Donald "Sonny" Cameron
Date: September 22nd, 2009
It is with profound grief and sadness that we announce the passing of Donald "Sonny" Cameron suddenly at home on September 22, 2009, at the age of 79 years. Formerly of Inverness, Nova Scotia, Sonny had called Ryley his home for the last few years. He had moved to be closer to his pride and joy, his son and grandchildren. Sonny loved to sit and meet new friends over coffee and to do what he did best which was to be the best grandpa in the world. Sonny was also very proud of being a veteran and of having served his country over seas. He took pride in being a good son and a wonderful father. We could always depend on him to be there whenever we needed him and his passing leaves a huge hole in our lives.
Sonny was predeceased by his wife Viola and his parents Murdoch and Mary Cameron, also his brother's Jack, Buddy, and Jimmy.
Sonny is survived by his beloved son Murdoch (Rosalynd) Cameron and their six children Robert, Laura, Katie, Amelia, Liam and Molly, as well as one great grandson Dayton.
Forever loved and remembered, he will be with us always.
