PROCKNER - On Wednesday March 2, 2005, Margaret Prockner widow of Robert Prockner, Regina, Sask. and formerly of Qu'Appelle, Sask., age 68 years. The funeral service will be held in the Knox United Church, Qu'Appelle, Sask., on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Jo Mader L.P. officiating. Interment in Qu'Appelle Cemetery. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1991; her parents Maxwell and Mary Boulding and two sisters Eva Welder and Patricia Keller. She is survived by her children: Bevan (Grace) Ovens, Mary (Mike) Constable-Smerek, Dwight Constable, Bernie Constable, Brenda (Brian) Bezberotko, Fred Constable, Robert (Sherry) Prockner, Bill Prockner and Norman Prockner (Tina Reynard); fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother Bob Boulding; two sisters Georgina (Gordon) Demyen and Jean Erickson and also her nieces and nephews. If friends so desire contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina, Sask. S4R 1A6 or to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, Box 58000, Saskatoon, Sask., S7K 7Y4 may be tokens of remembrance.

ELLIS - BURTON Floyd, of Earl Grey Saskatchewan, passed away in his home on March 28th, 2005. At the age of 48 years. Predeased by his parents Barbara and Gordon Ellis, Brother Terry Boshaw. Burton is survived by his son; Jonathan McGonigal Brooks, AB., brothers Greggory Boshaw of Calgary, AB., Elmer and Debbie Ellis of Ontario., sisters Wendy and Joe DeRoven of Ontario., Debbie and Clayton Schram of Ontario., Elizabeth Joudrey of Cold Lake, AB., and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service was held on April 1st, 2005 in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan. Enturment to follow in Sombra, ON at a later date.

MAIER - Albert Henry passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2005 in Broadview, SK in his 91st year. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Regina Maier; his wife, Nancy; one son, Gerald; one daugher, Barbara in infancy; a grandson and great-grandson; a brother, Oscar and sister-in-law, Elsie Maier. He is survived by his 11 children, Theresa (Emile) Istace of Kennedy, Lloyd (Marie Helene) Maier of Rockland, ON, Marlene (Ron) Vandressar of Saskatoon, David (Anita) Maier, Walter (Darlene) Maier, Cecilia (Urby) Istace of Whitewood, Joan (Ken) Bowley of Esterhazy, Joe (Gloria) Maier of Olds, AB, Stan (Dorothy) Maier of Whitewood, Robert Maier of Rocanville and Patsy (Richard) Thompson of Whitewood; 35 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Emil (Grenfell), Otto (Kathleen) of St. Albert, AB and Alfred (Ruth) of Sudbury, ON; one sister-in-law, Lydia Maier of Red Deer, AB; many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all the staff at the Broadview and Whitewood Nursing Home and the Broadview Hospital for your care of Albert when he was a resident there. Prayers will be said Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Whitewood. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Whitewood. Interment will follow in the St. Hubert Cemetery. Flowers most gratefully declined; donations can be made to the Whitewood Health Centre or to a charity of choice.

