Adored Zaidie of Ethan, and Paige Crystal. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Sam and Arlene Trager, Ethel and Jack Garfinkle, the late Beatrice and the late Oscar Stein. MAGIL, Doris (née Stein). Peacefully, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 on the eve of her ninety-second birthday. Cherished wife of the late Bill Magil. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of David and Debbie, Richard, and the late Michelle (Carl Goldman). Cherished Bubby of Rachelle, and Ilana Magil; Miriam, and Michael Goldman. Proud great-grandmother of Curtis and Theo. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Mogul. Predeceased by her brothers Mark Stein and Nathan Stein, sister Clara Stein, brothers-in-law Lou Magil and Irving Magil, sisters-in-law Rachel Saxe and Bernice Rosen. A favourite aunt to many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. She will be sadly missed by her many dear friends. The family extends thanks to her devoted caregivers Linda, Loida and Analyn, and to our Montreal cousins Norman and Nina Stein who provided so much love and support. Adored Bubby of Stacey (Hubar) and Tom Kohler of Boston, and the late Brian Hubar. Proud “Double Bubby” of Aaron, and Benjamin Kohler. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Jules and Ahuva Boyer, Ralph and Claire Boyer, Ida and Saul Keeb. Survived by her sisters, Sherry Rioux (Stephen) of Collingwood, ON and Marlene Fischel (the late Gordon Robert); her nieces, Lisa Fischel, Heidi Fischel Hebert and Sandy Fischel Lubin (Sheldon); as well as her great-nephews and great-niece, Alex, Geoffrey and Justin Hebert, Jeremy Shier, Gabriel and Sydnie Miller.
