SAVARY, Daisy Ola - 68, Bear River, Annapolis Co., died April 16, 1999, in Digby General Hospital. Born in bear River, she was a daughter of the late Gifford and Agnes (Kerr) Robbins. Surviving are companion, Willard Thurber; sisters, Barbara Robbins, Bear River; Emily Walker, Virginia, USA; brothers, Rex, Bear River; Dale, Dartmouth; five nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Glenn; brother, Arthur. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 10 a.m. Monday, all in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, Rev. Ed Shaw officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River. Donations to any charity.

SAULNIER, Gustave J. - 82, Saulnierville Station, Digby Co., died February 14, 1999, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St. Benoni, Digby Co., he was a son of the late Siford and Leonie (Comeau) Saulnier. Surviving are his wife, Elsie; sons Robert, Hector, Yvon, Saulnierville; daughters, Nelida (Mrs. Russell Lombard), Saulnierville; brother, Amedee, Halifax; sister, Pauline (Mrs. Clarence Comeau), Saulnierville; six grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Norbert, Victor in infancy; grandson, Real; brothers, Emile, Joe, Leger, Camille, Delbe; sisters, Rose-Emma, Elizabeth. Funeral 10 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Saulnierville, Rev. Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home.

WEIR, Alexander Edward "Ted"
WEIR, Alexander Edward "Ted" - 72, Digby, died February 14, 1999, in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late G. Reginald and Barbara Calder (Banks) Weir. He was an active member of Digby United Baptist Church; member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 20; Kings Soloman Masonic Lodge, and active member of Digby Historical Society, Digby Horticultural Society, Digby Tree Committee and Digby Hospice Society. Surviving are sister, Jean MacMillan, Digby; two nieces; four nephews; several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by brother, G. Robert. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m., legion service 7 p.m., Masonic service 7:30 p.m., all today in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in Digby United Baptist Church, Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Burial in Digby Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity.

ST. LOUIS, La'sel Judith Cassidy - Infant daughter of Steven and Wanda (Waterman) St. Louis, Bear River, Annapolis Co., died February 12, 1999, in Regional Health Centre, Yarmouth. Surviving besides her parents are brother, Bill Waterman, at home; maternal grandparents, Rev. Earl and Pat Waterman, Bear River; paternal grandmother, Judy (Mrs. Murray D'Ambrose), Barton; paternal grandfather, George St. Louis, Cape Breton; paternal great-grandmother, Cecilia Singer, Mount Uniacke; maternal great-grandparents, Earl and Ethel Waterman, Vermont, United States; two aunts; three uncles; a cousin; God parents, David Meuse and Rose Marie Parker Meuse, Bear River. Visitation at the family residence of Steven and Wanda St. Louis, 36 Sessions St., Bear River. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in Advent Christian Church, Landsdowne, Rev. Ken Perkins officiating. Burial in St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bear River First Nation. Arrangements entrusted to Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby.

MULLEN, Reginald "Reg"
MULLEN, Reginald "Reg" - 89, Nepean, formerly of Halifax, died September 11, 1999, in Ottawa. Born in Riverdale, Digby Co., he was a son of the late David and Sarah (Sabean) Mullen. Prior to moving to Ontario he was a resident of Northwood Manor and was a member of the Residents Association. He will also be fondly remembered by friends at the Starwood Nursing Home. He was dear father of Jean Laprade (Paul) and Edward (Helen) and loving grandfather of Andrew, Stephanie, Michael and Shelly. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Bridget Marie Boutilier, two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax and where funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

WISEMAN, G. Gregory "Greg" - 44, Digby, died May 3, 2000. Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Mary (MacIntyre) and the late John William Wiseman. He was employed for over 24 years with the Department of Social Services, Province of Nova Scotia and he worked in Sydney, Port Hawkesbury, Guysborough, Digby and Kentville. He was a graduate of St. Michael's High School, Glace Bay, St. F.X. University and Dalhousie University. Surviving are his wife, the former Lee Churchill; daughter, Sarah Catherine; brothers, William, Sydney; James, Upper Marlborough, Md.; Donald, Glace Bay; sisters, Theresa Gertrude, Nutter, Raleigh, N.C., Betty Doucette, Riverview, N.B.; Joan Gillis, Antigonish; June Thomas, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by brother, John Joseph "Bob". There will be no visitation. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Anne's Church, 10 a.m. Monday, Rev. Doug Murphy officiating. Burial to follow in parish cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Glace Bay Food Bank or any charity. Arrangements under the direction of Curry's Funeral Home Ltd., Glace Bay.

MUNRO, Janet Sabra - 97, East Ferry, Digby Co., died February 18, 2000, in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Jenny (Flanders) Warren. She was past Nobel Grand and oldest member of the Zelma Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are daughter, Olive Morehouse, East Ferry, Digby Co.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Dunn, Stella Nichols, Digby. She was predeceased by her husband, Innes Munro; sisters, Elma, Birdie; half-sisters, Grace, Gladys, Maude; brothers, Bill, Joe. No visitation by request. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, Rev. Jane Clattenburg officiating. Burial in the Digby Baptist Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to IWK Grace Foundation, Halifax.
