MIKE MOULDING

Myron (Mike) Moulding passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 16, 2003, at the age of 77. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Lillian Moulding. Mike is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children: Kathy (Bob) Ward, Bill, Brent (Deb), Don, Mary (Rob) Thorn, and Chuck (Carol); sister, Dorothy (Bob) Swannell; and grandchildren: Linsey, Michael, Kimberly, Ryan, Erin, Marcus, Lisa, Nicholas, Scott, Jessica and Todd. Mike was born and raised in Moose Jaw and lived at 344 Hochelaga St. W. for most of his life. He was employed at P.F.R.A. and spent many years as manager. An early retirement allowed subsequent years of employment at Reid Crowther. Mike was active in the community with associations in the Kinsmen, the K40, and the Shrine Club. He had many interests: the summer cottage at Buffalo Pound Lake was enjoyed by family and many friends; hunting with sons and the Cabri boys; winter excursions to Phoenix/Hawaii; and no matter how busy, there was always time for a game of cribbage. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at the Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main St. N., Moose Jaw, on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorialization will take place privately at a later date. Memorials to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 104 – 2301 Ave. C. North, Saskatoon, S6L5Z5, or the Five Hills Health Region Home Care Services, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1H3, would be appreciated. In living memory of Mike, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

INGA GUSTAFSON

Inga Gustafson (nee Halstrom) of Regency Manor, Central Butte, passed away July 5, 2004 at the age of 93. Inga was born in Sweden on January 16, 1911. She married Nels G. Gustafson on April 1, 1932 and they resided and farmed in the Lawson district for many years, retiring to Moose Jaw in 1976. Following Nels’ death, Inga resided at the Rosewood Apts., later moving to Ina Grafton Gage Home. Inga moved to Regency Manor in April 2004. She is predeceased by her husband Nels in 1985; daughter Marion in 1958; and her parents B.G and Hilma Halstrom. Inga leaves to mourn, daughter Lorraine (Gil) Russell – Qualicum Beach, BC; sons: Boyd (Jean) – Riverhurst, and Barry (Gwen) – Calgary; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Riverhurst Community Hall on Thursday July 8, 2004 at 1:30 pm. Pastor Shirley Collard will officiate. Interment will follow at the Riverhurst Cemetery. Memorials to the Central Butte Health Care Foundation, Box 582, Central Butte, S0H 0T0, would be appreciated. In living memory of Inga, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by Prairie Memorial Funeral Home.

ANNA MAY DIXON

Anna May Dixon (nee McElroy) was born in Moose Jaw April 30, 1916 and left this world to rest in peace with her Lord and Savior on August 18, 2005. Mom's deep faith in God from a very early age was her strength throughout her life, as was her special devotion to Mary the mother of God. Anna May will be remembered and loved always as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom was always "on-call" to help and support her family whenever needed. She was the communication center for our widespread and growing family. Anna May was predeceased by Ernie her loving husband of 49 years, her parents and her only sister. She is survived by five children and their spouses: Rose (Bob) Ambrose of Moose Jaw; Linda (Norm) Spooner of Whitecourt; AB, Bob (Judy) Dixon of Moose Jaw; Theresa (Ed) Yohemas of St. Albert, AB and Brian (Terri) Dixon of Whitecourt, AB. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, special sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Throughout her life Anna May was an active and dedicated volunteer as is evident in her sixty year membership in St. Joseph's C.W.L. and many years with St. Anthony's Home Auxiliary, Providence Hospital Auxiliary and Providence Place Auxiliary. An Evening Prayer service will be held on Sunday August 21 at 7:00 p.m. at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel. The Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's R.C. Church on Monday August 22 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Fathers David Cottingham and Michael Conteh will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, for those so wishing, a memorial donation in Anna May's memory may be made to: National Catholic Broadcasting Council 21 Dunlop St, Richmond Hill ON L4C 2M6 in support of a live Mass on Television. In living memory of Anna May, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

EVELYN HALSALL

Evelyn Halsall of Moose Jaw, passed away March 20, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Evelyn was born at Mortlach on November 13, 1914. She attended Red School in that district. On June 8, 1940 she married John Halsall and the couple lived in Moose Jaw where Evelyn continued to live until the time of her passing. For the last number of years she has been a resident of the Pioneers Lodge. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, John; two sisters: Lillian (Thomas) Neill and Kathleen (Wilfred) Hurlbert; two brothers; Thomas Graves and Cyril Graves. She is survived by two sisters-in-law (her brothers wives), Olive and Sarah Graves along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 1:30 pm. Rev. Betty Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday evening 7-9 pm at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Memorials to St. George’s Anglican Church or the Pioneers Lodge, 1000 Albert St., Moose Jaw, S6H 2Y2 would be appreciated.

