On Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved and cherished husband of Florence Goffman for fifty-four years. Loving and devoted father of Dr. Andrea Joy Cohen. Predeceased by his parents, Esther and I.B. Cohen. Dear brother of the late Joseph Cohen, the late Sarah Petrushka and the late Becky Horowitz. Brother-in-law of Yitschak Petrushka, Benno Horowitz, Ruth and the late Harvey Nadler, the late Carl and the late Pearl Goffman, and the late Shirley Cohen. Special and cherished brother and brother-in-law of Sydney and Tronny Sweibel. Best uncle and friend to Mitchell, Carina and Morgan Sweibel. Loving nephew of Rose and the late Sam Freger, Jack and Elaine Freger, Toby and the late Alex Litwin of New York, and cousin to Stewart and Charlene Freger, Paul and Pam Freger, Elliot and Barbara Freger, Sam and Lorrain Litwin, and Dr. Laurie Litwin. Simon was loved and adored by all those whose lives he touched. He was caring, considerate and always helpful.
