(WWII Veteran - RAF). Peacefully, passed away at Versa Care Centre, Uxbridge on Tuesday, August 28, 2001, in his 87th year. Jack Heath, dearly beloved husband of the late Freda (Middleton) Heath and Alice (Coombs) Heath. Loving father of Christine and Keith Page, Linda and Dave McCrindle, Craig and Debra Lindsay, and Scott and Sue Lindsay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Brett and wife Danielle, Kyle and Lori, Erin, Jana, Ken and Matthew, Predeceased by his sister Cissie Brassington. Friends may call at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Friday, August 31, 2001 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Dear sister of Esmond Kelly and his wifeBertha, John Kelly and his wife Darlene. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Joseph, Melissa, Kevin, Kayleigh, Chyla, Blame and Johnny. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. East with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday September 1st, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Thornton cemetery. Everett Samis, beloved husband of Rev. Dorothy Samis of Cobourg and predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Langford. Predeceased by his son Allen and survived by his daughter in law Lorraine of Cobourg. Dear grandfather of Robert, Michael and Carolyn Samis. Dear step father of Douglas Hamill of Godfrey, Larry Hamill of Kenora, Ferne Lawson of Oshawa, Carol McLeod of Oshawa, Sheila Herron of Cobourg, predeceased by William Hamill, survived by Linda Bull of Brampton, Merla Lonsberry of Toronto, Leslie Lonsberry of Cobourg, Carman Lonsberry of Pickering, Glenn Lonsberry of Cleveland, Cheryl Farrell of Brantford, C.J. Cammack of Cobourg, Maureen White of Toronto, Roger Lonsberry of Chicago. Also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Harold Samis. Funeral service will be held at the MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King Street E., Cobourg on Thursday, August 30, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment Fairview cemetery , Grafton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Members of the Masonic Lodge to assemble for a service Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Members of the Eastern Star to assemble for a service Wednesday at 7:20 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial donations by cheque to the Northumberland Health Care Foundation or the ALS society.
