Kirkpatrick, Preston
Kirkpatrick, Preston Charles (formerly of Bury), died May 15, 2010 at Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove, NB. He was born on August 4, 1923 in Bury, the son of the late Charles and Olive (Gillander). Preston is survived by daughters Marjory(Brian) Smith of Fredericton, NB., Melany (Lloyd) Bustin of Sussex, NB, and step-daughter Carole (Charles) Taillon of Bury, QC., 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preston was pre-deceased by his wife Madelyn (McDonald), brother Ralph, and sister Evelyn. His remains will be resting at Cass Funeral Home, 554 Principale St. Bury, QC (819)564-1750 with visitation on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 pm and funeral on Sunday, May 23 at 2:00 pm in the Bury funeral home. Rev. Wendy Evans officiating. Interment in the Bury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Eaton Valley Pastoral Charge, 42 Principale N. Sawyerville, QC J0B 3A0 or St. Paul's Rest Home, 592 Main St. Bury, QC J0B 1J0 would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Kendall, Clarence Duncan
1928-2016
Clarence Kendall, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2016 at the Wales home in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Honey) Stewart, father of Janna, Doug (Suzan), and grandfather of Jamie and Andrew.
Clarence was a graduate of Lennoxville High School and Bishop’s University. Grandpa was truly larger than life. He was an amazing father and grandfather. Clarence as a teacher, a principal and a Director General of the Eastern Township of Quebec School Board was respected by generations of folks and touched so many lives. Clarence was involved in the founding of Fulford Academy, and was a founding investor. He loved the outdoors, the waters of Lake Massawippi and countless hobbies.
Visitation will be at the Lennoxville United Church, 6 Church, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Saturday, November 26, 2016, from 12 pm to 2 pm. A celebration of life will be follow the visitation at 2 pm. Following the service, a lunch will be held in the church reception hall.
Doug, Suzan, Jamie, Andrew and Janna want to express their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support shown to them during this time – a true testament to how much Clarence was respected and loved in his community.
They would also like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers at the Wales Home who took such good care of Grandpa.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alexander Galt Regional High School or the to the Alzheimer's Society, 740 Galt Ouest, Suite 112, Sherbrooke, QC, J1H 1Z3.

Kerr, Kevin (Moose)
1962-2016
Suddenly, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 54. Son of the late William (Bill) Kerr and the late Theresa Mockle.
Kevin leaves his children Nathalie, Patricia, Bridgette and Ryan; his step-children Melissa and Jessie; his step-grandchildren Kelly, Koby and Cameron; his sisters Carole (Carl) and Nancy (Dwight); the mother of his children Joyce Phaneuf; his many nieces and nephews; his friends Annette Vallée and Tim Brown; as well as many other friends. Predeceased by brother Michael and sister Frances.
Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the St-Camille Church, 190 Principale Sud, Cookshire, QC. Interment in the St-Camille Cemetery, Cookshire, QC.

Kane (nee Frank), Margaret
Marg slipped away peacefully on September 8, 2016 in her 94th year.
She was the daughter of William Frank and Ethel Pennington. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, her sister Ellen and her twin sister Jean. She will be greatly missed by her niece Susan, her nephew Jim, her great nieces and nephews, and her great great nephew.
Special thanks to the Wales Home in Richmond where she lived happily for the last years of her life.

Hombert, Fernand
Passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu Hospital on Tuseday, December 20, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Denise Meloche. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Princiaple S. Richmond, QC on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 3 to 4 pm followed by the funeral service at 4 pm in the funeral home.

Hill, John
Peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the age of 82. John Murray Earls Hill beloved husband of Anne Christie and dear father of Murray (Nasreen), Kathleen (Gordie), Jean (Christopher) and Mary (John). Cherished grandfather of Hooman and Payvand; Tamara and Meghan; Grace, Ruthanne, Naomi and Judah; Alexandra, Matthew and David. John is also survived by his sister Anne and was predeceased by his sister Mary. Resting at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church, North Hatley, QC on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 10 to 11 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Rev. David Oliver officiating. Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Hotel-Dieu, Sherbrooke, on Friday November 11th, 2011 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of the late Joyce Nickerson, and dear father of Bruce (his friend Debbie), and Sandra (Andy Harrison) and of the late Richard and the late Johnny Hodge. Loving grandfather of Travis and Megan Harrison, and Kirstin, Johnny and Matthew Hodge. Ozzie also leaves to mourn, his sister Trudy Pullen, and his brother-in-law George (Freda), along with his nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Passed away at the CHUS Hospital Fleurimont, on Monday March 22, 2010 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Erving Davio and cherished mother of Trudy (Denis), Lauren, Tracey (Gaston) and Robin (Lucien). Dear grandmother of Mélanie, Joanne, Eric, Patrick, Dominique, Samuel, Richard, Anne-Marie and Jean-Sébastien. Great grandmother of Morgan, Emery, Erika, Jacob and Ayva. Jean was predeceased by son Ricky. She also leaves to mourn other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9 Boul. St-Joseph, Stanstead, on Saturday March 27, 2010 at 2pm.

Passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the age of 67. Dear son of the lateThomas Archer and the late Dorothy Evans. Loving father of Jarret (Jennifer) and Melissa (Gaetan) Adoring grandfather of Oliver, Carter, Emma, Annabelle, and Nathanial. Precious brother of Gordon, the late Ernest, Jerry (Betty) Bill (Marsha) and the late Fraser. Alan will also be sadly missed by the mother of his children Nancy, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at the Wales Home, Richmond, QC on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 10:30 to 11:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Allan, Marguerita
Peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, QC on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the age of 106. Dorothy Marguerita Allan beloved daughter of the late Francis Allan and the late Bertha Robinson. Marguerita is survived by her second cousins Cathryn Lohrisch and Rick Miller and also by her dear friends Denise Duclos and Barbara Bampton. Marguerita's family wishes to thank the staff of the Norton Wing of the Wales Home for the kind and professional care given to Marguerita. A funeral notice will be published at a later date. Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond, on Wednesday March 14th 2012, at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Stanley Lodge, and loving mother of Barbara (Merrick Morrill), Beverley (Lloyd Findlay), Robert (France), Gordon (Eileen), Jeannie (Ronald Mastine), Mary (Merlin Gunter), Harry (Hélène), Louise (Gilles Dallaire), Alan. June also leaves to mourn her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren, along with her sisters Joy and Dawn, brother Raulin, sisters-in-law Phyllis and Betty and her brother-in-law Henry Lodge along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Resting at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 148 Daniel-Johnson St., Danville, where friends may visit on Sunday March 18th from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 9 PM, and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. A celebration of June’s life will be held in the Danville-Asbestos Trinity United Church on Monday at 2:00 PM followed by the interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery. Merrill, Jeanne D’Arc (nee Allard) Passed away at the Foyer Richmond on Friday March 9th, 2012, Mrs Jeanne D’Arc Merrill at the age of 89. Wife of the late Arthur Merrill and sister of Louise Gagné (feu Omer Gagné). Jeanne D’Arc also leaves to mourn her several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Friday March 16th from 1 to 2 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday March 16th at 2:00PM, with Father Benoit Houde officiating. Interment in the Ste-Bibiane cemetery. The family would like to thank the Foyer Richmond for the wonderful care they provided. Donations to the Canadian Cancer society or the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
