Todd Cameron Setter
SETTER - Todd Cameron October 8, 1956 - August 19, 2010 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of my best friend and husband Todd Setter on Thursday, August 19, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 53 years. Todd passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home with his family by his side. Todd is survived by his loving wife Corinne; four beautiful daughters, Kyla, Jocelyn, Krysta, and Jodi; two grandchildren, Gracie Anne and Charlie Cameron who he loved with all his heart; sisters, Holly and Heather; and brothers, Chad, Clayton, and Brett. He was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and Fred, as well as by his brother Calvin. Todd will be forever missed by many friends and family members too numerous to mention. At Todd's request an informal gathering celebrating his life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Patsy Maddison
MADDISON, Patsy (Pat) Marie (nee O’Hara) November 20, 1944 – August 9, 2010 Pat, forever devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and Nurse peacefully passed away while surrounded by her family. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, John, and three children Jacquie (Mike) Kindrachuk, Rick (Joni) Maddison and Joey. Pat’s pride and joy were her grandchildren Evan, Ryan, Jack and Tess. Also left to cherish Pat’s memory are her mother, Martha O’Hara; her sisters, Maureen (Nick) Marcetta, Darlene (Dave) Bernhardsen, Shirley O’Hara, Linda (Robb) Douglas and Angie O’Hara; her brother, Dan (Joan) O’Hara and their families. Pat was predeceased by her father, Paul O’Hara; her brother Dale O’Hara; and forever remembered nephew Tyler Douglas Pat, John and family have so many people to thank, of particular mention are Pat’s “special angels” Dr. Patocka and staff of the Devon Hospital, Doctors and staff at the Cross Cancer Clinic, and Unit 43 Palliative Care Unit of Grey Nuns Hospital. A Memorial Service was held at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at St. Maria Goretti Parish, 8 St. Clair Street, Devon. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society #1200, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8. Serenity Funeral Service, Leduc.

BENJAMIN Decoteau
DECOTEAU, BENJAMIN - The family of Benjamin Decoteau wish to announce his passing on August 15, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta. Benjamin was 85 years old. Left to cherish his memory and treasure all that he was is his loving family; his wife Rosie and children, Diane (Chris), Donna, Mike, Kathleen (Greg), Myra, Rick (Melinda) and Art (Cheryl) as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Benjamin also leaves behind his brothers, Darryl (June) and Allen (Shirley); sisters Dawn (Russell) and Sharon (Johnny) as well as many nieces, nephews and many, many good friends. Benjamin was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Mariah Decoteau, sons Edward, Charles, Benjie; daughters, Bertha and Brenda, as well as older brothers Alec and Doug; sisters Josephine and Lena and father and mother in law, Jim and Dolly Whitehorse. Funeral Services for Benjamin were held on August 20, 2010 at Mackay Hall, Mackay, Alberta at 1:00 PM with burial following at the Mackay Cemetery. Edson Funeral Home Ltd. entrusted with all the arrangements.

GORING, ALLAN ALBERT
It is with great sadness, that the family of Allan Goring, announce his passing on July 24th, 2009 in Grande Cache, Alberta . Allan was 77 years old.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory is his loving family; wife, Jo Goring of Grande Cache and Allan’s daughters Debbie Coventry and daughter Tanya James and great grand daughters Makayla and Kamaya all of Vancouver, British Columbia; and daughter Leslie Goring of Whitehorse, Yukon . Allan is survived by two sisters, Eleanor (Morley) Ries of Biggar, Saskatchewan and Verna Tangierd of Melville, Saskatchewan . Allan is also survived by his stepchildren, Linda, Ken, and James Ticiniski and family; Terry (Dale) Kinney and family, and Wayne (Lynette) King and family. He is fondly remembered and survived by many relatives and close friends.
Most of Allen’s life had been dedicated to the work of St. Johns Ambulance Service, and was a life member and past president of Grande Cache’s Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. He joined St. John Ambulance Service in 1963 and had been involved ever since, helping those in the RCMP, Armed Forces, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and Fire and Ambulance Services. Allan was decorated with the prestigious Governor General’s Medal for Distinguished Service in Ottawa in 1978 for service with the St Johns Ambulance. He received his 25 year service award with St Johns Ambulance Service in Edmonton in 1983. Allan had come to Grande Cache as a First Aid Attendant with Macintyre Porcupine 1969 and then as First Aid Supervisor with Smoky River Coal; he also taught mine first aid. His life was helping others. He will be greatly missed.
Memorial Services for Allan will take place on August 13th, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pineview Alliance Church in Grande Cache, Alberta with Pastor Brad Shellenberg presiding. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of a floral tribute, the family suggests that a donation can be made to the Grande Cache General Hospital Box 629, 10200 Shand Avenue, Grande Cache, Alberta T0E 0Y0, or to the Pineview Alliance Church 10201 Hoppe Avenue, Grande Cache, Alberta T0E 0Y0 in Allan’s memory.
Grande Cache Funeral Services (780-827-4448) entrusted with all the arrangements.

JOHNSTON, Amanda
Funeral Services for Amanda will take place Sunday, December 27th, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Fulham Community Centre, Fulham, Alberta with Reverend Kent Horsman officiating. Interment will follow at the Shining Bank Cemetery, Shining Bank, Alberta. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be directed to the Fulham Memorial Scholarship Fund, Box 17, Peers, Alberta, T0E 1W0.

Brown, Isaac
BROWN, Isaac On April 4, 2006, Isaac Brown of Edmonton passed away at the age of 68 years. Isaac is survived by his loving family, his three sons: Stanford (Saloman) Robert and Donnavon; one daughter Diana; adopted daughters: Karen, Georgia and Neisha Brown; 18 grandchildren; two brothers: Philip and Joseph; three sisters: Edna, Lolita and Envita as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street on Friday, April 14, 2006 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Cornerstone New Testament Church of God, 9620-109 Avenue at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 - 91 Street.
