MORSE - On Tuesday, August 6, 2002 GEORGE MORSE, late of Regina, SK passed away at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his parents Pamfil and Pelina; brothers Conn and Peter; and sisters Doris, Tillie and Annie; George is survived by his loving wife Eva of 56 years; daughter Liz (Bruce) Whittingham; step grandson Scott (Sheli) and their children Brandon and Garrett; step granddaughter Lee (Larry) Kram and their children Ryan and Chelsea; son Wilfred Allan; brother Dan (Elena); sisters Mary Brandt and Lena Ivanitz; sisters-in-law Mollie and Anne. Also saddened by his death are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whose lives he touched. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. in St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar St., Regina, SK with Rev. Fr. John Mancantelli and Rev. Fr. C. Turcoane, officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Prayers will be held on Friday, August 9, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. in the Helmsing Funeral Chapel, 2210 College Ave., Regina, SK. BOYCE - Irvin John of Regina, Sask., born November 22, 1925 passed away Saturday, June 29th, 2002. Predeceased by his wife Elva, parents John and May, sisters Muriel Gibson and Rita Hamm. Irvin will be sadly missed by his daughters Brenda (Keith) Bjorndahl, Regina, Connie Royal (Bob Hudson), Winnipeg, Marilyn Boyce, Regina, son Trevor (Tracy), Regina; his grandchildren Chris (Rhonda) Bjorndahl, Calgary, Brad (Elisa) Bjorndahl, Regina, Andrew (Sherry), Jon and Karyn Royal, Winnipeg; Shae-Lynn Boyce, Regina; great grandchildren Shanelle and Ryland Bjorndahl, Calgary. He is also survived by his sister Ila Fowler, Virden, Man.; as well as many nieces and nephews. FISCHER - Adolph "Curly" passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2002 at the age of 65 years. Adolph was predeceased by his mother Bertha, father Ernest, step-father Rudolph and one brother Irvin. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Darlene, along with his children: Connie (Ron) Rasmussen, Kathleen (Glen) Mergen, Karen, Christine (Ted) Kovacs, Kevin, Kelly, Cary. He also leaves to mourn his passing, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Herman (Joyce) Fischer, Larry Weise and one sister, Hanna (Les) Jones, numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering in his memory will be held at the Salvation Army McCarthy Park Community Church located at 832 McCarthy Blvd on Friday, July 5th, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

HUTYRA - Steve, late of Regina, age 75 years, passed away Saturday, June 29th, 2002 at the Pasqua Hospital. He is survived by his brothers: Peter (Pearl), Regina; Paul (Anastazia), Oshawa, ON; Basil (Eva), and sister-in-law Julia, all of Poland. His is also survived by his niece Irene, nephew Andrew (Barb) and their children Nicole and David; niece Irena (Zoltan) Kovacs and their children: Adrianna and Michael, all of Regina. Nephews John (Kelly) and Michael, Oshawa, ON, as well as nieces and nephews in Poland. The family would like to thank Shirley and Lawrence Boychuk and their staff for their support of Steve during the past two years and we also thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pasqua Hospital for Steve's care. JACKSON - Eileen de Montfort Jackson died peacefully in Pioneer Village Nursing Home, Regina, Sask., on June 27, 2002, at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Frederic in 1990, and by her sister Madge and brother Geoffrey. She is survived by her son Michael (Helen) and grandchildren John, Tanya and Sarah Anne; daughter Elizabeth (Peter) Susa, grandchildren Tavane (Don) Sanfilippo, Michael (Trena) Workman and Andrew (Janelle) Workman, and great-grandchildren Desi, Raffi and Codi Sanfilippo, Tavis and newborn baby Christian Workman, Carter Workman and Derek Ferguson; son Peter (Renee) and grandchildren Justin (Lorinda), Sarah, Luke and Emma; and daughter Catherine (Allan) Cusator. Born September 8, 1912, in Burma to a British military family, Eileen de Montfort Wellborne was educated in New Zealand, England and Germany. She taught at Havergal College, Toronto, and was a kindergarten teacher in London, England. After her marriage in 1939 she spent the war years with her husband in England, returning to Canada in 1946. From 1947 to 1958 they lived in Oakville, Ont., where Fred was rector of St. Jude's Anglican Church. In 1958 they moved to Regina, where he was the Rector of St. Paul's Cathedral and Dean of Qu'Appelle until 1960, Bishop of Qu'Appelle from 1960 to 1970, and Archbishop of Qu'Appelle and Metropolitan of Rupert's Land from 1970 to 1977. They then lived at Katepwa and Fort Qu'Appelle. Eileen was a lively and much-appreciated figure in the Diocese of Qu'Appelle. She taught kindergarten at Qu'Appelle Diocesan School. She had a great interest in Qu'Appelle House, the diocesan seniors' residence, where she was a leader in the auxiliary and was herself a resident from 1990 to 1999. From 2000 until her death she was a resident of Pioneer Village in Regina. The family expresses thanks to the staff of Pioneer Village for their loving care of Eileen during her final years. Funeral Liturgy and Solemn Eucharist will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul's Cathedral, 12th Ave & McIntyre St., Regina, with the Very Rev. James D. Merrett and the Rev. Michael Jackson presiding, assisted by the Rev. Blair Dixon. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Qu'Appelle House and St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Regina. Interment of ashes on Sunday, July 28, at 9:30 a.m. at All Saint's Church, Katepwa. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

DENCH, JEAN HELEN (LINDSAY-EWING) - Memorial Services will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens on June 22, 2002 at 11 AM, open to family and friends. Jean was born June 20, 1927 to Helen and James Lindsay-Ewing of Kennel district - Craven, Sask. Jean passed from this life on January 8, 2002 in Phoenix, Arizona where she managed the family business for many years. She was a remarkably hard worker, and will be remembered for her generous spirit and hospitality. Jean was predeceased by her husband Jack Dench in 1990, by her mother in 1930, her father in 1942, sisters Daisy Dunsmore in 1992 and Isabell Zerr in 1993. Jean is survived by two sons, Jon and Joel, and two grandsons, all of Phoenix; sisters Muriel Lindsay-Ewing of Regina and Mae Krogsgaard of Boston Bar, B.C.; brothers-in-law Sebastian Zerr and Borden Krogsgaard, and many nieces and nephews.
