BERTHIAUME, LEO FREDERICK - It is with sadness the family of Leo Frederick Berthiaume announce his passing on Monday, August 30, 2004 at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Helen; his parents Arthur and Jo Berthiaume; sister Selina Gagnon; brothers George Berthiaume and David Berthiaume. Leo is survived by nieces Judy Shannon, Mellanie Gow (John) of Winnipeg and Dianne Molnar (Fred); nephew Lance Berthiaume (Brenda) of Winnipeg; great-nephews Brent Shannon (Rhonda), Peter Gow (Lisa) of Winnipeg and Andrew (Amy) Gow of Loveland, Colorado; great-niece Mary Ann Gow of Winnipeg and several great-nieces and nephews. After serving in the RCAF during WW II as a flying instructor, Leo established and worked at his jewellery and engraving business until his retirement 20 years ago. Leo could always be found at the centre of social gatherings. He loved people, especially his family. He was a great story teller and will be missed. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne Parish, 1701 Cowan Crescent with Father Ken Miller, Celebrant. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. STRUDWICK - Nellie Sabina Strudwick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at the age of 87, in the Lanigan Health Centre, Lanigan, Sk. Nel was predeceased by her husband William Strudwick, brothers; Albert (Edna) Holyoak, Charles Holyoak, and sisters May (Alfred) Bjorgan, Blanche (Andrew) Hardie and Dorothy (Jack) Fleming. She is survived by her three children; Sharon (Ron) Isherwood of Nokomis, Harley (Allyce) Strudwick of Langham and Daryl (Mary) Strudwick of Nokomis; grandchildren, Kim Oscienny of Regina, Clint Isherwood of Wetaskiwin, AB., Hayden & Aulden Strudwick of Saskatoon, Jason (Tina) Hauck of Estevan, Kalie (Tim) Hendry of Nokomis, Leigha Strudwick (Jeremy Magel) & Mallory Strudwick of Saskatoon, Daryl Strudwick of Nokomis; brother-in-law Jack Fleming of Williams Lake, BC.; five great grand children. STENDER - Anne Julia Haberlack sadly passed away on December 2, 2004, in Grace Hospice at the William Booth Special Care Home, Regina, Sask., in her 72nd year. Anne was born in Vibank on April 17, 1932. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Roy (1988); parents Steve and Elizabeth Haberlack; sisters Madeline and Caroline; brothers Frank, Bernie and Valentine. Anne is survived by sisters Dolly Duvall, Mary Slater, Lorraine (Satch) Julhin, all of Regina, Loretta Haberlack, of Salmon Arm B.C. and brother Roy (Alfrieda) Haberlack of Regina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friend Cathy Girard. Ann resided in Regina for many years. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Riverside Memorial Park. Anne has gone home and will be missed by her family. Donations in Anne's memory may be made to the Mental Health and Kidney Dialysis, Regina General Hospital, 1440 14th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 0W5. BRAILEAN - Margaret Marian of Quill Lake (forrmerly of Regina) passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving sister Julie at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 two days before her 72nd birthday. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Anne Morrison, husband Frank in March 1998, brother-inlaw Pat Ward in January 2005. Left to cherish Margaret's memory are her daughters Linda (Danny), Sandy, Julie (Ron), her grandchildren Jason (Brandi), Bob, Jodi (Chuck), Tammie (Jeff), Chalise (Paul), Karleen, Danielle, and Hannah. Great Grandchildren Talon, Tyler, Holly Tyson, Michael. Margaret's special sisters Betty (Maurice), Julie and Families. Brother-in-law George (Helen) and sisterin-law Margaret (Del) and families. Good friends Archie & Marian Marshall and Debbie & Allan Lang. OUR MOTHER Mom always put herself last and God gave our Mother her wings and decided it was finally her turn to rest. HOLMES - Robert (Bob) Guy Holmes, born May 21, 1926 in Frobisher, SK, passed away at Parkside Extendicare on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Survived by his two daughters, Beverly (Stan) Niebergall of Wawota and Bonnie (Ron) MacGillivray of Vankleek Hill, ON; son Lloyd (Karen) Holmes of Regina; nine grandchildren; thirteen greatgrandchildren; son-in-law Len Bagu of Kipling Sk.; one sister Melba Koczka; two sisters-in-law Grace Holmes and Lena Serge; one brother-in-law Al (Audrey) Rettman, all of Regina several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his parents Guy and Emma (Byers) Holmes; one brother Russell. In his younger years he farmed in the Minton, Big Beaver and Kipling areas. Bob was employment with the City of Regina, in Parks and Recreation for twenty-five years.
