HALL, Peggy Ilene (nee Kramer) - At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, October 6, 2006, Peggy Ilene Hall of Woodstock and formerly of Princeton, in her 71st year; beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Hall (1979); dear mother of Jack (Audrey), Bill (Mary), Jay (Sally), Rick and Jamie; loved grandmother of several grandchildren; dear sister of Shirley Kramer, Harold and Harvey Kramer, and sister-in-law of Don Williams; predeceased by sister Joan Williams and brothers Howard and Bill. Friends may call at the RD. HAMMER, Hilda Emily (nee Instrall) - Entered into her eternal resting place after a short illness on October 4th, 2006. Born October 12th, 1913, Hilda was a lifelong resident of Brantford, Ontario. Daughter of the late Henry Edward Instrall and Ethel Hilda Benson. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Burbank Hammer (1974) and her infant daughter Helen (1941). Cherished mother of Raymond, Fort Myers, Fl; Barbara Thorell (Robert), West Palm Beach, Fl; Beverly Chatterson (Ralph), Hollywood, Fl; David (Laurel), Brantford; Diane Sampson (Michael), Brantford; Dennis (Ann), Hamilton. Loving Nanny to Kimberly and Michael Hammer; Robbie and Andrew Thorell; Gregory Morey; Matthew Chatterson, Michele (Bradley) Cook; Karisa, Erin and Erica Hammer; Crystal Wright, Philip Sampson; Colin Hammer, Cassie and Nicole Mizzi; Great-Grandma to Avery, Jessalyn, Corrina, Abigail, Whitney and Daniel. Also survived by her brother John Instrall; sister and brother-in-law Myrtle and Chuck Minnie and Edith Hammer; special nieces Wendy Seath and Norma Savory; as well as many more nieces, nephews and friends. Hilda was a member of First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Brant Artillery Gunners Club. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street on Monday from 2 - 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Edith (nee Jackson) Meridew

MERIDEW, Edith (nee Jackson) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, of Paris, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald (1998); loved mom to Richard of Kamloops, BC, Susan Taylor of Brantford and Jeff (Gudi) of Dallas, TX; cherished grandma to Jason DeAngelis (Diane), Cristina Taylor (Josh) and Sandra and Alex Meridew; Special Gigi to Alexia DeAngelis and Madison Winters; dear sister to Mabel MacPhail, Irene and Millie Jackson, Florence Penner, Gladys Hudema, Leila Anderson (John), Laura Kreager (Fred) and Carol Spurgeon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henrietta and Frederick Jackson. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the WM. MINSHALL, Kenneth - Entered into rest at the Norcliffe Lifecare Centre, Hagersville on Friday, October the 6th, 2006. Ken Minshall of Caledonia in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Pauline Almas. Dear father of Wayne and his wife Carmen of Montreal and Ron and wife Lorrie of Caledonia. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and his sister Joyce McCormac of Brantford. Predeceased by his brothers George and Bill. The funeral will take place from the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, CALEDONIA on Wednesday, October 11 at 11:00 am. Interment Thursday at 11:00 am in the Nestleton United Church cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 7-9 p.m. If so desired memorial donations to the Congregational Church would be appreciated by the family.

Kathleen “Kay“ Tucker

TUCKER, Kathleen “Kay“ - Formerly Lennington, Cassidy, (nee McGinnis). passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2006 at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of the late William Tucker and Walter Lennington. Dearly missed by her children Kathy, Barbara, Sharon, Shirley, Jim, Ben, Tom, Brendon and Kevin. Predeceased by her daughter Edna, great-granddaughter Angel, parents Donald and Frances, twin sister Mary, sisters Marie, Mildred and Bertha, and brothers Donald, Joseph and William. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Edna, Laura and Dorothy. Kay will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends. WEBSTER, JACK - Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and friends Jack was promoted to Glory on Sunday September 3rd 2006 Beloved husband of Beverly Shibley. Loving father of Wendy Webster Cindy Webster, John and Chad Webster. Loved grandfather of Troy McDonald (Shannon Kellett), Lance Webster and Nolan Webster Palikko Dear son of the late John Andrew Webster and Theresa Elizabeth Webster. Fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers. Ken Webster, Marie Gilpin, Pat O'Conner, Mary Pople, Jacqueline Webster, and predeceased by Doris Webster, Tim Webster and Julie Webster. JENSEN, Denni - passed away suddenly and peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2006. Denni Jensen of Innisfil/Barrie, Beloved son of Inga and Kaj Jensen of Barrie. Survived by daughter Denise (Wade) Morris and grandchildren Rachel and Ryan. He will also be remembered by brothers, Tom, Steve, Jan, and sister Susan, plus many nieces and nephews. His wishes for no funeral visitation will be honored by the family. A private inurnment service will take place on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 pm. MCELWAIN - Janet R. (Nettie) - passed away peacefully at the Sara Vista Nursing Centre, Elmvale on Monday, October 16, 2006. Nettie McElwain, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Russell McElwain. Dear sister of the late Agnes (Nanny) Hopkins, Matt and Jim Hopkins. Nettie will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. STURGESS, DAVID WILIAM - Suddenly in Gaspereault, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, on October 7, 2006. David Sturgess of Elliotvale, age 66 years. Beloved husband of Lilianne (nee Larocque). Loving father of George (Donna) Sturgess, Fanningbrook, Janet (Alan) Doucette, Moncton and Heather (Ricky) Jamieson, Lower Montaque. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dear brother of Jim (Linda) Sturgess, Victoria Harbour, Mary (John) Stewart, Angus, Dawn (Ken) Black, Thornton, Margaret (Keith) Lockhart, Barrie, Walter (Judy) Sturgess, Barrie, Chris (Tammy) Sturgess, Alcona. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Ethel Sturgess and brother Lee Alfred Sturgess. Resting at Ferguson's Montaque Funeral Home. Service was held in the chapel on Tuesday October 10, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Interment in the Community Park cemetery.

