Gwen Campbell
Date: November 7th, 2009
On Nov. 7, 2009, Mrs. Gwen Campbell formerly of Ryley and Camrose passed away at the age of 92 years.
She is survived by her daughter Noreen, granddaughter Peggy (Charles), grandsons Scott (Trudy), Wayne (Michelle) and Larry Jr. (Trina); numerous great grandchildren, her sister Hellen Carter, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, daughter Diane and son-in-law Keith, two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from the Messiah Lutheran Church in Camrose with interment to follow at Emil Bosman's Memorial Gardens at Round Hill. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of one's choice.

BERTRAM ABNER EVERITT
January 2, 1915 - August 27, 2009
Dad was born on January 2, 1915 in Loverna, Saskatchewan to Charles and Mary Everitt. He was the first of four children including his brother Ross and sisters Nadine and Blanche. The family lived in Smiley, Saskatchewan until he was five years old when he moved to Edmonton.
In 1925 the family moved to Round Hill followed by a move to Athabasca in 1930 and a move back to Edmonton in 1933 where he began work as a butcher. In 1934 Dad moved to Cadomin, Alberta where he worked in a general store for five years until he moved to Tofield in 1939 to work in a local butcher shop.
He married Marjory Stewart, a teacher in Tofield on June 27, 1940 at St Stephens College and they later moved to Edmonton where they resided until 1946. Clayton was born in Edmonton in October of 1941, John in August of 1943 and Lois in July of 1945.
Dad and Mom moved to Wetaskiwin for six months in 1946 followed by a move back to Tofield in the same year. Although they continued to live in Tofield Dad bought a store in Vermillion in 1948 before starting his own store in Tofield later in 1948. Allan was born in Tofield in June of 1949 followed by Douglas in November of 1950. Dad ran his own butcher shop and grocery store in Tofield until retiring at the age of 70 in 1985.
Mom and Dad enjoyed celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2000 only a few months before Mom passed away. Dad continued to live in Tofield until his passing on August 27, 2009 at age 94 years, 7 months, and 25 days.
He will be lovingly remember by his daughter Lois (Rich), sons Allan (Dianne) and Douglas (Lotti), grandchildren Chris, David (Jen), Stephen, Jason, Justin, Lisa (Kevin), and Danny, six great grandchildren and step-sister Doreen (Bill) McLennan.
He was predeceased by his wife Marjory, infant son John, and son Clayton.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., at the Bardo Lutheran Church in Tofield. Interment to follow in the Tofield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Tofield Health Centre Long Term Care.

Larry Csernyanski
Date: October 27th, 2009
Larry Csernyanski of Camrose, Alberta passed away on October 27, 2009 at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his two sons Corey and Joel; one daughter Jody (Ryan); grandson Logan; mother Helen and numerous family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel in Camrose. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

NORMAN FRANCIS HANOSKI
Norman Francis Hanoski, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and friend passed peacefully from this life on October 22, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose, AB at the age of 77 years.
Norm was born on December 22, 1931 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Frank and Eva Hanoski. He grew up on a farm near Spring Valley with his brother Ralph. Norm began his career as an X-ray Technician in 1953 in Moose Jaw. He married Miriam Baker in 1956 and soon after began their family of nine children.
The family moved to Wainwright, AB in 1963 and then to Camrose in 1973 where Norm began his new career in hospital administration. The highlight of his career was overseeing the planning and construction of the new St. Mary's Hospital as Building Coordinator. He will be remembered as a gentleman and a gentle man.
Norm will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Miriam; his children Lynne of Victoria; Rob (Brenda), Neil (Donna), Phil (Deb) all of Camrose; Janet of Calgary; James of Edmonton; Sharon (Darryl) of Red Deer; Patti (Daryl) of Whitecourt; Joanie (Randy) of Cochrane; as well as sixteen grandchildren, and countless relatives and friends.
Norm was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
And may perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Camrose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, with Father Eduardo Escobar and Father Len Gartner presiding. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Hospital Chapel Fund.

Frances Leeb
Date: October 15th, 2009
Mrs. Frances Leeb of Camrose, formerly of Heisler, passed away on October 15, 2009 at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Edward. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel, Camrose, Alberta. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Camorse. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Hospital Chapel Fund or to the charity of one's choice.

Anne Thiessen
Date: October 13th, 2009
Anne Thiessen of Edmonton passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 90. Anne was born January 17, 1919 to Cornelius & Elizabeth Baerg in Elizabeththal, Ukraine. At age six, Anne migrated with her family to Canada, settling first in SK and later in Coaldale, AB. As a teen, Anne expressed her Christian commitment through baptism. She married Nick Thiessen in 1940 and they settled on a farm near Vauxhall, AB. In 1965, Anne & Nick moved to Edmonton, where Anne found part time work in childcare and as a nurse's aid at the Central Park Lodge. Anne & Nick were ordained as deacons in Lendrum M.B. Church. Anne welcomed young and old into her home to enjoy homemade buns and strong coffee. She was very outgoing and extended hospitality as an expression of her faith in Christ.
She was predeceased by daughter Esther, brother Jake and sister Mary.
Anne is survived by husband Nick; children Bob (Marianne), Jeanette, Paul (Evangeline), Gerry (Grace), Jim (Ingrid), and Grace Neudorf (Jim); 13 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and five sisters.
A viewing will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Lendrum Mennonite Brethren Church, 11210-59 Ave. Edmonton, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2009 also at Lendrum Mennonite Brethren Church. Memorial donations in Anne's memory can be made to Mennonite Central Committee and MB Missions and Services International.
