mother to Lucie, Denise, Lise and Benoit (Julie) Lortitch. She is survived by her sister Gail (Dale Farrell) and brother Vernon and was predeceased by her sister Wenda and brother Wesley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Gisla Cemetery, Milan Que on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2pm. Passed away following a battle with cancer, on Monday May 3rd, 2010 at the age of 52. Loving spouse of Christine Morrison, and dear father of Mark (Caroline), Kevin (Marie) and Jeffrey. Loving Mama of Grady, Gaylin, Nathanial, Miranda, Frankie, Rick, Shawn, Cassandra, Jeffrey, Eli, the late Kluanie, Melanie, Amanda, Victor, Shania and Justine, and great grandmother of Rory, Ashton and Dawn. Meva also leaves to mourn, her sisters Jane (the late Roger Lambert), Clarisse (the late John Rowsell), her brothers Gaston (Betty), Donald (Blandine), Raymond (Emelie) and Baptiste (Eleanor), along with her sister-in-law Diane (Ghislain Degrâce), and brother-in-law Edgar (the late Rita). She was the daughter of the late James Earl Nutbrown and the late Florrie E. Wilson. She was the the sister of the late Weston Nutbrown. Iris will be missed by many cousins and dear friends.
