We watched you suffer,
We heard you sigh,
All we could do was stand by.
For when your time came,
We suffered too,
You never deserved,
All you went through.
God took your hand,
From our hands you part,
He released your pain,
But broke our hearts.
We think of you silence,
We will often speak your name,
All we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
We know you will always live on through us,
Although our hearts cannot see,
Why God needed you so soon,
We understand in His arms you will be.
