Passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, April 1st, 2001 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Guy Victor Bloomfield. Dear mother of Ray Bloomfield of Parry Sound and Beryl (Mrs. Boyd Scheffee) of Lindsay. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. At Mrs. Bloomfield's request, there will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0 286-2181.

HANCOCK, Margaret Ellen

Passed away peacefully at the Haliburton Hospital on Thursday, April 5th, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Max Hancock. Dear mother of Joyce and the late Alan Brown, Dorothy and Fay Reid, Wilf and Norma Hancock, Joe and Nancy Hancock, Faye and Garey Dewey and Timothy and Jean Hancock. Dear grandmother of Leslie, Sandra, Julie, Karen, Andrea, Jill, Nicole, Kathy, Jeff, Marci, Ben and Amanda-Jo, predeceased by Jodie and Jamie. Loving great grandmother of 17 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Frederick and Melville Simmons and predeceased by Agnes Graham, Emma Simmons, Mary Graham, George, Edward, Stanley, William, Herbert and Learie Simmons. Friends were invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 7th, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment Kinmount Cemetery. Memorial Donations to St. John's Anglican Church, Irondale; the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (H.H.H.S.F.) or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

BURSEY, Elsie

Peacefully, on Thursday, June 14, 2001 at the Versa Care Centre, Uxbridge. In her 91st year. Elsie, beloved wife of the late Ancel. Survived by her sister Lois and her husband of Bateau Bay, Australia. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held Monday, June 18, 2001 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto at 11:30 a.m. In Elsie's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge (905) 852-3073.

CLARK, Hazel Marie

Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Hyland Crest Senior Citizens Home, Minden, on Friday, June 15, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Clark, dear mother of Norma Lees of Toronto and Herb (Marlene) Clark of Kinmount. Loving (Nanny Noonie) grandmother of Kim (Derek) Warburton, Debbie (Dave) Lowe, Butch (Barb) Lees, Cindy (Keith) Roberts, Larry (Robin) Clark, Julie (Ted) Probosczc, and Dave (Rachel) Clark. Loving sister of Eileen, Peggy and Dorothy. Predeceased by son-in-law Al Lees and brothers Bill, Norm and Herb Christie. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Hyland Crest Residents Council or the Minden Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Dear mother of Bob and his wife Diane of Scarborough and Sue and her husband Bob Black of Mississauga. Loving grandmother of Sharron and Angela, Sarah and Rachel. Fondly remembered by her sisters Dorothy Vivian of Warminster, Eunice Burt of Moonstone, Jennie Kerswell of Gravenhurst; by her brothers Albert Johnston of Orillia, Archie Johnston and wife Lois of Foxmead and predeceased by sisters Mildred Thomkins, Luella Bolyea and by brothers Russell, William and Gordon. Fondly remembered by his nephews Barry, Larry, Guy, Michael, by his niece Marlene and by their families. Doug will be sorrowfully missed by his spiritual family, the Haliburton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Loving grandmother of Karen and Janet Derry, Glenn, Kimberley and Sarah McGuire. Survived by her dear sisters Mabel, Ruby and her step-family. Dear grandmother of Eric Patrick of San Francisco, Randy and his wife Cheryl-Ann Bull of Haliburton, Ian Patrick of Daytona Beach, Florida, Kari Cantineri of Kissimmee, Florida, Joseph Cantineri of Clearwater, Florida, Lisa and Sarah Cantineri of Odessa, N.Y., and great-grandmother of Tyler-Jake Bull.