FRED TIMORUSKI

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our cherished husband, father and grandfather, Fred Timoruski. Fred passed away April 6, 2005, with his family by his side. He was born on December 8, 1931 in Springside, Saskatchewan. Fred began working for the C.P. Railway in 1952 in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, transferring to Moose Jaw in 1956 and retiring in 1990. He was very active in the community, coaching little league baseball and serving as president of Church Minor Hockey. He was a devoted and longstanding member of the No. 3 Masonic Lodge and the Moose Jaw Shrine Club. Both of these organizations played a large part in his retirement years as well as his family and his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Fred is predeceased by his parents, Metro and Eva Timoruski and his daughter, Shauna Lee in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; two sons: Garth (Sheila) and Terry (Tammy) and seven grandchildren: Adam, Morgan, Abby, Jesse, Chelsea, Tanner and Thomas; four sisters: Marj (Gil) Cox, Edith Springer, Barbara Widaiko and Faye (Dennis) Adair, one brother, Donald (Gladys) and their families. Following cremation, A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 10:30a.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Prairie Memorial Columbarium at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wa Wa Shrine Patient Transportation Fund, 2065 Hamilton Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3E1. In living memory of Fred, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

ALVERNA "JUNE" DOKKEN

Alverna “June” Dokken of Moose Jaw passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2004 after a short courageous battle with lung cancer, at the age of 76 years. June was born August 31, 1927 in Maple Leaf (Blairmore), AB, the second of five children born to Elizabeth and Lemert Smith. June was raised in Fernie, B.C. and returned there every summer with her family for a number of years. June married John Thomas Dokken on April 15, 1950 and during their marriage, she was a devoted homemaker as John’s career as a Professional Engineer took them to stops in Lethbridge, Seven Persons, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Moose Jaw and Red Deer. June was a community minded person serving with the Saskatoon Cosmopolitan Club and the Moose Jaw Lioness Club. She was especially fond of family gatherings and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. June was predeceased by her husband, John in 1995; her parents, Elizabeth in 1966 and Lemert in 1976; infant son, Earl David in 1965 and son, Dean in 1981; brother, Roderick in 1958 and sister, Marion in 1995. Left to treasure her memory are four sons: Wayne - Edmonton, AB; Glenn (Gordana) - Wetaskiwin, AB; Ward (Brenda) - Edmonton AB; Lorne - Moose Jaw; two daughters, Dianne (Marlow) Lisell and Susan Dokken (Robin Rogowski) - Moose Jaw; a sister, Francis (Jack) Clarke - Fernie, B.C. and a brother, Jack Smith - Cranbrook, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. June was the deeply fond grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. To Honour June’s Memory a Memorial Service will be held at Minto United Church, 1036, 7th Ave. N.W. Moose Jaw, SK on Monday April 19th, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. John Carley will officiate. Private family interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2. In living memory of June, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

LLOYD A. ANDERSON

LLOYD A. ANDERSON – Our precious Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully to his Heavenly Home on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by a brother, Ernie of Moose Jaw and sister, Betty of California, Lloyd is survived by his wife, Irene, their children and grandchildren: Joanne (Doug) Binner; Jordan, Joel and Jon of Mississauga, Ontario, and Shelley (Bill) Kinash; Andrea and Lindsey of Regina. Lloyd also is survived by his brother, Elmer (Lorraine) Anderson of Moose Jaw, his sister, Lenore (Don) Hines of South Dakota and his sister-in-law, Edna Anderson of Moose Jaw as well as several nieces and nephews. Dad’s sense of humour and his ability to make everyone feel comfortable, his strong faith and his love of family are gifts we will always cherish. Following cremation, A Celebration of Lloyd’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Pastor Barry Gammie will officiate. Memorialization will take place in the Mossbank Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Chapel Ministries, Moose Jaw or to the Associated Gospel Church, Mossbank. In living memory of Lloyd, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
