On March 15, 2003, Mom and Dad were blessed with 65 years of marriage. She appreciated her many friends who phoned and visited her during the last few months. She was truly blessed by your friendship. A special thank you to the Bentley staff and Home Care caregivers for all the extra help they gave Mom over the last few months and also to Dr. Rininsland for his compassionate care. She will be missed by her loving husband Vernon, daughter Elaine (Duane) Haukaas, son Garry (Margaret) Rowe, grandsons Randy (Liz) Haukaas, Greg (Rhonda, Beric, and Angela) Haukaas, and granddaughters Cathy (Tom, Dayna, and Brad) Clark, Tana (Michael, Brock, and Benjamin) Wourms Rowe. NED ANDREONI

A Celebration of "Coach A's" life will be held at The Ned Andreoni Gym at Vanier Collegiate on Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 2:30 pm
You are encouraged to wear golf shirts and casual dress, or Vanier red and black.
Long time Vanier Collegiate teacher and coach Ned Andreoni passed away Wednesday morning. Andreoni suffered a massive heart attack back on September 14th. He was rushed to the Regina General Hospital where doctors performed bypass surgery. He was in critical condition on full life support until this morning when his family said goodbye. Coach "A" touched a lot of lives in his 35-plus years in our community. Our thoughts and prayers with the Andreoni Family today. Andreoni came to us from California to play baseball as an import on Moose Jaw's senior baseball club in the old Saskatchewan Major Baseball League. He spent many years as the star shortstop for the old Moose Jaw Devons.
He caught on as a teacher at Vanier Collegiate and never left, choosing to stay with us and teach and coach here in Moose Jaw. Always happy, always approaching tasks with energy and enthusiasm, Andreoni never said goodbye to anyone. He'd just make us smile with his trademark phrase, "I'll check ya later!"
Memorials to the Ned Andreoni Scholarship Fund, may be forwarded directly to TD Canada Trust, 145 Main Street North, Moose Jaw, S6H 0V9