A celebration of her life will be held at First United Church, Melville on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Neepawa, Manitoba at a later date. ORISCHUK - Terry Matt (June 22, 1937 March 30, 2005). It is with great sadness we announce that on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at the age of 67 years, Terry passed away suddenly while battling cancer. At the time of his passing he was in the comforting arms of his wife and children. Terry was predeceased by his parents William and Katherine Orischuk and his sister Irene Phirbney. He is survived by his wife Elsie and his two children Brian and Treena; his brothers Ernie (Ruby) and Sydney (Ester), nieces, nephews and too many friends to mention. Terry was born at home on the farm at Kenaston, Saskatchewan to William and Katherine (Philipow) Orischuk. Terry attended S.T.I. in Moose Jaw, graduating from Electrical School in 1962. Terry worked for Honeywell for 20 years, retiring in 1993. In 1961 he married his wife Elsie and they shared 44 wonderful years together. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him and loved him for his caring, his humor and his friendship over the years. Flowers gratefully declined. TOTH - Margaret (NEE PAL) of Lestock, Sask., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the age of 63 years, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved infant son Steven and daughter Elizabeth. Margaret is survived by her loving husband James of nearly 47 years, sons James (Dianne); Leslie (Lara); Joseph (Bernice); daughter Margaret (Robert); son in law Stephen; grandchildren Tania, Leigh-Ann, Chyndelle, Adryan, Kerynn; Melissa, Jessica, Sara, Brianne, Sara, Jesse, Abigail; Jennifer, Joel, Janel; Shaylene, Christopher; Christopher, Kaitlin and Victoria; and her parents, three brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Hungary in 1942 and immigrated to the Cupar area in 1956. Margaret and James were married April 26, 1958 and settled in the Lestock area where they farmed and raised their family. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing trees, vegetables and most especially her flowers. Her real joy though was in her family, her husband, children and grandchildren, who she always had time for. She found meaning in everyday life and filled hers with acts of kindness, enjoyable times with friends and memorable gatherings with family. Margaret will always be remembered as a selfless friend, devoted mother and a loving grandma to the many that will dearly miss her wonderful spirit and positive outlook on life. The Prayer Service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 7:30 P.M. in Mary Queen of All Hearts R.C. Church, 415 Touchwood Hills Avenue, Lestock, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in Mary Queen of All Hearts R.C. Church, with Rev. W. Wojtkowiak, OMI, celebrant. The Interment will follow in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery. BAKKEN, MILDRED - June 18, 1919 March 23, 2005 Mildred passed away on March 23, 2005 at the Craik & District Health Care Centre after a lengthy illness of Alzheimer. She will be remembered by her husband, Conrad Bakken; children, Ronnie (Sharon) Bakken, Raymond Bakken, Myrna (Rodney) Jones, Murray (Mary-Jo) Bakken; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters Eunice Truber and Erma Tangen; sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Craik Cemetery on April 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Craik & District Health Care Centre will be greatly appreciated. EDWARDS - On Friday, August 26, 2005, Annie Agnes (Meider) Edwards, widow of Clifford Edwards, Wolseley, Sask. died at the age of 94 years. Cremation is to take place at this time with a private interment for family and close friends to be held at the Wolseley Cemetery at a later date. Predeceased by her husband in 1993, brothers, Walter, August and Jack Meider and one sister Freda Barnes. Annie is survived by her daughter, Doris (Peter) Baumgarten, Kelowna, B.C., one grandson, Brian (Sandra) Baumgarten, Emerald Park, Sask.; one granddaughter, Sharon (Vincent) Carroll, Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.; four great grandchildren, Tara, Pamela, Sean and Ashley, one sister-in-law, Lee Meider, Regina, Sask., also survived by her nieces and nephews. Annie was born in Wilkova, Poland on Nov. 9, 1910 and came to Canada with her parents as a small child. She lived her entire life in Wolseley. On October 29, 1928 she married Clifford Henry Edwards. Annie took great pride and enjoyment in her yard and her flowers, she loved to bake, and to entertain and visit with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

GRAAS - BEVERLEY (BEV) ELLEN (NEE BIRCHER) 1954-2005 Bev Graas, beloved wife of twenty-four years of Allan Graas of Calgary, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 26, 2005, after a seventeen month struggle with cancer at the age of 50 years. Bev was born on November 24, 1954 in Regina, SK. She was a university graduate, earned her Black Belt in Karate and also taught Karate. She achieved her Grade 10 in piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Bev was a devoted wife and mother. Her gentle love and kind spirit will be missed. Always loved, she will be forever missed by her husband Al; children, Jennifer, Cheryl and Jonathon, all of Calgary; father Jack of Regina, SK; brother Bob of Vancouver, BC; Corrine Bircher of Regina, SK; her mother and father-in-law Alex and May Graas of Moose Jaw, SK; Don and Beth Graas of Belle Plaine, SK; Judy and George Boland of Winnipeg, MB; Larry Graas and Darlene Phillips of Calgary; Fran Marceau of Moose Jaw, SK and many other friends and relatives. Bev was predeceased by her mother Gladys in 2004, and her brother Barry in 2003. Bernice is survived by her two grandchildren Joey and Cindy Brodervich; sisters, Fran Bowlin, Kay Brodt, Liz Gerlack, and Veronica Kojak, brothers Barnie, Gerry, Pius and Nick, also numerous nieces and nephews. KUNTZ (NEE DIEWOLD) - Elizabeth went to be with her Lord from Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence (1989), all her siblings and granddaughter, Maureen. Elizabeth leaves to mourn, her daughter, Sister Elaine (Sister of Precious Blood); son, Charles (Mary Ann) and their children, Robert (Donna), Eric (Cheryl Ann), Elaine (Tom) Abrook, Lois (Peter) Spitzer, Glenn (Roberta), Mary Ellen Gennutt and Cheryl (Jason) Fairly; 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives. Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth St., Regina, SK with Fr. Emmett Morrissey as Celebrant.
