Mr. Gordon Werner Smith
December 15, 1938 - April 9, 2008

Gordon Werner Smith “G.V.” passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2008.
He is survived by his loving family his wife Annette; and four sons Darren and children Braedon and Reid; Todd (Yvonne) and children Kyla, Erica and Kristin; Jason (Liz) and son Jackson; Robert (Nicole) and children Jenna, Mackenzy and Zachary; his mother Anne and three sisters Sr. Donna, OSU; Carole (Merv) Johnson, MaryLou (Ross) Rackel and numerous nieces and nephews; six brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
He was predeceased by his father Vern, his brother Garry and one niece.
“G.V.” was respected by all who knew him.
Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Francis Aqbezube will officiate.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16 by The Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen.
Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Fred Lawrence Schneider
May 2, 1943 - April 10, 2008

Freddy Lawrence Schneider, age 64, beloved husband of Rose Marie of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2008 with his wife, sons and daughters-in-law by his side.
Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14 from River Park Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Brian Clarke will officiate.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15 from River Park Memorial Chapel.
Reverend Father Clifford will officiate.
Fred is survived by his loving family: his wife of 43 years of marriage Rose Marie (nee Fiddler); his two sons Neil (Karen) and Ronnie (Darla); his three special granddaughters Cherish, Alyssa, Emilee; his special grandson Ryley; his brother John (Dorrand); his sister Ann Schneider; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his special niece Jennifer Fiddler.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Emily Schneider; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Norman and Emily Fiddler; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
His life was devoted to his wife, sons, daughters-in-law and his grandchildren.
He helped anyone whenever they needed it and never asked for anything in return.
Fred worked fifteen years for Big Dome Wood Preservers and drove gravel truck and later cab until his health forced him to retire.
His favorite hobby was doing puzzles and teasing.
He loved to visit and have coffee and told many stories.
Even his last days when he couldn’t talk he still tried to tease.
Cremation will follow the funeral service with interment of cremated remains in Garden of Memories, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.

Sleep Well Gentle Lady

Marie passed away peacefully at Parkside Nursing home in Regina.

Marie is survived by her beloved daughters Lois Armstrong and her husband David Armstrong of St. Albert, AB and Donalda Pegg and her husband Bob Elmer of Regina.

She is also survived by her sister Hazel Mutlow of Swift Current; brothers and their wives Clifford and Lavonne Pittman and Donald and Virginia Pittman all of Kyle; sisters-in-law Frances Golden of St Walburg, Invermay Crawford and Agnes Haddow both of Saskatoon.

Left to cherish the memory of their “Auntie Marie” are many wonderful nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Currie; special daughter Marlene; her parents Isaiah and Emma Pittman and brother-in-law Don Pegg and sister-in-law Louise Rooney.

A special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Parkside Extendicare and Claddagh Manor for their gentle and dignified care of Mom.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend John Haas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity or the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 – 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 would be appreciated.

Mr. Peter Thacyk
December 7, 1924 - April 7, 2008

Peter Thacyk – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Grampa, Opa and great Grampa.

Peter passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord and his beautiful wife Ella on April 7, 2008 with all his children by his side.

He leaves to celebrate his life his children Bob and Lois, Gerry and Diane, Joanne and Wilf, Wayne and Ann, Tracy and Larry, Michelle and Rob and Lisa and special friend George; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as many relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Sophie and John; two brothers and two sisters.

A very special thank you to all who have ever touched our Dad’s life.

It meant so much.

A FUNERAL MASS was held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

Peacefully at Extendicare on Sunday, March 14, 2010 in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of the late Peter Korpan (1998).

Dear mother of Bill Hicks of Sarnia, Charmane and husband Barry Morrow of Brampton, Karen and husband Cliff MacKiddie of St. Catharines, Diane and husband John Tsaltis of Stratford, Dan Korpan and his wife Judi of Niagara Falls.

Dora was blessed to have met David Clements in 2007.

They shared a strong bond of love, friendship and companionship.

Dora's family grew to include Marcey, Rick, Holly, Esther and Vern.

Dora is survived by her Granchildren, Doris King (Wayne), Robert Hicks (Karen), Donald Hicks, Alison Sewell (Keith), Peter Jospeh Hicks, Tim MacKiddie (Lisa) and Matt MacKiddie and Great Grandchildren Karolynn Rodgers (John), Andrew King (Amanda), Jeremy Hicks, Brandon Hicks, Cody Hicks, Casey Hicks, Amy MacDonald-Hicks, Emelia Sewell, Keira Sewell, Donald Hicks Jr. Great Great Grandchildren Dylan King, Linkin Rodgers.

Predeceased by Husband William Hicks Sr. (1955), grandson William Louis Hicks and sisters Ivy Berry, Kathleen Cox and brother Ronald Wormald.

Family will receive friends at the Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara Street on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.Funeral Service will be held in the Butler Chapel on Friday March 19, 2010 at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Society or the Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.

Connie Reiss passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 29, 2008.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Vi Sattler and her grandparents.

Connie leaves to cherish her memory her husband and best friend, Dan; son Jeremy; daughter Kristianne; sisters Jan (Richard) and Val and her son David and brother Brent (Pam) and their sons Kyle and Kelvin; Dan's parents Peter and Elsie; his brothers and sister Bryan, Bob, Peggy (Dave) and Randy (Rhonda); plus numerous aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

A FUNERAL SERVICE was held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
