LYDALL, Edwin Joseph Retired Superintendent, R.C.M.P. LTCLATCM Peacefully at Starwood Nursing Home on Saturday June 17, 2000 in his 86th year. Ted Lydall of Nepean and formerly of Shawville, PQ, beloved husband of Catherine Cameron. Dear father of Dianne Lydall of Nepean, Brian (Fely) of Vancouver, B.C., Sandra McTavish (Dan) of Pickering and Stephen (Delores) of Nepean. Loving grandfather of Meiko and Cameron Lydall and Monica and Heather McTavish. Brother of Lt.Col. Mary Lydall of St. John's, NFLD. Ted was cornet and trumpet soloist and Assistant Director of Music for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Band from 1938 to 1948 and served as its longest director of music from 1948 to 1968. He directed the band in traditional classics, light modern favorites and included in his programme a small chorus group and a very popular marching and retreat ceremony. While under his direction the band supplied the music for the Musical Ride and each year was duty band at the National War Memorial November 11th Remembrance Day Ceremonies. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Those wishing, may make memorial donations to the charity of their choice.

Marion was the Medical Receptionist for Dr. F.A. Davies for many years. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, June 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the family plot at Beechwood cemetery. Memorial donations to the Restoration Fund at Christ Church Cathedral would be appreciated.

Bill will be missed by his partner Shannon Doyle, mother Marg, father Bill, sister Lynn, brothers Dan, Ian, Greg and David, many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends and associates in Toronto, Ottawa and across Canada. MORRISON, Murray John Suddenly at St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday June 12, 2000 in his 53rd year. Much loved son of Flora Morrison Belsey and the late Lloyd Morrison. Cherished "Bubby" of Suzanne Tyrell and best friend of brother-in-law Patrick Tyrell. Survived by his ever caring wife Kathy and sons David and Scott. Loving uncle of Ryan, Travis and Drew. Respected step-son of Bill Belsey. Born in Ottawa, Murray was involved in live theatre at the NAC and became a key member of the Shaw Festival in Niagara-On-The-Lake where he resided since 1984. Murray was renowned for his scenic engineering and had a gift for turning a designers' idea into reality. Following a car accident in 1992, Murray has had a battle overcoming his injuries and we all pray he is at peace. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Homes, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Wednesday, June 21 from 1 - 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Pinecrest cemetery. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and Nanny to all who came in contact with her. Predeceased by her husband Clarence; her beloved son Jack; grandson Stephen and granddaughter Sandra; parents S.L. (Sid) Sherwood and Mary McConneghy; brothers Robert, Peter Crossley and Colin; loving sister Dorothy. Nanny Pearl leaves sons Keith (Cecelia), Peter (Marilyn), Robert (Linda), Barry (Romeo) and daughters Beverly (Roy Bigelow) and Debbie (Bill Bishop). Much loved grandmother of 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and "Morris". "She spoiled all of us". Special thanks to the caring doctors and staff of the 6th floor at the General Hospital and her friend Pat Chartrand. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Rd.
