Helma Catherine Bridget Fletcher
June 13, 1942 - September 20, 2012
On Thursday, September 20, 2012 the world became a little darker due to the sudden passing of Helma Fletcher.
Helma was a joyful and loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, friend, colleague and mentor. There is no one word that can capture the essence of Helma and what she meant to the world. Every individual who knew Helma, experienced their own journey with her. Helma was larger than life, exuberant, dark rum, never ending energy, terrible driver, hilarious, passionate, olives up the nose, intense, all or nothing, home remedies, broccoli in the ears, dynamic, Mrs. Claus, diverse, always fun, and a life saver to many…….fill in the blank for your own experience.
Helma is survived by her children: Karen, Keli, Marcel, Carleton and beloved grandson Will.
Her best friend and husband, Wayne, undoubtedly met her on the other side.

Stuart Noel Morrison
MORRISON, Stuart Noel (1927 - 2010) Stuart Noel Morrison, loving father of Bob and Denise, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre at the age of 82. Stuart was born in Stavely, Alberta, on September 6, 1927, to Florence and Dan Morrison. He came from a family of three brothers and one sister: Harold, Duncan, Don and Shirley. Stuart was intuitive, intelligent and honest and these attributes assisted him in his field of becoming a good plumber & gasfitter in 1961 in High River. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed learning. He went to Calgary in 1967 and worked at ATCO for twenty-three years. In 1991, Stuart retired from his hard work to enjoy a quiet life in Blairmore and to spend precious time with his family. Stuart loved his family and was blessed with four children: Darcy, Marianne, Bob and Denise. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He cherished the quiet times of his life by playing crib, Scrabble, or doing a Circle Word puzzle. He was a quiet and gentle man, who was always willing to help and answer any plumbing or gasfitting questions. Listening to country music was another of his chosen pastimes. Left to celebrate Stuart's life are his loving children: Bob (Mar) Morrison of High River, Alberta; and Denise (Brian) Stang of Lundbreck, Alberta; his sister Shirley Turley of Calgary; his thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Peacefully and quietly, Stuart now rests with his Higher Power. He is predeceased by his parents: Dan and Florence Morrison; his daughter Marianne Dingreville (1997); and his son Darcy Morrison (2006); his brothers: Harold, Duncan, and Don Morrison. On Friday, August 27, 2010, a Memorial Service for Stuart Morrison will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Fantin's Funeral Chapel (13461 - 20 Avenue, Blairmore, Alberta) with Rev. Dr. Christopher Smith officiating. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations for the late Stuart Morrison be made towards the Alberta Cancer Foundation (Lethbridge Cancer Clinic, Room 2H209, 960 - 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5). Fantin's Funeral Chapel assisting the Family with funeral arrangements.
