Mackey, Brian

Passed away peacefully at the Valleyfield Hospital on Sunday August 26, 2012 at the age of 77. Brian was the beloved husband of the late Rosaleen Armitage (Lisnaskea, Ireland). He leaves to mourn, his 3 brother's-in-law from Ireland; Barry (Marie), Jim (Joan) and Brian (Dympna), along with many cousins, and his life long friends in Hudson QC. A memorial service will be held at St-Mary's Anglican Church, Hudson QC, on Saturday September 1st at 11:00 AM, and will be followed by a graveside service at the Westbury Cemetery, East Angus QC, on Saturday September 8th at 1:00PM with Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Memorial donations may be made to NOVA Hudson, 465 Main Rd., Hudson QC J0P 1H0 or to St-Mary's Anglican Church, 261 Main Rd., Hudson QC J0P 1H0. Arrangements entrusted to Cass Funeral Homes, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) 819-564-1750

MacIntosh Perkins, Joyce

Passed away suddenly on August 6, 2012 at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke. Loving wife of the late Alfred (Al) Perkins, formerly of Danville, QC, and recent resident of the Wales Home, Richmond. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Agnes MacIntosh, her brothers Donald and Stuart and her sister Ethel Alguire. She is survived by her sister-in-law Edna MacIntosh of Waterloo, ON, her brothers-in-law, Russell Perkins of Kingston, ON and Chester Perkins of Richmond, along with several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 148 Daniel Johnson St., Danville, where friends may visit on Wednesday evening, August 8th, from 7 to 9 PM and on August 9th from 10:30 AM, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM, conducted by her nephew, Rev. James Perkins. Interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond J0B 2H0 would be appreciated by the family.

Mosher, Candy
(1974 - 2012)

Passed away unexpectedly at La Baie des Chaleurs on Friday, July 27th 2012, resident of Sherbrooke. She will be missed by her mother Jöhanne Dubois (Laurent Dion), her father Lyle Mosher (Peggy Statton), her beloved daughter Pamela, her loving companion Sébastien, her brother Shilo (Christine Milette) and her sisters Cléo (Patrick Thivierge), Jessica, Tina, Kimberly. She also leaves to mourn her grandparents, parents-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will take place at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke on Saturday August 4th from 12:00 to 3:00, followed by the funeral service 3:00 at the funeral home with Father Pierre Doyon officiating. Donations to the S.P.A. de l’Estrie, 1139, boulevard Queen Victoria, Sherbrooke (Québec) J1J 4N5 would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Maclure Lang, Fernande

Passed away suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on Tuesday July 17th 2012 at the age of 80. Loving wife of 56 years to Stanley Lang, and beloved mother of Bert (Jeanie), Linda, Guy (Beverly), Joane (Sam) and Eric (Diane). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Katie), Michael (Isabelle), Ashley, Sylvain, Cassandra, Annik, Natasha, Mark, Nicholas, Jacob, Nathan, Abby, Alex, Christian and Jackson and great grandmother of Olivia and Sarah. Fernande also leaves to mourn, her sister Margaret (Fernand Gaudreau), her brothers Fernand (Annette) and Paul-Emile (Marthe) along with many other nieces, nephews and dear friends. A funeral Mass will be held at Sacré Coeur Catholic Church, Stanstead, on Friday July 20th at 2:00PM followed by the interment of ashes in the Mount Ste-Marie cemetery. The family would like to thank Hank and Bruno of the Stanstead Ambulance service for their professionalism, along with Mrs Desbien and Ms Lyonnais for their assistance.

Miller, Dale

It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our Dad on July 2nd 2012. Dale Miller left us peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Scotty Miller and father to Liz McCallum (Dann), Evelyn, Mitch(Lori), Lois (Paul) and grandfather to 11 wonderful grandchildren and a special great grandchild, as well as a brother to Rev. Carlton (Joan) Miller of Sakatoon, Sask. and the late Vivian. Visitation will take place at the Cass funeral home, 900 Clough street, in Ayer's Cliff where friends and family may visit on Thursday, July 5th in the evening between 7 and 9pm. The service will be held at The Hatley United church at 2pm on Friday, July 6th. In lieu of flowers donations to the Griffin Cemetery, 7025 chemin Griffin, Ogden, QC J0B 3E3 would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Martin, Venerable Stuart

(July 8, 1926 – May 3, 2012) died peacefully at the Residence of the Memphremagog Health and Social Services Center. Beloved husband of Mary Gilmour and loving father of Janet (Craig) and Michael (Andrea). Proud grandfather of Tara, Erin, Kerry and Matthew. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Susan (Peter) and brothers-in-law David and Alan (Rose Ann). The family wishes to thank the community of Georgeville for their love, kindness and support.Also the staff of the CHUS, as well as the CSSSM for their loving kindness and excellent care. A memorial service will be take place on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m.. at St. George's Anglican Church. A brief visitation will be held in the Church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the St. George's Anglican Church in Georgeville, Quebec or the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund.

Hunt Bennett, Marilyn

Passed away at the Scarborough General Hospital, Scarborough, ON on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the age of 65. Loving and devoted wife of 44 years to John Bennett, and loving mother of Darin (Barbara) and Donna (Peter MacIver). Grandmother to Ian Carlsen, and loving daughter of Eva Hunt (late Clarence Hunt). She was also adored by her brother Garth Hunt (Suzanne) and their children Jason and Michele. A graveside service will be held at the Bury Protestant Cemetery on Saturday September 17, 2011 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Wendy Evans officiating.

Mastine, Debbie

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on Tuesday April 17th, 2012 at the age of 45. Loving daughter of Eileen and the late Everett Mastine, and dear sister of Douglas and Darlene. Debbie also leaves to mourn, her aunts, uncles and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at St-Bibiane Cemetery, Richmond, on Saturday April 21st at 10:00AM with Rev. Reginald Jennings officiating. McBean, Flora

Peacefully at the Hôtel-Dieu hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the age of 75. Flora McBean is survived by her sister Margaret (George) and brothers Albert (Judith) and Bill (Darlene) and her dear friends Judy Howe and Karen Yeates and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Robert (Mariette). Resting at the St. George's Anglican Church Lennoxville on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Ruth Charleau officiating. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery.

Morin, Wilfred

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on Monday February 6th 2012, Wilfred Morin at the age of 85. Loving husband of Sylvia Batchelor, and father of the late Steven Morin. Dear brother of Marion (the late Hans Jehle), Jerome (Dorothy), the late Paul (Norma) and Vincent (Carole). Wilfred also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law Frederick (the late Norma) and Lloyd (the late Frances), his sister-in-law Rose (John Bradley), along with his dear friend Vicky Jones, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, QC (819) 826-2502 \ www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Friday February 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
