CAIRNS - Elizabeth Cairns, passed away at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre on Saturday, November 22, 1997 at the age of 51 years. Liz was born on July 16, 1946 at Listowel, Ontario. Liz is survived by a son, two daughters and a son-in-law, Hilary Bartolome (Dale), Allison Cairns and Charles Cairns, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father Frank Cooke of Guelph, Ontario; and brother and sister-in-law Christopher (Rosemary) Cooke of Calgary. She will be missed by her family and many friends for her dignity, hospitality and sense of humor. She was predeceased by her mother Frances Cooke. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Fish Creek Chapel" (14441 Bannister Road S.E.), on Friday, November 28, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made directly to the Alberta Breast Cancer Foundation, 13160 - 118 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5L 2L5. CALLAGHAN - Mr. Clifford (Cliff) James Callaghan, beloved husband of Mrs. Norma Callaghan of Calgary, passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on November 26, 1997 at the age of 57 years. Cliff was born on December 7, 1939 in Emyvale, P.E.I. Cliff married Norma Gallant on August 12, 1959 and moved to Alberta. He has been with Greyhound Lines of Canada for thirty-three years and took great pride in his job. He is the loving father of a daughter, Cindy Callaghan; a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Joelle Callaghan; and a grandson Dalton James Callaghan (Angel). He is also survived by three brothers, Louis, Gerry and Pete; and a sister Rosaleen; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his infant son Michael James Callaghan and his parents, Amos and Mary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) today, November 28, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dominic Pham Van Bao, O.P., Celebrant. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Mustard Seed Street Ministry, 521 - 13 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2R 0K4. CAMERON - Aaron Alistair Cameron, beloved son of John and Lynn and brother of Carina, passed away at his residence on July 17, 1997 at the age of 15 years. WEBB - Susan Jane Webb (nee Ball), born September 4, 1959 in Calgary, beloved daughter of Kathleen and Alfred Ball, cherished mother of Jonathan, Joey and Samantha, and dear companion of Otto Fomradas, passed away suddenly at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 12, 1997 at the age of 38 years. Susan is also survived and lovingly remembered by her one brother Michael; her two sisters, Karen MacDonald and Sara (Kim) Grimson, together with her beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two aunts, Dorothy McMahon and Lily Wilson; one uncle Owen McCarten; and numerous cousins, all in England and Ireland. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the compassion and care shown Susan and her family at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. WEBER - It is with great sadness that the family of Grant LeRoy Weber would like to inform friends of his passing on Sunday, December 21, 1997 at the age of 77 years. Grant will be lovingly remembered by his wife Catherine; their three remaining children, Ron, Sharron-Lea, and Gary, and their families; as well as the family of their deceased son Gerald Roy Weber.Grant was born December 29, 1919 in the city of Edmonton. After service with the Royal Canadian Air Force, he joined his brother Gerald (deceased) in the partnership of Cardinal Coach Lines which they operated for many years. Grant served his community through dedication to various historical associations in the province. A Memorial Service will be held at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.), on Monday, December 29, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of choice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta (1825 Park Road S.E., T2G 3Y6). WEBSTER - Paul Grant Webster of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on July 12, 1997 at the age of 83 years. Paul is the loving father of his two sons, Wayne (Bobbie), and Gerry (Dot); his four grandchildren, Shane, Cody, Lynanne (Dean), and Craig (Michelle). He is also survived by his brother John of Nanaimo, B.C.; nieces and nephews and by a special friend Sharon. He was predeceased by his sister Alice. Many thanks to the staff on Unit 91 of the Foothills Hospital for the love, care and dedication provided at a difficult time. Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME, on Tuesday, July 15, 1997, at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Cremation and arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY and FUNERAL HOME, 17 AVENUE S.E. at GARDEN ROAD (3km East of 68 Street) (7/14/1997).

WEEKS - The family of Doreen Weeks announces with sadness that she passed away peacefully on June 4, 1997. She will always live in the hearts of her daughter and son-in-law, Sheena and David Bean and her grandchildren, Martin and Barbara Bean, and Lindsay and Bill Ward. Doreen, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday, came to Calgary from England in 1975 and loved her life here as a Canadian citizen. She was one of the first members of the Second Sixties and a longtime member of the Confederation Park Choir. A Memorial Service will be held at the University of Calgary in the University Club, MacEwan (Fourth Floor) on Wednesday, June 11 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1825 Park Road S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 3Y6 (6/7/1997).

CAMPBELL - Mrs. Grace Campbell (nee Sinclair) of Calgary, passed away at the Beverly Care Centre on Monday, December 1, 1997, at the age of 80 years. Grace was born on June 8, 1917 in Calgary, the daughter of John and Jean Sinclair. Grace attended Crescent Heights High School and became a secretary following graduation from secretarial school. Grace married Alexander Campbell on October 17, 1942 and spent the remaining war years in Scotland. Following the war, Grace and Alex returned to Calgary and in 1948 welcomed the arrival of their son, Harry. After their retirement, Grace and Alex spent ten years on Mayne Island, B.C. and in 1982, they returned to Calgary. Following Alex's passing in 1993, Grace moved to the Beverly Care Centre. Grace was avid reader and enjoyed knitting and sewing. Grace was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Diane of Calgary; and three grandchildren, Brett, Jenna and Breanne. She was predeceased by her husband Alex, her parents, John and Jean Sinclair, and her sister Jessie Lewis. At Grace's request, private family Services will be held. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Arthritis Society, 105, 1301 - 8 Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2R 1B7. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the Beverly Care Centre for their loving care of Grace.
