Today you will be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43) On Friday morning, Chuck said farewell and continued on his journey. He leaves behind to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy: his amazing life partner, Chris, his four children and their significant others: Ron (Jo-Anne), Jim (Maggie), Glenda (Kevin), and John (Donna), 10 treasured grandchildren of whom he was very proud of: Shannon, Cameron (Patti), Thomas, Sarah, Nathan, Erin, Laura, Amy, Jayne, and Zachary, two great grandchildren: Tyson and Toria, his siblings: Gladys, Dinty (Norma), and Roy (Pam), his sister-in-law: Joyce (Greg), as well as many extended family and numerous friends. Chuck worked for Northwestern Utilities for 43 years. He was an active member of the Host Lions Club for 23 years. Chuck considered himself well paid when he received a thank you for anything he had done. He was always ready to give a hand, and was a jack of all trades. One of his favourite projects was the family cabin, where he shared many good times with family and friends over the past 50 years. A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 @1:00 pm @ Strathcona Baptist Church, 8318-104 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in memory of Chuck, would be appreciated.
