BENOIT - Mary Margaret (Marion) Benoit, of Calgary, passed away at the BowCrest Nursing Home on December 9, 1997, at the age of 95 years. Marion is survived by three daughters and three sons-on-law, a son and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth and Franklin Jackson of Kentucky, U.S.A., Catherine and Raymond Fougere of Nova Scotia, Jim and Delores Benoit, Doris and Chuck Lailey, all of Calgary; as well as sixteen grandchildren. KOLOTINSKY - David Herbert Kolotinsky, of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, July 1, 1997 at the age of 65 years. David was the beloved husband of Barbara (Bobby); devoted father to Melissa and Richard Milton, Stephen and Carole Kolotinsky, all of Winnipeg, MB, Aviva and Alison Kolotinsky of Calgary; as well as loving Zadie to Cole, Millie, Jessica and Brennan. KONIG - Inge Konig of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Thursday, July 17, 1997 at the age of 65 years. She is the beloved mother of Alan and Jacqueline Koenig of Calgary; and loving grandmother to Jonathan and Rachel. She is also survived by a brother Art Schleifer and his wife Erika of Ontario; a sister Dagmar and brother Harald both of Germany; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. BEAGLE - Bernice E. passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 1997 at the age of 76. She is survived and missed by Stuart, her husband of fifty-seven years; children, Robert (Jackie) of Mossleigh, Alta., Gary (Barbara), and Shirley of Calgary; her six grandchildren, Rob and Janice; Stephen, Ryan and Curtis; and Joshua Beagle; her brothers, Len (Laura) and Alvin Stevens of High River, Alta.; and her sister Helen (Hank) Frank of Havre, Mont.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bernice was born in High River on October 29, 1921 to Chauncey and Grace Stevens and raised on their farm near Dinton. In 1940, she married Stu and they farmed the majority of the time in the Herronton-Mossleigh area, moving to Calgary in 1973. For over twenty-five years, until restricted by ill health, Bernice and Stu enjoyed many active retired years, golfing, fishing, travelling and wintering in Southern California. She was also a very active homemaker and gardener. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palliative Care, Strathmore Hospital, 200 Brent Boulevard, Strathmore, AB T1P 1J9. BEAL - August 3, 1916 to September 3, 1997. Elmer James (Bud), passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years, at the Rockyview Hospital. Left to celebrate his life is the family he adored, Marion, his loving wife for fifty-six years; his daughter Marilyn J. Beal; his daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Reg Lippitt; and his grandchildren, Stephen and Catherine Lippitt. He is also survived by his brother Jack and family. Bud was a native Calgarian who was a born salesman from an early age, including car sales and commercial real estate. Bud was so proud of his forty-five year membership in AA. He was the longest standing member of AA who joined in Calgary. Through his many illnesses and hospital stays, his ability to bounce back with a zest for life and a sense of humour touched many lives. Funeral Services will be held at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.), today at 1:00 p.m. An interpreter for the Deaf will be present. BEAUDIN - Mr. Edward Beaudin of Calgary, and formerly of Saskatchewan, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on July 20, 1997 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by two sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister, and their families. Edward was predeceased by his wife Josephine in 1965 and his son Bobby in 1970.
