Bob Harbourne passed away July 3, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. Bob is survived by his wife Karen, son Steven, mother Del Harbourne, brother Roxy Harbourne, sister Leslie Snyder, and their families, and many relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Ag Hall in Manning. If friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the "Bob Harbourne Memorial Scholarship Fund" c/o Paul Rowe High School, Box 488, Manning, AB T0H 2M0.
FICHTEN, David
On September 20, 2011, Mr. David Fichten passed away at the age of 62 years.
David is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Vicki; two stepsons, David, Kevin (Christina) and their son, Maxwell; three brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, one brother and two nephews.

Yvon Joseph Denis Vautour
February 17, 1936 ~ June 23, 2010
After a valiant battle with cancer, Yvon passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side at the Grande Cache Hospital . He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Audrey, daughter Denise and grandson Michael ( Edmonton ). Yvon's younger brother Bill, wife Ida and family ( New Brunswick ) are with us in spirit as we say goodbye to a good man. Also with us in spirit are Yvon's sister-in-law Betty () and family ( Nova Scotia ). Yvon will be dearly missed by the many wonderful friends he has made in Grande Cache and surrounding communities. He was blessed in this life to have many enduring friendships, from one end of to the other.
Yvon was predeceased by his father William, mother Ozelie, older brother Leon and granddaughter Leah (Bouvier) and now joins them among the clouds ~ a grand reunion is taking place as we prepare to celebrate his wonderful life on Wednesday, June 30th at the Legion in Grande Cache. The White Poppy Service will begin @ 2:00pm, with refreshments and fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the Vautour Family suggests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta and NWT, 200 – 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta – T2E 2P5 in memory of Yvon Vautour.

ARNHOLTZ, DALE ALLEN
On May 9th, 2008, Dale Allen Arnholtz of Robb, Alberta passed away at the age of 61 years.
Left to mourn his loss, his son Jason (Kristy Sheehy) Arnholtz of Edmonton, Alberta, his son Aaron Arnholtz of Robb, Alberta and his children Paytan, Savannah and Mylie and by Lorna Moore, the mother of his children.
Dale is also survived by his brother Warren Arnholtz of Calgary, Alberta and his sisters Marion (Glen) McKinney of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Joyce Umbach of Calgary, Alberta.
There are several nieces, nephews and other relatives left to mourn.
Dale was predeceased by his son Carlen on May 31st, 2003 as well as his mother and father Frieda and Ben Arnholtz.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Foothills Memorial Chapel in Edson with LWL Kimberly Roy officiating. Cremation followed the service.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to N.A.B.I.S (Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society) #229, Royal Alex Place, 10106 – 111 Ave., Edmonton, Alberta, T5G 0B4 in memory of Dale Allen Arnholtz.

FORD, Sharon Ann
August 3, 1943 - September 19, 2011
Sharon Ann Ford of Clyde, AB. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sharon is survived by her husband Wilfred (Woody) Ford, four brothers, three sisters, 12 children, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alex and Isabella Nichols, son Richard Ford, stepson Leonard Gladue and two grandchildren.
Services: Park Memorial, Viewing September 25, 2011, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Funeral September, 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow. Interment Northern Lights.
Edward John Kowalczyk
(October 13, 1959 - May 19, 2011)
Edward John Kowalczyk, longtime resident of Eaglesham, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the age of 51 years.
Ed was born on October 13, 1959 in Grande Prairie, Alberta to Cassy and Emily Kowalczyk. Ed spent his school years going to Eaglesham School. Ed quit school at age 16 to work on the family farm. In 1980 he married Diane Couillard and they had 2 children; Cindy born in 1981 and Bradly born in 1983. In 1994 Ed and Diane decided to go their separate ways. In 1996 Ed got together with his partner Brenda Pelletier.
Ed spent his working years busy with the farm and his company Kowalczyk Trucking. In his spare time Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, camping and various community activities, and spending time with family and friends especially his granddaughters.
Ed will be missed by his mother Emily Kowalczyk; partner Brenda Pelletier; daughter Cindy (Chris); son Bradly (Hope); grandchildren Kendra, Breann, Wyatt, Ciaro; brother Teddy; nephew Brandon, as well as numerous other family and friends.
Ed was predeceased by his father Cassy; grandparents John and Catherine Los, as well as Ed Stephens.
Funeral service is to be held at Eaglesham Hall in Eaglesham, Alberta on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Smokey Rec Center or the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
