HORST, JOEL — At the Freeport Health Centre in Kitchener on Friday, August 8th, 2003 in his 33rd year. Beloved son of Janice Krupp and John and Jean Horst. Dear brother of Jay Horst (Shelley), Richard Van Dyk, Paul Van Dyk, Kim Horst, Sarah Van Dyk and Serena Van Dyk. Beloved grandson of Manny and Edith Horst and Norman Krupp. Special friends of Mauro, Vince, Chris and friends at Christian Horizons. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Fredric, Jonathan and his grandmother Betty Krupp. A memorial service will take place at the Corbett Funeral Home Chapel, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, August 12th, 2003 at 2p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society or Christian Horizons would be appreciated by the family.

JONES — On Friday, August 8, 2003, Ross Bernard Jones, Grenfell, Sask. passed away at the age of 70 years. Ross was predeceased by his wife, Lorna (Smith) Jones in 1998; his parents, Fred Jones in 1960 and Kate (Parcey) Jones in 1967 and one sister Evelyn Welch in 1988 and is survived by his daughters: Debra (Gord) Hasay, Edmonton, AB; Linda Felt, Grenfell; son Raymond (Kathy) Jones, Rosetown, SK.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Belva (George) Hubbard, Grenfell and Geraldine Mucha, Regina and several nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2003.

PILBEAM - DONALD, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Don is predeceased by his parents; two sisters Betty Renforth and May Richards; two brothers John and William Pilbeam. Left to cherish Don's memory is his wife of 55 years Sophie; two sons Richard (Dorothy) and Donald (Jenny); three daughters, Gail (Pat) Schurman, Mary (Allan) Gervais, Sandy (Marty) Lanigan; thirteen grandchildren: Cheryl, Bryan, LeeAnne, Chad, Kim, Ryan, Sarah, Emily, Gillian, Joel, Trisha, Connor and Adam; three great-grandchildren Brayden, Mason and Larissa; two sisters Margaret (Joe) Neudeck and Anne Gilchrist. Don was born and raised in Regina. He served during WWII with the Canadian Navy and wasretired from the Provincial Dept. of Corrections. Don was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and was aseason ticket holder for over 30 years. He also enjoyed bowling and curling and wasalways the biggest fan for all of his grandchildren's special events. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the ReginaFuneral Home, Hwy #1 East, on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Wells officiating. A private family interment will follow at Regina MemorialGardens Cemetery. Maxine was predeceased by one son, Kevin; father, Edward Borth; one brother, Donald Borth; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reinhold and Matilda Weger; sister-in-laws, Norma Weger, Lily Wondrasek; brother-in-laws, Rudolf Weger and Gordon Wondrasek. Maxine is mourned by her husband, Awald; daughter, Karen; mother, Illiene Borth; two brothers, Dwight (Myrna) Borth; Kelly (Brenda) Borth; four sisters, Caroline (Norman) Dean; Elaine Borth; Katherine (Ed) La Rose; Donna (Blaine) Sluzalo; Also family by marriage, Elsie (Edward) Fichter; Kay (Harold) Casler; Frieda (Raymond) Lawrence; Reinhart (Beth) Weger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. UNSETH (CAMPBELL) - Alida Olga (nee Lakness) of Nokomis passed away peacefully on February 1, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73. Survived by her loving husband Palmer, children Dale (Jane) Campbell of Duval and Janice (Jim) Korte of Muenster. Also, survived by grandchildren Lawrence Campbell of Lloydminster, Paula (Dallas) Erhardt of Duval, Garret (Janine) Korte of Muenster, Jesse Korte of Medesto, Cal, Amy Korte of Saskatoon and 5 great grandchildren, sisters Borgny Eldson, Mildren (Eldon) Norum, Gladys Erhardt, Kathy (John) Fenton and Laverne Pidhourny; brothers Bernard (Theresa) Lakness and Carl Lakness; sisters-in-law, Ida Campbell, Mavis Campbell, Rita Campbell, Ruth Campbell, Sandra Campbell, Ina Kastning, Gerta Zimmerman and brother-in-law Arnie Unseth, several nieces and nephews and many friends whose life Alida touched. Also, survived by Palmer's step children, Sandra Anderson, Linda (Dave) Comba, Robert (Barb) Comba, Pat (Valrie) Comba, 5 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
