On October 4, 2009, Norris passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Norris leaves his loving wife of 47 years, Mary; son, A. Barton (Donna) McLean; and three grandchildren: Carson, Cierra, and Savannah. He leaves a brother-in-law (John); sisters-in-law (Hilma, Lillia, Anne, Yvonne), nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family would like to thank Dr. H. Sacks and the entire staff of 9Y Edmonton General for the special care during Norris' final days. Visitations will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home (10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton). Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Robertson-Wesley United Church (10209 - 123 Street, Edmonton) with Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. LARSEN, Lloyd
July 11, 1927 ~ March 14, 2016
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lloyd Larsen on March 14, 2016 at the age of 88 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Thelma; his children Wendy, Brian (Charlotte), Patsy (Colin), Arlee (Bonnie); eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was predeceased by his father Ben; mother Ethel; brothers Leonard and Harold; sister Hazel; and his son-in-law Darryl Drew.
A celebration of his life was held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 12:30 pm at the Fulham Community Hall (Hwy 32 North of Peers, AB). Interment took place in Shining Bank Cemetery, Shining Bank, Alberta.
The family would like to thank the staff of Misericordia Hospital for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Alberta and NWT, 200-325 Manning Road N.E. Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 in memory of Lloyd Larsen.

KNIGHT, Grace Phyllis - With sadness we announce the passing of Grace Knight of Devon on April 9, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Grace is survived by her loving family, daughters, Leslie Morgan of Edmonton and Shawna (Robert) Robertson of Devon, her grandchildren Lindsay and Landon, a brother Clifford Morgan of Edmonton and a sister Shirley Pierce of Surrey, BC. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Pioneer 73 Club, 29 St. Lawrence Avenue, Devon. MacDONALD, Dennis Patrick
On March 18th, 2016, Dennis Patrick MacDonald, beloved husband of Lucinda, passed away in Edson, Alberta at the age of 75 years.
Besides his loving wife Lucinda, Dennis is survived by his daughter Tania (John) Mackaskill of Estevan, Saskatchewan and step son John McDonald of Kamloops, British Columbia and six grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings: William MacDonald and family and Sylvia Roads and family, all of Edson, Alberta and numerous other relatives including nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents, his brother Johnny MacDonald and niece Kathy MacDonald.
A wake service was held on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Marlboro Community Hall, Marlboro, Alberta and Funeral Services followed on Wednesday, March 23th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Marlboro Community Hall.
Cremation.
In lieu of other tributes, donations to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Dennis MacDonald is suggested by the family.
Peter Leo Berger, of Medicine Hat
Peter Leo Berger of Medicine Hat passed peacefully away on June 19, 2003, at the age of 91 years, beloved husband of the late Blanche Berger .
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Margaret Roen of Medicine Hat and Irene (Ron) Heppleston of Lacombe, five grandchildren, Lisa (Richard) McMow and Ross Roen both of Medicine Hat, Ameira (Greg) Steidl of Calgary, Aleshia (Dan) Pelchat of Fort McMurray and Dustin Heppleston of Lacombe; five great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Blanche in 1993, a son-in-law Michael Roen and all of his brothers and sisters.
Peter was born on April 9, 1912 in North Dakota and came with his family to the Ponteix, Saskatchewan area. In 1942 he married Blanche Legault and soon after moved to Youngstown, Alberta where Peter worked for the Special Areas.
Following his retirement they moved back to Ponteix. In 1997 he moved to Medicine Hat and resided at St. Joseph’s Home until his passing.
The funeral service was held in Notre Dame d’Auvergne Roman Catholic Church (Ponteix, Saskatchewan) on Monday, June 23, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Keith Heoberg celebrant. MACLEOD-HICKS, Lorna May
April 27, 1932 - April 9, 2006
On Sunday April 9, 2006 Lorna May MacLeod-Hicks of Edmonton, AB (formerly of Moose Jaw, SK) went to be with her Lord and Saviour, at the age of 73. Lorna lived her life for her family. She was an awesome Wife, Mom, Granny, Great Granny and Sister. She was an encourager and her friendly outgoing personality touched so many lives. Lorna is survived by her loving husband Owen, four children, Donna (Bill) Hobbs, Allan (Maxine) MacLeod, Ron (Carol) MacLeod, Joan (David) Styles, as well as six grandchildren, Dori-Anne (Darren) Petit, Shauna (Derek) Brown (Steffensen), Sarah (Brian) Bessey, Amanda (Adam) Slater, Michael MacLeod, Matthew MacLeod as well as two great-grandchildren, Hannah Brown (Steffensen), Tyler Petit. Her siblings, Reta Malcolm, Pat (Don) Hastings and Fred Powell. Lorna was predeceased by her first husband Donald MacLeod of Moose Jaw, SK, her dad Allan McLeod and mother Martha Lloyd. A Celebration of Lorna's life will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel in Moose Jaw, SK, with Reverend David Styles officiating. Memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In living memory of Lorna, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
