At the North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre, Deep River on Tuesday, October 28th, 2003. Veronica Mary "Bonnie" Telford (nee Bonneville) of Deep River, beloved wife of Bertram Telford. Loving mother of Robert "Bob" (Brenda) of Niagara Falls. Caring grandmother of Darryl (Rachel) of Toronto. Predeceased by daughter Ann, by sister Marguerite Mahon and by brother Paul Bonneville. Visitation was at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deep River on Friday, October 31st, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment Community cemetery , Deep River. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre would be appreciated. Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.

SULLIVAN, Thomas Roy

At Deep River and District Hospital on Wednesday, March 24, 2004. Roy Sullivan age 83 years. Dear brother of Ilene Rogers of Burlington and Lillian Stewart of North Bay. Predeceased by two brothers Leo and William Sullivan Jr. And a sister Tressa Steward. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his cherished "little dog" Cocoa. Friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. followed by cremation. In memoriam donation to the Deep River and District Hospital would be gratefully appreciated.

MERRILL, Mary (nee Walcott)

At the age of 82. passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 17, 2004 at the Deep River Hospital. Loving wife of Curtis. Cherished mother of Bob, Greg, Janice and extended family. Reunited in Heaven with her sons Bill, Jeff and David.

Cherished grandfather of Richard, Todd, Alex and Céline Boulanger. Friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Chalk River on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Anthony Parish cemetery , Chalk River (in the spring). Suddenly at home, Saltspring Island, B.C. on March 7, 2004, in her 82nd year. Formerly of Deep River, predeceased by her husband Mike Byrne in 1991. Survived by her brother Ken in N. Ireland. Loving mother of Avril (Andy) Gemmell, Niagara-On-The-Lake; Michael (Anne) Saltspring Island and Colleen (George) Moore, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Cherished Nanny to Michael (Cheryl) Gemmell, Michelle Byrne (fiance Dale Konschuh): Derek (Lisa) Byrne, Shelley (Bill) Ford and Stacey Rabishaw (fiance Brendan Cuddihy). Great grandmother of Jessica, Tianna Lee and Cole. The family received friends on Saturday at a gathering on Saltspring Island. Mabel will be missed by many friends and relatives.

Wife of the late John Stuart Hocking. Mother of Jean (Bill) McMaster, Tweed; Bryan (Lisa) Hocking, Etobicoke; Barbara Hocking, Deep River. Sister of the late Crystal Bailey, Alice Smith, Leslie Fraser, Gertrude Pounder, Roy Fraser, Russ Fraser, Den Fraser, Harvey Fraser, Ida Fraser. Sister in law of Bernice Fraser, Pembroke. Grandmother of Chris (Shannon) McMaster, Jon (Andrea) McMaster, Keri (Noel) Julien, Holly McMaster, Elizabeth McMaster, Candice McMaster, Cory Hocking, Amy Hocking, Amanda Hocking, Andrew Hocking and the late Jeff McMaster. Great-grandmother of Connor & Kelsey Julien. The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home, Tweed from 7-9 Wednesday. Loving mother of Joan, Douglas, Leona, (Reverend Philip L.), Steven, Jane, Gail and daughter-in-law Rosi. Predeceased by her youngest son Joseph Baden and infant son Gregory. Loving grandmother of Jonathan, Nancy (Jon Rickard), Audrey, Evan, Francisco, Jordan, Melissa, Megan, Christian, Nicole and Theo. Great-grandmother of Kenedy. Dear sister of Jeanette Brady of Nanaimo and Thelma Wilson of Sundridge. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late James and Ellen (nee Fleming) Driver. Predeceased by brothers Cecil, Gideon, Joseph, Basil (Pat) and Baden and sisters Gertrude, Leona (Lena) and Beatrice. After a brief struggle on his first day of life on Monday 9th February 2004 at the McMaster Medical Centre, Hamilton.
Joshua beloved son of Joe and Charmian Munch (nee Ploc) of Kitchener. Loving grandson of Joe and Isabelle Munch and Bob and Margaret Ploc all of Deep River. Loving father of Jim and his wife Dianne, Paul and his wife Gaynor, and Margaret and her husband Ronald Mandziak. Dear grandfather of Ronald and Sandra. Frank will be sadly missed by his sisters Sheila and Mary. Predeceased by brothers Pierce, Vincent, Wilfred, Raymond, George and sister Bernice. Arrangements were held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St., West., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Dorothy Francis and her husband Hayden and Howard Griese and his wife Iva all of Pembroke. Predeceased by two brothers Clifford and Cecil Griese. Friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Monday from 7-9 P.M.
