Frost, Alston Jane

Date of Death: March 29th 2003
Frost, Alston Jane Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, March 29, 2003. Jane Frost (nee Ireland ) of Owen Sound in her 77th year. Wife of the late William Frost. Loved mother of William and his wife Wilma and Nancy and her husband Micheal Cain all of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by three grandchildren Stephen, Eric and Jonathan. Also survived by her sister Katherine (Kay) Watterson of Owen Sound. Predeceased by a daughter Jennifer Ann Frost. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home (376-3710) for visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 o clock with Rev. Roy Cowieson officiating. Interment , Greenwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the G.B.R.H.C. Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Hansler, Wilda

Date of Death: April 4th 2003
Hansler, Wilda At Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Friday, April 4, 2003. Wilda Hansler (nee Gault) of Owen Sound in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Harry Hansler. Dear mother of Terry Hansler and his friend Janet of Owen Sound and Robert Hansler and his wife Catherine of Holland Centre. Lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren, Terrance, Michael, Robert Jr., Amanda, Justin and Matthew and her four great-grandchildren Bradley, Brandon, Baylee and Austin. Predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home (376-3710) for visiting on Sunday evening from 7 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, April 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Patti Armstrong of Trinity and Woodford United Church officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant cemetery , Georgian Bluffs. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Kuhl, Otto Alfred

Date of Death: May 23rd 2003
Kuhl, Otto Alfred Son of Julius and Mary Kuhl, born May 19, 1917 slipped peacefully into heaven on Friday, May 23, 2003 at Hannah Walker Place in Owen Sound. An extensive Sullivan Township farmer with a remarkable eye for cattle, Otto operated the Melbourne Livestock Auction near London before retiring to his West Shore home in Owen Sound. An ardent curler, he enjoyed birds and loved to fish. Predeceased by his wife Luella (nee Karn), they enjoyed summers at their Sauble Beach Cottage, travelling, gardening and their family. Father of the late Brenda Beckett (Mrs. Don Beckett), Marylon Hall and her husband Everett, Sandra Smith and her friend Jim McCrae, Terry Kuhl and his wife Donna (nee Garvie) and Wendy McKee and her husband Glen. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Earl Hall and Lori Stewart, Kevin Smith and Michelle Smith, Teresa Irvine, Deborah, Trevor and Dennis Kuhl and Angela, Christine, Rob and Brent McKee. Great-grandfather to Chantalle, Andre, Justin, Jessica, Payton and Claire. Also survived by his loving sister, Mary Garvie and brother George Kuhl. Predeceased by Gordon, Viola, Harold, Ernie and Alvin. Remembered as a kind and caring man. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Tannahill Funeral Home on Monday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment in Faith Lutheran cemetery , Desboro. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Desboro Fall Fair or the Arthritis Society.

Lundy, Jeanetta May At Summit Place on Thursday, March 20, 2003. Jane Lundy formerly of Kemble in her 85th year. Wife of the late Frank Lundy and the late Matthew Tomlinson. Dear mother of Keith Tomlinson and his wife Toni or Victoria, B.C., Eugene Lundy, Karen and her husband Brad Robart, Charles Lundy and his wife Carol Anne all of R.R. #1, Kemble and Frances and her husband Rick Waite of R.R. #5, Owen Sound. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Gladys and her husband Clarence Coxon of Desboro, the late Elizabeth Lorenz and the late Cameron Ward. Sister in law of Betty Cameron of Pike Bay and Jean Lundy of R.R. #3, Hepworth. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Murray officiating. Interment , Greenwood cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Kemble United Church would be appreciated.

Morrow, Murray Ronald

Morrow, Murray Ronald Moe Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, May 5, 2003. Moe Morrow of Owen Sound in his 56th year. Beloved companion of Bonnie Fromager. Dear father of Stacey and her husband John Fearnall of Owen Sound, Tanya and her husband Brian Moore of Whitby and Ryan Morrow of Owen Sound. Grandfather of Autumn, Tyya, Taegan and Ethan. Also survived by his brother Larry Morrow and his wife Jane of Guelph and a sister Elaine Hutchinson of London. Moe will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will be conducted on Thursday. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Murray, Thomas Redfern Tom was born in Owen Sound on July 24, 1916. Son of the late Thomas Murray and Edith Redfern. He passed away peacefully in Owen Sound on Sunday evening, March 9, 2003 in his 87th year. He is survived by his wife Katharina and his sons Harold and John. A funeral service will be held at Division Street United Church, 997 4th Avenue, East, Owen Sound on Thursday, March 13th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Keith Reynolds officiating. Visiting with the family one hour prior to service time. A reception will follow the service at the church. Interment in Greenwood cemetery , Owen Sound. Loved father of Edwin and his wife Patti of Ottawa, Margaret and her husband Jeff Jackson of Newmarket and Joan and her husband Rob Croft of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by six grandchildren Daniel, Aaron and Julia Vopni, Sarah and Elisa Jackson and Breanna Croft. Also survived by a sister and two brothers. Predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Beloved wife of Glyn Shorty Warner. Dear mother of Wanda Warner and Tim Middleton, Glynda and her husband David Stewart, Gail Turner and her friend George Lowe all of Owen Sound. Special mom of Darlene Warner, Michael Warner and Lois and her husband Rick Marquis all of Owen Sound, Sandy and her husband Calvin Pascoe of Alliston and Tammy and her husband Pete Campbell of Collingwood. Sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Georgina Emerson and two stepbrothers Bradley and Larry Booey. Predeceased by two brothers Herbie and Cliff Booey. Olive will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
