MacKinnon, Jessie

Passed away peacefully at the Grace Christian Home, Sherbrooke, on Saturday February 4th 2012 at the age of 84. Wife of the late George Moore and of her second husband, Paul Pelchat. Dear mother of Austin (Rita), John (Wanda), James, Winnifred (Mark), George, William, Alberta (Jacques), Alfred (Brenda), Frederick (France), and Gordon (Diane). Jessie also leaves to mourn, her 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, her dear friends Carole and Marcel, sisters May Connor, Charlotte Stratton and her brother Donald (Cecile) along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her Late brother Kenneth. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) QC where friends may visit on Wednesday February 8th from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 10 to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday February 9th @ 11:00 am with Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Interment in Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley, at a later date.

Woodward, William

Suddenly at his home on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, Bill Woodward in his 77th year.

Brother of Sylvia (late Ian MacLeay), Sally (Kevin Hughes) and Joanna (Keith Cheal) Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on October 11, 2016 at the Malvern Cemetery, Lennoxville, QC. Reverend Ruth Charleau officiating.

Turcotte Sisco, Lucienne

Passed away at the Coaticook Hospital on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Herman Sisco and cherished mother of Roger (Linn), Danny (Jeannette), and Ann (Maurice); loving grandmother of Sara (DavidMusgrave), Angela Kaye, Aaron Sevret, Guy Vachon, Monica Sisco, and Megan Sisco. Lucy will also be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren: Natasha, Dylan Alexa, Caleb, Mackenzie, Logan, Matthew, Brycen, and Gavin, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, QC. on Monday, May 30, 2011, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Also on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Crystal Lake Cemetery.

Murphy, Ronald

Murphy, Ronald Henry Passed away on October 27, 2011, at the age of 88. Ron was predeceased by his parents Eliza Haldenby and Henry Murphy; his wives Theresa Monaghan and Margaret Singleton; and his sister Helen and her husband Stanley Wilson. He leaves to mourn his loss, his niece Wanda (late Austin Cook) and her children Karen (Gilles) and Randall (Sue); his brothers-in-law and sisters -in-law, Peter and Leona Monaghan and Bob and Monique Monaghan; his many Monaghan and McPeak nieces and nephews and his goddaughter Maureen Monaghan. A World War II veteran, Ron was a proud member of Unit 318 of the Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans in Canada and will be sadly missed by all his friends at the Hut. The family would like to thank the many neighbours and friends who assisted Ron and made it possible for him to remain in his home, especially Suzanne Suitor, Pete Goodin, Andrew and Marie Letemplier. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 2 pm in the St. George's Anglican Church, 84 Queen St. Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1J4. The Ven. Dean Ross officiating. Passed away suddenly at the C/S.S.S. Memphremagog on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Mandana Greenwood and cherished father of: Dian (Tom), Janet (Lance), the late David, Debra, Wendy (Ronnie), Judy (Francois), Trudy (Tracey), and Tammy; Loving grandfather of Telsa (Nick), Melissa (Jean), Mandy (Earl) and Brent (Liz); Millard will also be sadly missed by his great-granchildren: Nyla, Alexis, Haiden, Miley and Layla, along with his sister Claire (Morris), brother Melvin, foster son Gordon Sidel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home 545 Dufferin Stanstead 819-876-5213 on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 where friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., A celebration of his life will be held in Centenary United church on Wednesday, October 19, at 3:00 p, m, with Reverend Doreen Moffat and Rev. Passed away peacefully on September 16, 2011 at New Castle, Ont., in her 97th year. Vivian Elizabeth Maher wife of the late Harold Mooney and daughter of the late Alice McCormick and the late Charles Maher. Loving mother of Marion Morgan and grandmother of Deborah, Thomas, Gail and Gordon. Great grandmother of Nicholas, Serene, Madeline and George. Aunt to Margaret Maher, Brian and Sheila Paige. A graveside service will be held at Bown Cemetery, Bury, QC on Saturday October 15 at 2 pm. Cherished mother of Sidney (Kerry Philbrick), Scott (Ron Coughlin), Anne (Kevin Cowden), John (Juanita Gillam), Philip (Linda Caron), Brian (Elizabeth Lombardo) and Jim (Tina Luce) and grandmother of Nathaniel, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Rebekah, Josh, Shelby, Emily, Stacy, Trevor, Christian, Matthew, Maxime, Adam, Tareva, Erika, Zoe, William, Jessica, Nicholas, Lucas and Curtis. Lacaille Badger, Juliette

Passed away peacefully on her 94th birthday, September 17, 2011 at the Wales Home, Cleveland. She was the last surviving member of Alfred Lacaille and Minnie Poulin's family and the devoted wife of the late James Badger. She will be greatly missed by her loving sons, Norman "Jimmy", Gerald "Jerry"; her dear daughters-in-law, Claire Charette, Katherine St-Cyr; her cherished grandchildren Kathleen Badger and Justin St-Cyr Badger. She also leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law, Harriet Whittingstall, Kathleen Taylor and a very special friend, Vera Hughes and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S. Richmond, on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:30 pm. Interment in St-John's Cemetery, Gallup Hill.

Lancaster (nee Boast), Marjorie A.

Passed away suddenly on Sunday September 11th 2016, Marge Lancaster at the age of 76.

Loving wife of the late Raymond (Red) Lancaster, and dear mother of the late Stuart, Vicki (Doug Richardson), Scott (Filomena Furtado) and Heidi (Danny Morin). Cherished Grandma of Tracy and Alex Richardson, Vanessa and Alannah Alves, and Matthew and Steven Morin. Marge also leaves to mourn, her sister Betty (Dale Richmond), her brother-in-law Hughie Lancaster (Jeannine), sisters-in-law Norma (late Paul Morin), Mona (Jerry McGee), and was pre-deceased by her sister-in-law Joan (the late Bill Brock). Marge will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Friday September 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Visitation will also be held at St-Anne’s Anglican Church on Saturday September 17th from 1 to 1:50 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM with the Rev. Andrew O’Donnell officiating. Interment in St-Anne’s Cemetery following the service.

Keith Lolley, Elizabeth

Born in Edinburgh Scotland May 26th 1916. Died peacefully on August 8th, 2010 at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, Quebec. Wife of the late Raymond Alan Lolley. Survived by her loving children, Jennifer (Michael Sudlow), Helena (James Brodie) James (Brenda Barry), Polly, Andrew (Jenny) and her treasured grandchildren Paul, Andrew, David, John, Heather, Sarah, Christine, Peter, Simon, Charles, Amanda, Aaron and Tamsin.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Connaught Home and the Residence of Mariette Dunn for providing such exceptional care.They enabled her to live in comfort and with dignity.
