Brown: Helen Margaret Peacefully with her family at her side at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville on May 24 2003, Helen (Nichol) Brown age 77 years, devoted wife of the late Donald Brown , loving mother of Kirk Brown of Hagersville, sister of the late Olive Awde, Hazel Nichol, Allie Aitchison & James Nichol, sister-in-law of Madeline Nichol of Hagersville & Betty & James Addison of Dunnville, & the late Verna & Howard Daniels Sr. & Stanley & Helen Brown, also fondly remembered by several nieces & nephews. Helen was involved for many years with the family business, Brown’s Food Master Red & White, Hagersville, also a member of the Assembly of Friends, Janet Bonney Friendship Group & the R.C.L. Branch # 164 Aux. The Family will honour Helen’s life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Service in the Hyde & Mott Chapel on Tuesday at 2pm. Cremation with burial of cremated remains at the Hagersville Cemetery at a later date. Loving father of Brenda and Barbara (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Andrea (Dave), Rose-Ann, Ryan, Jeff, Aaron, Donald and great-grandfather of Benjamin. Predeceased by brother George. Don was a WWII Veteran, serving from 1935-1967 in the RCAF. He received the Croix de Guerre with Silver Star and the France and German Star Defence Medal.
