Passed away on July 24, 2004 at the age of 18 years, JUSTIN KYLE TAYLOR, beloved son of Bob and Sandra Taylor.
Justin was born in Picture Butte on October 28, 1985. He attended LCI in Lethbridge. He loved to snowboard and work on cars. He was a hard worker, and a fun-loving, friendly guy, who always had lots of friends. To some, he was known as the "Miserable Midget." He loved animals, especially his pets.
Besides his loving parents, Bob and Sandra, Justin is survived by his brother Brent of Lethbridge; grandma Bev Taylor of Medicine Hat; aunts and uncles Brenda Bender, Charlene (Rick) Ackerman, Sherry (Ron) Kheen, Wes (Elaine) Taylor, David Taylor, Dale Taylor, Randy (Donna) Taylor, Duane Taylor, Ernie (Sherry) Taylor, Doug (Susan) Taylor, and Rodney (Gail) Taylor; and aunt Dianna (Eli) Lermer and their families; as well as numerous cousins and their families. He is predeceased by his grandparents Melbourne and Dorothy McPhee; grandfather Albert Taylor; and cousin Kelly O'Brian.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, Lethbridge, AB. Interment followed in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, AB.

Kenneth Ralph Friedley was born on November 22, 1946 in Calgary, Alberta and passed away on October 18, 2003 in Delia, Alberta. Funeral Services will be held from the Delia Community Hall on October 25, 2003 at 2:00 P.M.
Nicolas Antoine Joseph "Nick" Labossiere, of Drayton Valley
On Saturday, April 19, 2003 Mr. Nick Labossiere of Drayton Valley passed away in Leduc at the age of 90 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving family; son Robert of Drayton Valley and his daughter Frances; daughter Barbara (Nelson) Anderson of Leduc and their sons Bradley, Neil and Kyle; brother Gerald Labossiere of Vancouver; daughter in law Janey and her children Michelle and Matthew.
Nick was predeceased by his wife Blanche and son Wayne.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Drayton Valley Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Henley officiating.

HALL, Madeleine
1918 - 2004
Madeleine Hall of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the age of 85 years. Madeleine was born October 27, 1918 on her father's homestead, north of Pincher Creek, AB. She married Luther (Dick) Hall in 1942 and together they farmed and ranched north of Pincher Creek. In later years, they enjoyed farming in the Cowley District, prior to moving to Calgary in 1972. In the last six years, Madeleine enjoyed visiting the farm in Whitefish, Montana. Madeleine is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe and Joan Hall and Doug Hall; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Don Mundie; nine grandchildren, Barbara (Art), Brenda (Duane), Lisa (Wayne), Wendy (Wayne), Sandy, Joey, Shaun (Kerry), Stephanie, and Colin; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Luther (Dick); parents, Laura and Arthur Hutchins; and brother Raymond Hutchins. Funeral Service was held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W., Calgary) on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. Graveside Service followed at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mary Ann Rosko, of Peace River
Mary Ann Rosko, a long time resident of Peace River, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary on April 24, 2004 at the age of 62 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ed, daughters Jackie and Jeannie (Gary), grandson Connor, sister Sophie (Cam) Stano of Kelowna, BC as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Mary’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 101, 9928 - 100th Ave., Grande Prairie, AB T8V 0T9.
Elsie Naomi Scott nee: Hannah, of Hanna
Elsie Naomi Scott passed away in Hanna on Thursday, October 9, 2003.
Elsie Naomi Hannah was one of nine children of Richard and Ellen Hannah, born on May 15, 1907 in Killarney, Manitoba. As a young girl she moved with her family to the Hanna area where Richard Hannah homesteaded in 1912, about a mile east of Hanna.
On November 19, 1931, Elsie married Albert Hanson. Albert and Elsie farmed for about five years near Rosebud. Two children were born to Elsie and Albert; Elvin and Howard. Elvin died in infancy at the age of five months. On July 14, 1936 Albert died of pneumonia. After his death Elsie and Howard moved back to Hanna. She took a hairdressing course and operated a hairdressing salon out of her home for several years.
On January 9, 1949, Elsie and Joseph Scott were united in marriage. Elsie and Joe had forty good years together. Joe worked for the town of Hanna, operating the towns’ water treatment facility. On his retirement, Elsie and Joe became very active in the ATTA (Alberta Travel Trailers Association). They travelled extensively through the province and made many friends in the Mirror Trailer Club.
Elsie was an active member of the Hanna Church of Christ where she served as secretary of the Women’s association for many years.
In the fall of 1993, Elsie moved into the Hanna Lodge where she was a resident until September 2003, when she moved into the Palliser Nursing Home.
A Service of Remembrance was held on October 12th in the Hanna United Church with Betty Warrington officiating.
Elsie was predeceased by her infant son, Elvin in 1932, husband Albert Hanna in 1936, husband Joseph Scott in 1989; parents Richard and Ellen Hannah, and brothers; Lorne, Jim, Bob, Ronald and Johnny.
She is survived by her son Howard (Jean) Hanson; grandsons, Paul Hanson, Geoffrey Hanson and Lawrence Hanson; her brother Ivan (Anna) Hannah and sisters; Phyllis Anderson and Isabel (Jack) Schmidt, and several nieces and nephews.
