DALY, On Wednesday, April 25, 2001 Kenneth Owen Daly, late of Regina, Sask., passed away at the age of 69 years. He was predeceased by sister Phyllis; brothers Dean, Vern and Dale; father Duncan (John) and mother Bertha. Ken is survived by his children: sons Cory and Colin and daughter Shannon; grandchildren Joshua, Jessica and Kimberly; sisters Evelyn, Gertrude, Melrose, Lois and Darlene; brothers Don, Murray, Brian and Barry as well as numerous other relatives. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 1380 Elphinstone St., Regina, SK with Rev. Michael Fahlman, celebrant. GRAINGER, Annette Mary. Aged 78 years. Of North Vancouver. Passed away suddenly on February 13, 2001. Annette is survived by her loving family, daughters Gail Rodgers (Norm Vipond) and Valerie Mann, two grandchildren, Amber Rodgers and Christopher Mann, brother Trygve Olson (Shirley), sister Doris Magnusson, sisters-in-law Merron Olson and Eleanor Svedahl and their families. She is further survived by a very special niece Darlene Christopher (Patrick), also many extended family members and friends in Vancouver and Saskatchewan. A memorial service was held on February 20, 2001, in North Vancouver. Interment of ashes is to occur at a grave side service in Ogema, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogema Cemetery. Reverend Robin Osborne officiating. Reception to follow in the Ogema United Church, 202 Baldwin St. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Church, Qu'Appelle, Sask., on Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. .J.R. Prince. Interment in the Qu'Appelle Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the church on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Ward McLaughlin presiding. Predeceased by his wife, Lena in 1981; son, Philip in 1952; three sisters: Hannah Eberts in 1996, Mary Kuntz in infancy in 1918 and Cecilia Schaeffer in 1983 and three brothers: Laurence Kuntz in 1986 and two in infancy. MARCHTALER, Ervin Carl, passed away suddenly on April 24, 2001, with his loving wife of 44 years, Adeline by his side. He is predeceased by his father Erwin, his mother Anne, his brother Wayne, and his father-in-law John Chuhaywich. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Adeline, his 4 children Kenneth, Brian (Colleen), Dean, and Michelle Salmond (Neil), his 8 grandchildren Alana, Ashleigh, Carl, Barret, Stephanie, Caley, Spencer and Devon. He is survived by 9 brothers and sisters Herbert, Edward (Judy), Eugene (Joan), Charlotte Golling, Kurt (Marge), Sylvia Massier (Wayne), Kenneth (Linda), Vivian and Wanda, his mother-in-law Olga Romando, his brother-in-law Elven Shane (Doreen) and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ervin was born on June 5, 1935 and grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. His early passion was for football where he later developed into a talented player for the Regina Rams of the Saskatchewan Jr. Football League, the Victoria Drakes of the B.C. Intermediate Football Team, and a trial period with the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League. He served as assistant coach for Balfour Tech and Campion College in Regina as well as head coach for the Regina Buffalos of the Saskatchewan Sr. Football League. To many in the football circle, he was known as "Eno". Around Victoria, Erv was best known as the owner/operator of V.I. Colormart Paint Store on Scott St., where he was frequently called upon for his expertise in the Paint Industry. He was a humble man, respected by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all. A funeral service will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson at Vancouver Street on Monday, April 30 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers are gratefully declined.
