Irene Victoria Konopelka-Milkovich was born on September 3, 1950 at Rycroft, Alberta. She passed away in the UofA Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 62 on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
Irene is survived by her husband William Milkovich. She also leaves behind her brothers: Nick (Ann) Konopelka, Bill (Mary Skoworodko) Konopelka of Rycroft; and her sisters: Olga Korol of Spirit River, Ann (Larry) Coté of Creston, BC, Mary Radomski of Grande Prairie, Jean (Albert) Zatelny of Grande Prairie, Alice (Alfred) Harris of Edmonton, Lena (Fred) Skawronski of St. Paul, as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous friends.
Irene was predeceased by her father Stephen in 1969, mother Mary in 1992, brother Alexander in 1936, brother Alex in 2002, nephew Joseph Radomski in 1958, brother in–law Paul Radomski in 2006, Shelly Mrkonjic in 2006 and brother in-law Nick Korol in 2011.
Funeral services for late Irene Victoria Konopelka-Milkovich will be held at the Rycroft Community Hall on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00pm with Pastor Wes Brown of Grace Gospel Church of Spirit River officiating. The interment to follow in the Greenway cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to STARS or Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation in Edmonton would be greatly appreciated.
CARTWRIGHT, Helen
We regret to announce the passing of Helen Cartwright on May 14, 2015, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 75 years.
Helen is survived by her loving husband Bill of Edson, Alberta, and sadly missed and forever loved by her daughter’s Jeanne Cartwright and Paula Niehaus and her brother Pete (Wanda) Haire.
She will never be forgotten by her grandchildren Sheila (Barry) Colpitts, and Shaun and Aaron Cartwright as well as great grandchildren Brianna, Cassidy, Sam and Haden.
She will also be missed by her Nephews Darren (Leanne) and their son Spencer and Tyler (Amy) Haire as well as step children Carla, Carrie, Crystal, Coral, Chandra, Callie, Chad and their families along with numerous other relatives and many friends.
Helen was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Harold Douglas and parents Clifford and Jeanne Haire.
The Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edson, Alberta, with Father Josilito Cantal officiating.
Viewing took place prior to the service.
Interment followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.

George Carlton Pedersen
July 16, 1941 - September 30, 2012
George Carlton Pedersen, longtime resident of the Grande Prairie area, passed away peacefully at his home on September 30, 2012, at the age of 71 years.
George (also known as Blinky to longtime friends) spent the majority of his life in the area. Born in Grande Prairie, he grew up in Goodfare, Alberta and lived in Edmonton, Beaverlodge, and Grande Prairie. He worked in road construction most of his life. Any resident of Alberta will at some time have driven on a road that he had a hand in building.
George will be sadly missed by his wife Patsy, his daughters: Selena (Kevin) Sliger, Carolyn (Fabian) Beaudoin, Bobby (Jocelyn) Langois, and son Derek Pedersen; sister Nola Schweitzer; and his precious grandchildren: Keegan, Skyler, Alexandra, Adam, Dominic, Anaya; nephews Darwin Schweitzer, Dallas Schweitzer and niece Lynette Pedersen.
He was predeceased by his mother Jean, father Ben, brothers Darwin and Lyle, and brother-in-law Edward.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Goodfare Community Hall, with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Mennonite Guest Home in support of accommodations for parents and spouses of patients undergoing treatment in Edmonton, or to your local Toys For Tots, as George felt it was important for every child to have a toy at Christmas.
WESTERNENG, Ednamarie
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Marie on May 14th, 2015 at the age of 58 years, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Edna is survived by her husband Henk of Edson, Alberta, her children: son Donald Nettnay of Clive, Alberta and his children Isabella and Matthew, daughter Robyn (Rob) Knight and family of Lethbridge, Alberta, daughter Johanna Westerneng of Victoria, BC, son Kyle Westerneng (Brandy Shephard) of Hay Lakes, Alberta and Dreena Westerneng of Camrose, Alberta.
Edna was predeceased by Robert Palmason and Everett Westerneng and her parents Mary Ann and Charles Adams.
Following cremation, a "Celebration of Life" and service was held on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 at 1PM at the Edson Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Steve Rigby officiating.
In lieu of other tributes, Edna had requested that donations if desired may be made to Children’s Stollery Hospital Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1502 College Plaza, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 2C8 in her memory.
Joe William Kish
September 14, 1948 - October 4, 2012
Joe William Kish passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 64 years.
Joe was employed by Ainsworth for 16 years where he made many close friends.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Debbie Reihl, children: Cher Doris (Dale), Joel Kish (Christine), Christine Shirran (Steve), Kristen Yaceyko (Brad), Desiree Reihl-Kish; grandchildren: Sean, Jay, Marcus, and Keira; parents Frank and Mary Kish; sisters Diane Schlosser, Karen Kish, sister in-law Jacquie Aitken Kish, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his younger brother Ken Kish in 2011.
Public viewing will be held at Oliver's Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 7:30 until 8:30 pm.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00am at Oliver's Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in the City of Grande Prairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the QEII Hospital Foundation– Palliative Care Unit.
