Stella Turgeon, age 94, of the Herb Bassett Nursing Home passed away at the home on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
She was predeceased by her husband Marcel on June 22, 1977 and her son Larry on January 5, 2009.
Stella is survived by her family Aldea Desjardins of Wakaw, Jerry of Port Alberni, BC and Carol Legault of Bouse, Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born on April 10, 1915 in Howell, SK.
She will be truly missed by all.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16 from River Park Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate.
Interment will take place in the Garden of Gethsemane, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Herb Bassett Nursing Home.

Mrs Bernice Mae Pister
November 28, 1933 - March 24, 2008
Bernice Mae - Born on November 28, 1933, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the age of 74 years, with her family and her pastor by her side after losing her battle with pneumonia.
She was predeceased by her mother Lillian Winters; her father William Winters; brother William Winters Jr; sisters Nora Janes, Clara Folkerts and Kathleen Meikle; sister-in-law Marian Winters; brothers-in-law Henry Folkerts, Carl Folkerts and Wildon Janes and Gordon Stein.
Bernice is survived by her husband Ted Pister of fifty two and a half years; sons Terry (Roni) Pister and Kelly (Blair) Pister; daughter Allison (Randy) Brock; grandchildren TaraLee (Jason) Houston, Pamela Pister, Marie Pister, Lisa Boutin, Brandon Brock, Hannah Brock and Mackenzie Brock; great granddaughter Trinity Pister; sister Gustie Stein and Dorothy Folkerts; brother-in-law Keith Meikle as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernice was born in Willmar, SK.
She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Willmar, SK.
Ted and Bernice were married on November 17, 1955 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Regina.
She moved to Regina at the tender age of 15 years where she spent the next twenty-five plus years in the work force, she then past her time babysitting grandchildren and volunteering at Pioneer Village for numerous years, which she enjoyed very much.
We would like to thank the wonderful nursing staff at ICU Pasqua Hospital and 6F General Hospital for the excellent care they gave Bernice.

Mr. Earl Rickard
September 12, 1916 - March 19, 2008
Earl passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Sunset Extendicare with people who loved and cared for him at his side.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth (Kline); his brother James; sister Gertrude Parker and son-in-law William “Bill” Hicke.
Earl is survived by his wife Margaret of 70 years; daughters Shirley Floyd, Lee Anne Hicke and Bonnie Rickard; six grandchildren Lisa, Brian, Karen, Danny, Yauni and Mose; his sister Margaret (Herman) Leith; seven great grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
To most of us Earl was “Gramps.”
He was born in Melville, SK on September 12, 1916.
Earl lived and raised his family in Regina.
In his youth, he enjoyed and excelled at many sports.
He was a hockey fan, an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Royal Regina Golf Club.
He worked for Imperial Oil until his retirement, when he was able to devote more time to golf and his family.
Earl stayed active and was able to live in his own home until the age of 91.
Several people helped make that possible and we thank Sharon, Darlene and Theresa for their dedication.
Many thanks to the staff at Sunset for their excellent care since December, and a special word of gratitude to Kavita, Sharon, Glenda and Anna, who for years appeared when most needed.
We will miss Earl and cherish his memory.
Interment and a day of remembrance for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Mr. Karl Ernest "Ernie" Sastaunik
June 15, 1921 - March 21, 2008
Ernie - Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on March 21, 2008 in Regina Wascana Grace Hospice at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his wife Frieda of 61 years; twin children Kathy and Ken (Shirley); grandchildren Allison and Jason; great granddaughters Shelby, Taylor, Hailey and Kate.
He is also survived by his sister Gertie (Rudy) Tank; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Philip and Christina; brothers Bill and Henry; sisters Katie, Lizzie, Marie, Annie and Ida.
A FUNERAL SERVICE was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK.

Mr. Ernesto Jr. PARAISO
December 28, 1980 - March 12, 2010
Ernesto Jr. or as his family fondly called him "Nonoy" was a very determined and headstrong young man.
All through his life he pursued his goals with perseverance and discipline to excel in everything he did be it basketball, martial arts, academics and even beating a dreaded disease.
He is most remembered for his wonderful smile that can light up a room and his ability to make those around him laugh in his own special way.
Nonoy was a successful student athlete in his days at St. Augustine Elementary and Dr. Martin LeBoldus High Schools. Another one of his many accomplishments that Nonoy is very proud of is attaining his Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.
Nonoy will be greatly missed by his parents Ernesto Sr. and Lourdes Paraiso; siblings Ernestine, Maria Lourdes, and E.J.; and his fiancée Eva Sinurat.
The Paraiso Family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of Unit 3B at the Pasqua Hospital for the care and attention they have provided to Ernesto Jr. and to friends from near and far for their support and love through this sad time.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Ernesto will be interred at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service and lunch reception.

Bryce Wilfred Souster
September 22, 1945 - March 11, 2010
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Bryce is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nettie of Delisle; sons, Troy (Kim) of Saskatoon and Shaun of Delisle; four grandchildren: Mikayla, Hannah, Jasmin and Derian Souster; brother, Bruce (Madelyn) Souster; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He was predeceased by his parents, Cliff and Peg Souster and a granddaughter in infancy, Gabrielle.
Bryce was an avid sports enthusiast spending much of his earlier years playing and coaching hockey and softball. In his later years, his enjoyment came from being with his grandchildren, camping and fishing with his good friends.
Many evenings were spent sitting around the campfire enjoying lots of laughs.
He was also proud to be part of the original ownership group of The Great Western Brewing Company.
He was a lifelong Montreal Canadiens fan which brought him much pleasure as well as grief from his friends.
His laugh will be remembered by all who knew him.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon.
Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1202 Avenue O South, Saskatoon, SK with Very Rev. Fr. Ron Beechinor Celebrant.