JoAnne Marie Carpenter

CARPENTER, JoAnne Marie - Peacefully with her beloved husband Donn by her side, JoAnne Marie Carpenter passed away on Monday October 16, 2006 in Chatham. JoAnne was born in Iroquois Falls 50 years ago to her parents Roger and Rita Sauve. She and Donn were married on October 4, 1978 and spent a number of years in Calgary where their two children were born. Their son Justin married his wife Giulia this past July and now lives in Barrie. Their daughter Jolene passed away at the age of 11 months. Joanne is fondly remembered by her sister in law Theresa Timm and by her niece Debbie Summerfield. At JoAnne's request there will be no Funeral Home visitation. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Southwestern Regional Centre where JoAnne was employed for many years. MacDONALD, Robert Grant - Called home to the Lord with his family at his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, October 16, 2006, Robert Grant MacDonald, age 62 of Chatham, beloved husband of Linda (L'Ecuyer) MacDonald and the late Joy MacDonald (1997). Born in Chatham in 1944, son of the late Belva Carroll and Ian MacDonald, Robert worked for Bradley Meadows for over 25 years. Loving father of Tracy Roman and her husband Terry of London, Cheryl MacDonald and her companion Rob St.Jean of Chatham, Kira Cameron and her husband Maxwell of Windsor and Brian Carnochan of Fort McMurray Alberta. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Matt, Adam, Ian, Logan and Ewen. Sadly missed by his in laws Barbara and Phillip L'Ecuyer of Chatham. Martin died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sue (Maybee) Martin for 39 years. Loving father of Tim and Christine Martin of Oakville and Dan and Carolyn Martin of Chatham. Much loved grandpa of Thomas George Martin of Chatham. Born in Strathroy, son of the late Kenneth and Vivian (Mitchell) Martin. Brother of Ray and Margaret Martin of Ottawa, Ernie Martin of Strathroy, Jeanne and John Van Rossum of London and the late Ken Martin. Brother-in-law of Loretta Martin of LaSallette, Sandi and Duane Howes and Ted and Betty Maybee, all of Thunder Bay. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. After his retirement from Bell Canada in 1999, George immersed himself in his true passions- woodworking and cooking. The fruits of his labours will be missed by many while his workshop creations continue to bring joy and comfort. Vi McIntosh, wife of the late Robert Campbell (Cam) McIntosh. Mother of Robert (Bob) McIntosh of Toronto, Terry (and Fritz) Schuller of Collingwood, Jim McIntosh (and Jaci Wanless) of Wasaga Beach. Nana to Alicia (Rick) Savage, Heidi (Jim) Rumball, Kristen McIntosh and Tyler McIntosh. Great- grandmother of 5. A private family service was held Sat., Oct. 14th. Interment , Anglican Church cemetery , Batteaux. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Sunset Manor Bus Fund.

SIPPREL, Clara Ethel Margaret (nee Leach)

Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late Harry Sipprel, Ethel will be missed by her niece Marion and husband Harry Johnson, and her nephew Robert and wife Penny Leach. Also fondly remembered by many great nieces and nephews. Ethel is predeceased by her siblings James, Joseph, Isabel, Jean and William and parents Clara and William Leach.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, June 24, 2002 at the Church of the Redeemer, Duntroon, at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Ashes at Church of the Redeemer cemetery.
