OLSEN, CLIFFORD J.F. Clifford J.F. Olsen of Camrose passed away on December 20, 2010 at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Mil; two sons Reg (Marilyn) and Garry (Margaret); one daughter Barb (James) Enarson; five grandchildren Darry ( Gerri), Todd (Suzy), Michele (Roger), Mark (Erin)and Paul (Haylee); seven great grandchildren Morgan (Chance), Brad, Emily, Owen, Joshua, Jack and Zoey; one great-great granddaughter Alexis; one brother Ralph; one sister Evelyn (Bill) Coen; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Clifford was predeceased by one grandson Perry; and one brother Earl. A memorial service was held at 2: 00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Century Meadows Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Morris officiating. Funeral Service for the late Jason Daniel Rodgers, age 12 of Calder, Saskatchewan and formerly of Calgary, Alberta died on August 21, 2003 in the Togo district, Saskatchewan was held on Monday, August 25, 2003 in the Chapel of E. Andrychuk Funeral Home with Rev. Francis Patterson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to E. Andrychuk Funeral Home - Kamsack, Saskatchewan.
Jason was born on May 14, 1991 in Calgary, Alberta. He was educated at Ranchlands Elementary School in Calgary, Alberta and participated in minor soccer.
Jason was predeceased by his great grandfather, Ralph Harnum, grandfather, Arthur Rodgers and cousin, Christopher Lewis Snow.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cindy Rodgers of Calder, Saskatchewan; father Daniel Rodgers of Calgary, Alberta and sister Krystal Cynthia Rodgers of Calder, Saskatchewan.

EDWARD BERGER Edward Berger, formerly of Camrose, passed away peacefully inWetaskiwin on Dec. 19, 2010 to be with his Lord.He was 91 years old. Edward is survived by his sister Doris(Arno)Johnson of Whitecourt; sisters-in-law Joyce and Emma; and nine nephews and nieces.He was predeceased by his parents Iver and Gerda; brothers Gordon, Roy, Morley, Harold and sister-in-law Gerd. Shannon Fredrick Charles Simms, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away in Grande Prairie on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the age of 34 years.
Shannon was born October 13, 1977 in Grand Falls, Windsor, Newfoundland. He was raised in Bay d’Espoir, Newfoundland in his early years and then spent time in Port aux Choix, Newfoundland and Hay River, Northwest Territories. Shannon worked as a truck driver but spent the last 5 years working at Canfor in Grande Prairie. He loved to play and listen to music and was an avid sports fan.
Shannon will be sadly missed by his wife Colleen (Cramm); mom Virtue and dad Charles; sister Germaine (Peter) and nephew Samuel and niece Keira; Mamie Manuel (Colleen’s grandmother); Doreen and Robert Cramm (mother and father-in-law).
He was predeceased by Fredrick and Maisie Willmott (maternal grandparents); Charles and Evelyn Simms (paternal grandparents).
Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:30pm at Jubilee Pentecostal Temple in Botwood, Newfoundland.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 3:00pm at Victory Church on the Rock in Grande Prairie.
Mervin Daniel Carson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mervin Carson. Mervin passed away suddenly at the age of 77 years and leaves behind to mourn his wife of 26 years Donnelda (Donna); sons David (Lucy), Jim (Kim), Vern (Kelsey), Dwayne (Deana); six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many friends and extended family in Whitewood, Saskatchewan.
An honest “country gentleman”, Mervin’s gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Mervin’s life will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00pm at People’s Church in Grande Prairie. All are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
