October 14, 1960 - July 19, 2007
KONDRATOWICZ – Peter Paul Jr. was granted his angel wings on Thursday, July 19, 2007.
His sudden passing is a tragedy to all those who Peter touched in his short, yet very memorable life of 46 years.
He will be deeply cherished and forever loved.
Peter was a loving, protective, caring, and devoted husband and father – he was and will continue to be the rock and foundation for his three girls.
Peter leaves behind his precious wife Robyn of 24 years, and adoring daughters Kari and Kimberly.
Peter was one in a million and has left a legacy that is unmatched.
His other love was for his land and cattle.
His 38 years of hard work and commitment to agriculture began in Unity, SK.
He proudly farmed with his father and brothers.
His thirst for knowledge lead him to advance his studies in agriculture at the U of S as well as achieving his degree in welding at SIAST in Saskatoon.
It was here that Peter met the love of his life, Robyn.
They dreamed and discovered, and on July 30, 1982, they married and built the foundation of their life together.
In 1983, Peter became the proud father of his twin daughters, Kari and Kimberly.
An optimist and opportunist, Peter had the ability to inspire.
He was an innovator with a strong commitment and hard work ethic.
In pursuit of the next challenge Peter ambitiously began his second farming operation in Saskatoon while still managing to grain farm in Unity.
Peter was a professional pressure welder and lent his talent to Cogema Resources, Hitachi, and Saskatoon Boiler.
His engineer mind and math wizardry allowed him the ability to fix and invent many things; his proudest achievement being the development of the carbide scraper for Bourgault’s Mid-Row Banding System.
Peter had a unique gift for selecting quality cattle.
In 1996, Bar K Charolais opened their gates for business.
He was integral in his daughters lives teaching them everything he knew and especially teaching them his favorite art and pastime – judging cattle.
He could always pick the champion whether or not they were “in their work clothes” and his opinion was valued by many.
Peter grew Bar K Charolais to a 90 head purebred operation.
He was the Vice President of the Saskatchewan Charolais Association, a Sub-committee member of the Canadian Charolais Association, on the Board of Directors for Saskatoon Fall Fair, a 4-H Beef leader, and was highly involved in raising funds for 4-H and Charolais youth.
Peter loved to make people laugh and put a smile on someone’s face.
His charismatic charm and outgoing personality allowed him to have many friends.
His comforting embrace, hefty hugs, handshakes, his chuckle and grin, will be forever remembered.
Peter was adored and admired by his many nephews and nieces.
The love for his three girls was number one.
Together they enjoyed loving, laughing and chatting.
He gained an appreciation of wine and vacation and the foursome traveled to many tropical destinations from the beaches of Maui to the vineyards of the California valley.
He loved his “little Norwegian” and together they were a team.
He was also very proud of his daughters and enjoyed frequent trips to Vancouver.
Words cannot express how deeply he loved and was loved.
He will always be able to bring smiles through the tears.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Robyn; daughters, Kari and Kimberly; mother, Regina Kondratowicz; sisters and brothers, Mary Ann (Cliff) Schumack, John (Edie), Frank (Sandra), Sophia (George) Code, and Tony; sister-in-law, Martha Kondratowicz; mother-in-law, Della Pedersen; sisters-in-law, Pam (Greg) Tindall, Penny Tuckwell, Lana (Larry) Njaa; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
